today is just the 3rd working day for the 6th of August, chill na, the only time to contact them is when it has extended beyond the normal stipulated time. I did mine 5th of August.

Napier student pls i know there was no interview done with sch but did the home office schedule any interview for you? Because i was scheduled for an interview for 9th of August and am yet to do it. I have sent series of mails, no response. My biometrics was done on july 8, standard and since then nothing.
They sent 3 not straight forward emails before scheduling interview for me. I don’t know what to think and this waiting is hell…..been thinking if they can just say, no interview again grant her visa….,lol

He needs a schengen visa or an Italian national visa because he is changing planes and taking a domestic flight from Milan to the UK. A transit visa won’t work.

He is using Ethiopian airline up to Milan then change to another airline Ryanair in Milan

I hope the Ethiopian airline isn't stopping by in Addis Ababa? if yes, he should cancel that flight and book tickets with airlines that are on the amber list if it's the cost you are looking to save.

Either ways I'll still advise canceling because he might need a transit visa to pass through Milan to the uk.

Yh, and from what I have heard about travelling from Lagos airport, you'll waste so much time in Nigeria, layover might not be more than a few mins when you get to Doha

Not always the case, I have found flights with transit time of less than 3Hrs, although I wouldn't know if these are still available.

Qatar is never direct, you will transit through Doha, and transit time for Qatar is usually long.

Have you done your biometrics? I'm not an ECO, you can TLS or GOV.uk websites to see reasons why your application might not straightforward.

for him/her, yes, it might be different for you, every application is treated on its merit so don't expect 4 working days when you put in your own application. Ideally, it's 5 working days but your decision might take longer due to several factors.

I have gone through the pages, the only info there is that I might be bridging my visa rule by working over 20hrs/week to keep up. keeping up isn't a problem and I won't go over 20hrs but the question is, will the movement of the fund affect eco's decision, or only the period shown on the statement will be checked?

I have kept the required fund in my account for over 28days and am ready to submit my application but I need to transfer back the fund to where I sourced it from (I know this is not the expectation but that's what most people do) but someone is seeing Eco now check account balance on the day of the decision of which I will no longer have the fund in that account on that day. Has anyone transferred out their funds before a decision was made and still got the visa?

Read about 10 or 15 pages back, your answer there
