I was able to schedule a TB test date for November 1 but I think its a bit late. I plan on going over to Ikeja tomorrow being thursday to book a date. Please what documents should I go with? Is there anyother information I should be aware of?

Nov is still Ok for a Jan resumption na, TB certificate is only valid for 6 months so weigh your options properly

2ndly, can 1 apply for visa without CAS?...ie he has started the CAS, but it is yet to be available

Your CAS is proof that you hold a valid unconditional offer from a UK institution and that Institution is standing as your visa sponsor, why will you want to apply without it?

Hmm, I can't say because I also had issues paying with my dollar card but that's an issue with my bank, however, I was able to get someone overseas to make the payment for me today.

You can try that option because time is ticking

And he has another Account for his business which has transaction history


Submitting the 2 statement of Account is it ok

Like I and others have said what matters is that you have the required funds as a lump for 28 consecutive days, transaction history whatever applies to other visas, a student visa is point-based.

Do you have the money? Yes or No, If yes (after confirmation by the officer), you get 10 points

Hello guys. Good morning. Please I need your advice as I am bit confused.
Lecture starts on 20th of September in my school.
In my visa application I filled my intended date to fly as 21st of August. Upon receiving my visa vignette I got a valid date from 14th of August. Meaning I can travel from 14th of August.
I had already bought a ticket for 18th of August. Meaning I’ll be arriving 2 days earlier than one month before my courses start.
So I want to ask, will I be allowed entry into the UK since I’m arriving earlier than the one month period they allow since my visa will already be valid by then?
Is there an implication of traveling before my intended travel date?
Will you suggest I modify my ticket to a later date? Please I need your advice

please, must the money in statement of account be 28days before using it for CAS application or once the money in the account covers the tuition, the statement of account can be use to get the CAS independent of 28days or not please I need people's response. thanks

Schools request for POF to make sure that you fulfill the financial requirements stated by UKVI, so yes, it has to be 28 days before you send to your university.

I filled my University as my accomodation address on my application form but fill another post code address for my BRP collection. Is this ok at all? A double check on my form now, I think i should have filled my uni post code but didn't occur to me before submission. I hope this won't affect my decision? Do I cancel and get refund at a later time( don't know if there's anything like that) and submit another form?

No need to cancel, as long as you can find the post office where you filled it's fine, Personally I also filled something similar (I used the school's postcode and searched for the nearest collection address) the reason most people are advised to use the school directly is that it's easier to collect it there considering the situation of the pandemic.

(2) my sponsor printed out his statement of Account From Eco bank which have not exceeded the limit required for my tuition and Maintenance for 1Month with no transaction history on it cos it’s a savings Account which the Money is intact for POF And I want to use it for my visa Application

(3)my sponsor also have another Account UBA he uses for his business which has enough Transaction history

Should I also upload that one, just to show there is transaction history but the Money have been going out and coming in daily

But the main Account is the Eco bank which is intact for 1Month and haven’t been touched at all

1. If you are selected for an Interview, Yes it is compulsory, but so far only a few people have had to do interviews. (This is for UKVI, I have no idea about university interviews as my school did not require it)

2. Rule states you should have held the required amount for 28 days, according to what has been reiterated here several (If you read page 1 and then start from page 600 downwards), it's not about transaction history it's about holding that required amount and making sure it doesn't fall below it during the 28 days period.

That being said, try to read page 1 of this thread and then start from any other page you feel is necessary, most of your questions will most likely have been answered on one of the pages.

Morocco is on the red list, the lay over in Morocco automatically means you'll have to pay £1700 pounds to quarantine when you get to the UK.

Thank God I was able to get my remaining dollar from BDC (Which was a hassle by the way) yesterday at 510, Imagine having to go to the bank and you are being told the only way they'll sell dollars to you is if you are requesting for PTA, I was so mad.

You can probably go for a correction at IOM if it's possible or just apply with the passport that was used for the TB test

Guys, take it from someone who has also come here for the first time to ask questions that would have been answered if I had done a little reading. When you first come to this thread, read page 1, I promise you, half of your questions would be answered, this would save you the time you are using to wait for replies and also give you some insights pending answers you will receive.

Yes, you pay 55 GBP to use the VI center whether walk-in or appointment.

use sites like findamasters etc with the price, country, and course filters as you have mentioned, look through the different universities from the results and make your decision.

You would have to return the sample to the nearest post to where you filled, and that is where your result would be returned to also this is if you use self swab. If you are required to come in for a test then your center will be dependent on the address you fill in.

Leaning towards cancelling and requesting for a refund, although a big pain in the butt at the moment.

Inform them of the error at TLS, I don't know if they can edit the form but you can probably write a letter explaining the error and upload it through assisted service (11,700 Naira) at the TLS center.

I am currently bias to UWE Bristol as a school but I wish the course is a mix of data science and analytics.
Is Data Science as lucrative as Data Analytics, note that the modules are almost similar but which looks better on CV in terms of job prospects.

From Doha to EDI

My question: Doha (Quarter ) is among the red listed country or so, does this have an effect for the fact I’m only landed at Doha due to my stopover flight. Moreover, I’m only waiting 4hours bfr my flight from Doha to EDI.
