As of today, a one way ticket is $426 from Lagos to London while BA is $778.
BA flight time is about 6hrs while Royal air maroc is 8hrs. Layover in Casablanca is 55 mins. So check again. Not saying I will use them, but people should have the available options depending on their financial situation

I have flown on many African airlines. Can't even remember all.

I will say Ethiopian and Kenya are probably your best bet but for the long ETA. They have the best aircraft, pilots, free wifi at terminals as well as where you can lay your body in case of a long layover.

Air Maroc is usually cheap (the prices are going up cos there are fewer unrestricted routes into the UK at the moment). Old aircraft, Horrible Airport Terminal (Nowhere to lay your head), smelly toilets like Muritala Muhammed IA, no wonder it's named King Mohammed Airport too. Shorter ETA for a transit route. Good for Luggage (up to 3 bags). Used to be the route to turn to when you are broke

Egypt Air is okay as well.

You can't fly Rwanda, SAA, Taag Angola out of Lagos to London.

My advice will be for you to fly BA. Amber countries might change to red countries before you fly.

Check BA from Abuja to Manchester or even Newcastle International, it is way cheaper than Abuja to London and Lagos to London

Which airline will be more advisable to use? as i will be going with family. i've only checked BA and i notice a surge within the period i intend to leave. Flights are actually cheaper in mid and late September. i would appreciate some advise on other flight options that will be stressfree.

1. Is it possible for UKVI to grant VISA two weeks before course start date without using priority bearing in mind that Standard takes 15 working days.

2. Is it possible to enter UK after the course start date but before the vignette date.

I have been busy and cannot respond to everyone on this issue. Many thanks to those who are genuinely interested in helping and those who are not.

So, I've had a meeting with the school immigration adviser and they advise that I should go for an administrative review but not until I asked UKVI for the document(s) that they deem not genuine. The representative also mentioned that she has never seen any refusal letter where the reason for refusal is omitted. Even though it may be pointing towards POF but better not to jump into conclusion as any document could render the POF inadmissible, such as a marriage certificate etc. Because it is inconclusive and they cannot categorically say this particular document is what they have a problem with, there is a need for me to ask them for further information. I was give some things to aid in my request and all. The school is also going to come in at some point if the request is taken too long. Anyway, I will update you guys once I have further information to provide.

The course starts on the 18th of October 2021.

The course is a part time...(2 years)

1) Please if I apply for a student visa in mid August (when my 28 days POF will expire) will I be able to get visa on or before 18th October 2021? If yes what will I do to fast track the process ?


2) Does the UK embassy approve Part time courses for Nigerians?

3) What are my chance of getting the visa?

Can their proof of fund start counting now or should we wait until my visa comes out?

During my application, should I put that I am traveling with them? or should I put no as it's only my Pof that's in my account, my husband will be using his to process for his and the kids
