Tomek09: She's lucky to not have entered menopause at 50. Congratulations Ma. During most menstrual cycles, one of your eggs ripens and is released from an ovary (ovulation) in preparation for fertilization. However, the decline in the number of your eggs (also called ‘ovarian reserve’) continues faster than that, and from the time you start your periods approximately 1,000 eggs are destined to die each month. Over the course of a lifetime your ovaries will release about 500 eggs in their mature form. When the supply of eggs runs out, your ovaries cease to make estrogen, and you will go through the menopause. For most women this happens around the age of 50: the average age in the developed world is 51.4 years1. From this point onwards you will no longer be able to get pregnant naturally. |

You don't know shit! Fertility in the Aging Female A woman’s best reproductive years are in her 20s. Fertility gradually declines in the 30s, particularly after age 35. Each month that she tries, a healthy, fertile 30-year-old woman has a 20% chance of getting pregnant. That means that for every 100 fertile 30-year-old women trying to get pregnant in 1 cycle, 20 will be successful and the other 80 will have to try again. By age 40, a woman’s chance is less than 5% per cycle, so fewer than 5 out of every 100 women are expected to be successful each month. Women do not remain fertile until menopause. The average age for menopause is 51, but most women become unable to have a successful pregnancy sometime in their mid-40s. These percentages are true for natural conception as well as conception using fertility treatment, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). Although stories in the news media may lead women and their partners to believe that they will be to able use fertility treatments such as IVF to get pregnant, a woman’s age affects the success rates of infertility treatments. The age-related loss of female fertility happens because both the quality and the quantity of eggs gradually decline. You don't know sh*t either |

Odidigboigbo: One of my kindred, a peasant farmer in the village gave birth at 54. In fact, the last baby he had was 14 years before she gave birth to this particular one. For your information, IVF have less than 30% rate of success, is not what you just work in and come out with a result. There are a lot of people that has done it couple of times without success. Even if is IVF, you still need to appreciate God because many have done it without result. For a woman above 45 years of age it is 2% to conceive with her own natural eggs. For an over 50 year old woman is 1%. Anyway miracles happen everyday that is why we are still praying for a messaih to save Nigeria |

Now to answer your question: It's simply because I always apply a strategy with every TRADE/INVESTMENT SETUP.
Not for want of not knowing why you asked, but at least I have answered you.
Btw, did you say you bought @N21? You probably had a long-term mindset then. Anyway, if we discount the then special div and subsequent dividend accruals you've accumulated since then, your BEP should reverse that figure to N12+ I guess.
Good you've decided to wait it out. Good luck! |

onegentleguy: As expected, ECOBANK delivered! ECO was always a hold from the range of N3.90 to N4+ I remember advising some folks to HOLD! Coy already delivered near 100%/2x from price average at the time.
However, while the banks latest report is good, I'd prefer to be cautiously optimistic given the Nos I see now. I'd also like to see their YE report for better inference.
Elsewhere, FBNH flopped in its latest Q3 report. For emphasis, some lines does point to a few red flags but there are also a few positives. That said, I would not align with FBNH at the present mkt price. A trade set-up that borders around a 21.7 to 38.1% discount from current mkt peg, subject to mkt dynamics should be a better deal though. (RRM from FVE in view)

adrusa: Well, as I did on Felicity Lithium Battery, I have decided to answer my own question again.
I finally braved the odds and bought this battery, the 15Kwh version once advertised here by @justcallmanuel.
And the immediate experience is good. I charged it fully and did a capacity test. The battery can be discharged to 46V according to the instructions that came with it. However, because I was in a hurry and loaded it (AC, water pump and water heater, not simultaneously), my inverter cut off at 47.2V or thereabout after the battery has given me about 12.5Kwh/250AH. I believe that if I have the time to trickle discharge it with reasonable load, I may be able to get the rated 15Kwh/300AH from it.
I also opened up the battery to see the cells. The cells are unlike the regular cells we are family with. It is longer, twice the usual size and have positive and negative terminals on the opposing ends instead of being on only one side. My immediate thought is that it may be the cells used in electric vehicles.
The display on it is dumb. It is just a digital voltmeter connected to the battery terminals, so the SOC displayed is 100% unreliable.
The BMS is also dumb and looks like a BMS from Aliexpress, though there is no name on it for identification and it is heavily gummed down.
The whole package looks well built and I think it is a good buy at the price. It would have been very helpful if they had used a smart BMS, but I guess they have their reasons for their decisions.
Recommendation? Buy, if that is your sort of thing. Nice review. what is the price? |
