FEGEITOK: For anyone wondering if the actions described constitute online mobbing aka mob action, here is some reading for you and some questions as well:
1. What is a mob?
2. Is one person or mob or is a mob a collection of people?
3. What does a mob do?
4. Can mob action be offline only? If no
5. Can mob action be online?
6. What drives mob action?
7. Do mob actions necessarily follow established legal rules for problem resolutions? If no
8. Is it not true that mobs have a mind of their own and that in the pursuit of such objectives they may inadvertently cross legal red lines?
9. Can mob action result in good or bad?
10. Does the end always justify the means?
You will understand my position if and when someone successfully brings an action on harassment, that actions have consequences.
I will not repeat my position on the contractual dispute, it was stated previously and I have no reason to restate, that said, I just wanted to point it what is happening for what it is.
It is no different from what the local government thugs or motor park thugs do.
The only difference is that is online. Distraction and Deflection that has been the trend and that is why were are here now. Stopthecap: For the record. I do not support mob action of any kind on this forum. I understand and it was Just a sarcastic reference to poster since poster is calling it "mob action" on calling out a record of misrepresentation and and deceit for more than 10 years by an identified building contractor (Bosun Davies Shoyeye) with loses of million gone down the drain. |

Stopthecap: Nice try. I was not sure you were referring to my posts, but now that it is confirmed,
Yes. You did pass judgement. You called it mob action.
1.You described the posts as "mob action" not "flash mob". I am sure you know they are 2 different things and mob action is a criminal offence. Also my posts are not "flash mob" like you claim . Read the definition again
2. I have never called for the silencing of any member of this forum. This is an open forum and I always encourage discussion. If the fraudster builder want to continue to advertise here, other forum members have the right to make his record clear for new members.
The client reviews and testimonies speak for themselves
3. I believe if someone has
a Questionable ethical behavior, b. Not a professional but claims to be one. c Insults and abuses clients d. Publishes clients private information in a public forum e. Has SEVERAL CREDIBLE CLAIMS of theft, diversion of funds, financial misappropriation against them f. Colluded and attempted to collude with insiders/family members to defraud a client g. Other dubious conduct too numerous to name
I will give such a person a very wide berth That is just my opinion
IMO giving any sense of credibility to the resident fraudster does a disservice to the purpose of this thread and the newcomers who may be ensnared.
...maybe I have a different way of seeing things Gbam Nobody can intimidate anyone into silence. Better let everyone face his own lane. |

n3xt: There’s are few things we can’t discuss on this platform when it comes to wireless security.
Here’s a piece of advice to homeowners:
1. Always run your network on uninterruptible power supply. 2. Use POE switch to maintain uptime on all device in event of power failure. No be POE switch go provide backup power o 3. Install some Dummy Security Cameras to create a false sense of security in some areas. 4. Instead of manually provisioning your devices for network connectivity use cloud-based solutions that can push your settings to end-user devices without human interference. I mean each device on the network download their configurations directly from the cloud. There are several solutions that provide unified management of your devices - no matter how many thousand - from a single dashboard. 5. Stop using the cheap and common devices. 6. If possible DIY your install. Gbogbo aso ko la nsa l’orun. No be all clothe dem dey spread for sun.
For those who don’t know, before HIVs, there are malwares.
Anytime you see those funny pop ups on your system, one or more device on your network may have been affected and the hacker can configure it as a host and use your WIFI network to reach other devices. If you think it’s nothing, be careful you don’t make huge transfer to a wrong website due to website redirects.

I did +/- I realize he’d only require a little more than his budget to get a carcass of his proposed development in Ìbàdàn.
If we (through Govt Affordable Housing Project) can deliver carcass of 2 unit of 2 bed (expandable to 3 bed) with 5.5m in 2020, now 7m (Contractor’s profit and other things included), I’m confident he can have something good at N3.5m but he has to handle it like an average man left with no option. Dorwadora: Good evening my Romancelanders and Nairalanders. I hope y'all been having a good day?
Here's the thing.
Due to the ASUU strike I decided to get a job around my school instead of going home because Ekiti has become home for me. I resumed work on Monday, that's 6 days ago. I and my boss have not been having any issue. He gives the command and I get the work done but recently he has been giving me his home key to go and cook for him. The first time I was surprised because giving your house key to someone you barely know is a bit weird to me but since Monday that I've started the work, I've been to his house 4 times cooking stew or vegetable soup. I'm there right now frying meats.
I am seriously not comfortable with the arrangement but I can't say no because I really need to keep the job and save up. He's married but his wife is not staying with him and cooking and cleaning is the job of a wife not a staff.
Please house how can I stop this whole charade without losing the job?
Lalasticala Myndd44 Dominique The questions are as follows: 1. Would you still cook if his wife/family are around? 2. Does his wife know you are cooking for him? 3. If she knows is she ok with it? 4. If you were married and a single junior of your husband was cooking for him at home like you are now would you be ok with it?Answer these questions truthfully and you would know how to proceed. All the best |

n3xt: Yes it’s part of the Contract. That’s why I’m wondering why you had to request for another quote amidst the contract for electrical pipe works. It wasn’t as if we negotiated each stage of work separately. It was a turnkey project.
I never had to review my contract with you but you came with option quotes for the electrical pipe works and chose the least bid submitted by the subcontractors contacted.
The job was awarded to the contractor with the least bid.
Am I supposed to sound stupid?
Noted but I’m not the one who had to review a quote vetted by a QS amidst a project and chose to accept the least bid.

n3xt: I’ve seen electrical. What about plumbing?
I believe we’ve moved on but if it won’t be an issue, I can still get an electrician to fish those pipes and get cables installed in them without worries at no cost to anyone.
Structured cabling is my major before I get into construction and I’ve worked on even far more complex situations.
Meanwhile, the client had a premium quote from top electrical contractor here (recommended by me) but chose to go with the cheapest in the market. I believe he has his own reasons
Fortunately for me, apart from steel trusses which was a variation item, the electrical work is the only part of my work that option quotes were sourced from subcontractors and picked based on clients approval.
Abi I lie?

Here’s a picture of limestone waste used on my driveway.
If you look at pic 1, you’d see standing water and a dry land. The dry land part is my side. No matter how heavy the rain, my driveway doesn’t get soaked or soggy.

n3xt: I raised a similar concern 2 days ago when someone shared an alternative septic tank solution but I got no response.
I know people are quick to jump on solutions that are not only cheap but quicker to execute without considering the downsides of such solution.
__________
I’ve seen the havoc such undirected waste waters can do on buildings when left unattended. As a matter of fact, I have a very good case study of such issue on this platform.
I had a similar issue on my personal build but I did all my best to ensure waste water (from my compound or that of neighbors) doesn’t percolate around my property and I’d never had to worry about water issues regardless of how terrible the situation might be. I used limestone waste to sandfill my driveway and perimeter. I’ll try do a video during any heavy rain to show you how heavy flood are diverted from my property.
My advice for you is to stop the water before it stops you. Ensure you redirect the waste wasters far away from your property (at least 100m away) even if it means you’d do drainage for your neighbor or running underground pipes to a safer level for proposal disposal of the waste waters.
I do hope the professionals and septic tank contractors would be here to recommend a more pragmatic approach to solving this type of problem.
Regards.
