dashpee: Plateau PDP State Campaign Council Media and Publicity Committee
PRESS STATEMENT
*TRYING TO WIN BEFORE THE CONTEST EVEN BEGINS!*
The Plateau PDP State Campaign Council wishes to unveil before the people of Plateau the latest absolutely desperate connivance of some officials of INEC in Plateau and the APC to declare Governor Lalong and the APC winners of the Saturday March 9, governorship and House of Assembly elections.
Information available to us indicates the attempt by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) to keep in his custody several cartons of result sheets which had been taken out of CBN in the absence of other political parties.
A very close staff to the Resident Electoral Commissioner has been been accused of complicity in the plan.
This consignment was intercepted by the police team attached to INEC.
The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede has effectively taken charge of this matter – and should be diligently pursued it to its logical conclusion.
The Plateau PDP State Campaign Council commends the CP for his alertness and rising to this threatening situation.
However, while the Council recognises the right of the Commissioner of Police to reorganize staff under his command, the sudden swapping of DPOs in the 17 LGAs one day before the election gives the impression that it is meant to aid the governor in his rigging plans.
We also condemn the recruitment and training of new Collation Officers by INEC on the eve of the election.
We have been informed that certain Plateau ethnic groups have been dropped and replaced by other ethnic groups approved personally by the governor.
This is one more step in setting Plateau against itself. It proves the fact often stressed by the Council that Governor Lalong is incapable of adequately managing the ethnic diversity of Plateau - and that is why they will definitely vote him out on Saturday!
The Council condemns the flagrant abuse of the system by the electoral umpire that seeks to compromise the whole election.
No wonder, the APC and it’s candidate have been showing alot of confidence that they are as good as having won the election.
The boasting has been such that Sunday morning has been set as the time to declare Lalong as re-elected.
But they should know that the governorship election is not a local government election during which the state electoral body simply declared results to favour the governor's selected candidates while collation was stiill going on.
Plateau people will resist this contemptuous plan.
We appeal to the good people of Plateau to remain alert at all times because the APC, some few people in INEC, the Plateau State Government and Governor are determined to subvert the will and destiny of Plateau.
We appeal to PDP stakeholders, supporters and members to go out boldly and confidently on March 9, to cast their votes.
They should stand firm to defend their votes. This is a Plateau matter and not that of PDP alone.

Saipro: Your battery is probably beyond salvage. However, best practices vary. Kindly supply more info to help forestall a recurrence - battery make - absorb voltage - duration of absorb - float voltage - did you remember to disable automatic equalisation? (many CC have it on auto) - brand of desulphator - any other relevant information you might wish to offer in addition call the supplier to make good on warranty as was surely promised you before money changed hands.,but dont hold your breath as it is now you will know that speaking English and understanding English are 2 different things |

earthrealm: @braaad. Chk the charging voltage setpoints on ur inverter and cc...and confirm it corresponds to kung long. I hv 8 pieces of kung long .not so impressed with its performance..but still working ok. When fully charged at night i tested a 1.5hp ac for 60mins and the voltage didnt go below 50.8v
I wud suggest you install the led voltage display to each battery and observe .then load the system with a 1kw or 1.5kw load and observe the individual batt voltages again... I suspect you may have 1 or 2 bad batts in the bank...also xchk for a loose batt connection
If i cud turn back time...i would hv gone for the quanta batts the Kung Long battery seems to be a over hyped low quality battery as a friend's own started giving him poor performance after about 9 months of use |

iGISTMORE: Nigerian singer, Morachi has revealed that he strongly believes it is only Nigerians who have taken online begging as a major goal. According to him, a high percentage of Nigerians including the ones in the middle class social status have formed the embarrasing habit which other neighbouring countries might soon adapt Posting the screenshot on his IG page, Morachi wrote...
”Only Nigerians do this & soon might start to infect other Neighboring countries in africa with this deadly virus ? ….a lot of other African countries experience hardship just like Nigeria but whatever support they give to their artistes is truly genuine from their heart & they expect nothing in return…but in the recent day Nigeria fans might not want to listen to a good song except you do give Away’s & song challenge & after the give Away’s & song challenge the songs still don’t make it to the top….i don’t know how we got to this place but i am going to predict something right here and right now & that is, if we continue this way then i foresee serious danger & damage that might be hard to repair….I don’t care who gets offended by this, we hate the truth & i really can’t be bothered….few years from now when the damage is done some of y’all might remember morachi made a post regarding this situation…so until then let’s all pretend like it’s all good when it’s not & keep up with the suffering and smiling ??

NiyiOmoIyunade: Please I am looking for a manual battery disconnect switch (not DC breaker) similar to the popular Blue Sea Systems but perhaps more robust.
The idea is to be able to flip/turn a lever and isolate an inverter or CC from the battery bank for maintenance without having to unscrew any cable from battery post or busbar
Someone is advicing me to use a large AC changeover (plenty copper) but I believe there has to be a more elegant way.
I don't want to use those red Blue Sea Systems disconnect switches because I have found them prone to failure How about this one? In use for over 2 years and no issues

Family › Re: My Sister Is Crying Inconsolably After Giving Birth. Please Help! by DUNKA(m): 5:07am On Dec 16, 2018 |
DrFlora: There's this my sister that has two female children
She took in for her third child but refused to go for scan. Few days to her delivery time, she finally accepted to do the scan.
The result of the scan showed that she is carrying a girl. This is where the problem started. She started crying, calling everybody and weeping heavily.
When she first called my other sister, she thought maybe, she has lost the baby.
It was when I listened closely to the crying voice of my sister that I understood what actually happened. I had to call my other sister to tell her the true reason my sister is crying.
Fast forward to few weeks later, my sister became due for delivery but she refused to go to hospital.
The pregnancy water came out of her body but she still stayed at home, the blood which is the last stage before the baby comes out also came out of her body while she was still at home.
It is not until the baby stopped making movement that she had to visit the hospital.
When she got there, the baby was already weak and the doctor said that any further delay could have seen the baby dead in the womb.
My sister wanted to rush home immediately after giving birth. It was the doctor that forced her to stay for an additional day to ascertain the condition of her health and that of the baby.
She went home the next day without telling anybody that she has given birth. Not until the husband came home (he wasn't around the day she delivered).
Three days after, the husband started calling all of us (her siblings) to please call my sister and ask her what the problem is.
You will not believe that my sister is still crying inconsolably.
As I type this, I am feeling hurt and pity for the poor innocent child that came out to this world to meet a mother that spites her simply because she is a girl.
My sister as I type, has refused to pick our calls. I didn't know people will still think and behave this way in 2018.
Please, is it normal for a mother of a newborn baby to be crying profusely, simply because she has given birth to three girls?
Our fear is that she might hurt that baby as she has demonstrated during the late pregnancy stage when she was due to deliver.
Please, any suggestions on how to make her come back to her senses and know that children are from God?
Please, I need your contributions Probably the pressure from the husbands family for a male child. She needs counseling as she is psychological scarred. She should be happy as some women cannot even give birth and would give the world just to even have 1 girl. |

But just to seek knowledge and ensure that all claims are put in their proper perspective, lest the readers be misinformed or deceived. I know its advisable to use similar batts..but as it is now..am contemplating taking the risk. What do u guys think?? Why don't you just bite the bullet now and change out your battery bank altogether? I know it is expensive but it will be cheaper in the long run |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by DUNKA(m): 7:28am On Dec 04, 2018 |
NiyiOmoIyunade: Interesting ideas about which battery in the bank is good or bad - you could be right but I can't agree because you have balancers attached and electricity always follows the path of least resistance - except your cabling is faulty or poorly crimped, I see no reason why one battery would be stingy and hold on to it's stored up charge allowing others to suffer - each battery will give up all it is asked whenever the load calls for it subject to the battery's capacity - If the battery is prematurely spent vs. the others, that is when the other batteries would take up the burden and begin to suffer - therefore the battery with lowest voltage under load is typically the weak/bad one
Neways, the only way to know for sure is to charge all batteries back to full individually and then run them down with a known wattage load individually as well. You will have an idea the Judases based on how they individually respond to charge and discharge - this test can only be done individually please (charge and discharge individually) no shortcuts!
So you had KungLong batteries? I am even more worried now as I have clients who are significantly exposed. Chai
Can you give an idea of your battery config - nominal voltage, number of series and/or parallel connections, absorb and float voltage e.t.c Seems Kung Long is not as durable as been advertised. Seems to have a high rate of bank failure within 1 year of installation. |
