37-year-old Kelechi Okamgba, a Port Harcourt based nurse, has been arrested for preying on pregnant young ladies, by housing them till delivery and facilitating the sale of their babies. .

Her game for which she takes a cut of between N70,000 and N80,000 however came to an end on March 19, men of the Rumuolumeni Police Station, stormed her ‘baby factory’. .

At the end of the operation, five ladies, including four pregnant girls, were arrested. The pregnant girls were: Obianuju Nze (22), Chinemerum Orji (18), Josephine Chimena (33) and Chidinma Ndukwe (17). .

Okamgba, from Obioma-Ngwa in Abia State, said: “The women, some of their boyfriends bring them. They (boyfriends) find and negotiate the baby buyer themselves. The buyer(s), at the delivery of the baby, will settle them. .

I, will then give them bill for feeding, accommodation and treatment. That is the reason they are under my care”. The suspect who pleaded for leniency, further disclosed that the recent baby sold in February, was given out at N350,000. .

One of the pregnant young girls, who gave her name as Gift Festus said: “My boyfriend brought me here. He said if I put to bed, someone will come for the baby who will take care of the baby. My elder sister is aware of the development.

A young man was dealt with after a failed rape attempt in Lagos state. According to reports, the guy who happens to be the meat delivery man tried to rape an eleven year old girl when he thought no one was at home. The little girl's screams alerted her uncle who rushed to behold a shocking sight as the suspect had already torn the girl's top while trying to rape her.

As expected, the suspect was overpowered and given an unforgettable beating which left him seriously injured with blood gushing out from his nose.

According to reports, the man was later handed over to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, for further 'investigation'.

The girl's uncle took to Facebook to share pictures of the man's face after the whole saga. Below is what he wrote;

My siblings just came back home. They were on their way back to church and caught in the cross fire, close to Zenith bank.

According to them, no military force confronted the robbers throughout the operation. They used dynamites and crazy guns.

They saw four people killed. And they would have been killed because after they finished the operation few of them opinned that they should release gun fire on them (my siblings and those close to them), but a man who seemed to be the boss told them they have little time left and had no option than to exit immediately.

Cars were burnt. Cars stolen.

They exited through Igosun route.

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has secured another conviction as 23-year-old Esther Ita Udoakang gets sentenced to two years imprisonment for child trafficking.



The suspect pleaded guilty to a one count charge of selling a day-old baby to one Princess Tonymass, who is still at large; an act which is contrary to Section 21 of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act 2015.



Delivering the judgment at the Federal High Court, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the presiding Judge, Justice M. I. Sanni frowned against such an act and subsequently sentenced her to 2 years imprisonment with an option of a fine to the tune of N400,000.00 (four hundred thousand naira, only).



Reacting to the Judgment, the Director-General of NAPTIP, Dame Julie Okah-Donli commended the investigators and prosecutors for a job well-done.

.You don't have to worry again about your pics because almost every Android phone has this Google drive storage that allows you backup your photos,videos and plenty other things in your Phone automatically.All you need do is just to have a Gmail account,and you are good to go.Always keep your data on.Since I discovered this, I don't worry especially about my photos Incase of my phone lost or damage,whenever I get a new phone,i login to my Gmail account with my new phone,then my old pictures from my old phone comes back effortlessly.

Wow!! I feel like I'm dreaming but this is reality. I'm so dumbfounded, I can barely speak. Last year, I scored 270 in thr UTME but the University of Ilorin didn't deem me fit to study Medicine as I was offered Home Economics. This really got to me, I remember crying all day long but today, God has put smiles on my face.
Finally, after a second attempt at UTME, I scored 323!!!! I'm so happy.
With this score, I know nothing is stopping me from being admitted to study Radiography at UNN.
