Talk about being tribalistic. How many votes did Buhari get from the SS/SE combined, as compared to the votes Jonathan got from the NE alone? Go and collate it, then come back here and tell me where tribalism really lies. Nonsense. |

We are hearing some worrying news right now, so no one knows what will happen. Some Returning Officers from Bauchi, Adamawa, Delta, Zamfara and others are alleged to be in the custody of the security agents, being coerced to manipulate the votes. GEJ is desperate, and he will do anything to win. I only fear for what might follow if they should manipulate the votes. May God Help us. |

Fellow Progressives, Given the results from Akwa Ibom and Rivers state, and possibly another over bloated one from Cross River, is it still possible to upturn them in the North? Also, considering the low results we have seen so far from the core North besides Kano and Katsina. |

To be honest, I'm not too optimistic anymore, giving the votes from Rivers state. Only God knows what numbers they are cooking up from Akwa Ibom, Cross River and other state. |

Ngwakwe: My version of Democracy in Nigeria is now beyond the Pale
I wish to congratulate the president-elect, Mohammed Buharia for his success in 2015 presidential election after a fourth consecutive attempt and by extension the All Progress Congress for winning the House of Representatives.
I wish them success as they pilot the affairs of the nation in the next four years.
I pledge my support as a Statesman and would never be found wanting in commending any good step taken to restructure and deepen our democracy in the same way I will criticise constructively any anti people policy.
Once again, congratulations. I want an honest opinion from you. How makes you think he has won? |
