iliyande:I wouldn't know why one would need three SIMs, but I use the same Glo SIM for both normal and weekend subs... the weekend sub actually pauses any pre-existing normal sub during the weekend, so one can safely use the weekend sub during the weekend, thereby preserving any pre-existing normal sub until the weekend is over. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
iliyande:Ah, this is another dimension, and sure, that's fair enough. For that dimension you've brought up, in my own case, I don't fancy leaving any balance from my data in the hands of a provider - anything can happen! In any case, I have a need for lots of data; IMO, that's why we're talking "unlimited" plans, to start with. Again, I see your own point. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
minniekennie:Sorry, but you've lost me here... Glo's packages are NOT unlimited, and cut you off completely from access to any more data, once you attain the allotted bundles. Finish. Shikenan. ![]() On the other hand, Airtel's 'unlimited' packages allow you to continue to have access to more data even after you've exhausted the main allotted bundle, provided you can live with a severely reduced access speed, until through the last day of your plan. So, apart from the LTE speeds attainable on Glo (and attained speeds on Airtel are pretty good in most areas, by the way,) how do Glo's packages offer better value amongst the two based on your presentation? ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
mikron:In your experience and area, what are the maximum download and upload speeds obtainable and sustainable on the ntel advanced unlimited packages? Kindly state which particular package(s) you're on, and whether or not the service has been rock solid? Your response may just influence my decisions on ntel subscriptions moving forward. TIA. (I've been on the regular N12.5k monthly unlimited bundle; the service had gone off for more than a week in my crib. The service was extremely irregular and essentially unusable long before it went off, anyways. However, it got restored two days ago, and so far has sustained the d/l speed now capped for the plan - about 1.3MB/s, which is about 10mb/s.) ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Lexusgs430:Methinks it simply means your complaint has actually not been treated/reproduced - yet. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
fibonacci2526:My pleasure, bro. Enjoy. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
fibonacci2526:LOL; Well, I used to have that mindset, until other early adopters (such as dustmalik) on this forum, pointed out that Band 28 has about the best wall/barrier penetration qualities of all the LTE Bands adopted for use in Nigeria, followed, in my own opinion, by Band 8. And in a country where signal strength is mostly at a premium, that factor seemed a no-brainer to me... I quickly latched on and grabbed Glo's 4G MiFi while it was on a promotion for ₦5k — best investment I've ever made on Glo! Most users — including yours truly — are reporting solid performance on Glo's LTE band every where. I get on it a solid ~ 16-23mb/s (about 2-4MB/s) and about 95% uptime (by my estimation) virtually every where in my crib. So, there you are, Glo actually got this one right, and is handling it well this far. Of course, Glo's 3G is still crap in my own zone as well, but thank heavens I don't have to deal with that anymore/whenever I have the option of Band 28. Just to be clear, MTN's 4G services still beats Glo's for speed, but Glo's is better in terms of signal penetration and therefore quality. (I use both.) (There were some recent reports [which I have not personally verified,] that MTN might have switched off its 4G services in several parts of the country outside Lagos. The service is still solid for me in Lagos. Just thought to throw this bit on MTN in here.) ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
After a service outage over the last one week or so, ntel services returned to my crib along the Lekki axis yesternight (intermittent) and through today so far (rock steady.) The steady D/L is just about 10mb/s (attached) but, hey, I'll take it, especially as it's in line with the new D/L speed policy, and provided it remains rock steady. (I had exchanged quite a couple of email messages with the ntel help desk a couple of days ago.) I'm on the N12.5k monthly limitless plan. ![]() Good luck, crew! ........ P34c3 ..... ...

Lexusgs430:This your post triggered so much laughter in me ehn... ![]() ![]() ![]() But you sef, just put your "face" on the "screen" and ROM them into the "UI," then show us the combination na, haba! lonelydora:What's the problem with you my people, for God's sake? Buhari is NOT the one ruling at the moment; as prescribed by the constitution, Osinbajo has, and is executing full presidential power, and Buhari should have nothing to do with real governance until he again notifies the NASS that he has resumed as President.. Why don't you accept that? Why this much stress on yourselves? I tire o! ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
oodua1stson:Poor you, may be the pictures already posted look too good to have also included the face... But seriously speaking, in the pictures posted by Lexusgs430 of his own copy of the phone as unboxed, the front/face is the one in black, the back is the one in red. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Martux100:MTN issues a couple of them MiFi's; which one in particular? Smile uses Band 20, so you could also google whether or not the particular MiFi you have in mind supports 20. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

Lexusgs430:LOL at your 4G icon sound bite, Otherwise I believe this thread is at the verge of a treat from you. Well done so far......... P34c3 ..... ... |
hodonuu:You're too assuming at every turn, and so quarrelsome... So, you and only you get to define/determine what's meaningful to say? Just carry your wahala go. You're now on my ignore list, just like was done to your other fellow troll. Bye. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
hodonuu: ![]() God bless 4llerbuntu — and the likes (no pun.) ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
4llerbuntu:This is reference material. Thanks for posting, because some of these nuances can be missed by some of us — including myself — who tend to think we're some sort of quasi geeks. ![]() ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
olurotimi1:I tire. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
hodonuu:"Customized" firmware? Maybe. BTW, mine is also a Spectranet-branded E5372s-601 which I unlocked myself using codes yanked free off the Web, so you were almost misrepresenting my situation as well, but, notin spoil sha. Good luck. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Stanley08:Lol, your answers are sufficient in your case, thanks. (BTW, your answers too much too — I already saw/stated it was Spectranet na.) ![]() ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

...Nothing like abuse. Unlimited is Unlimited. I will get angry if i pay for unlimited and can't download 500GB in one day.Stanley08; Is your current plan on Spectranet - from which you displayed that ~5MB/s screen shot - truly unlimited? Whether or not it is, which plan, and what time of day, was it? Any appreciable deviation from that speed during the other half of the day? (I think your response will influence my own next set of data plans.) ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
hodonuu:I think you've totally misunderstood 4llerbuntu, LOL. He's always maintained his own E5372 has never been blocked (same here, BTW.) He was just reiterating his earlier posts/point that his has never come up blocked. All he's been saying as well, is that he's been suffering from a terrible snail speed performance on ntel in his crib, and that the situation has not abated. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
eagleeye2:You typed it that way more than once in the same statement, but, I take your word for it. Thanks for posting. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
sunnyb0b0:I fully agree with the first part of your statement (assuming you mean, "tried..." ![]() The second paragraph, however, doesn't seem to have a link to Diezani or the thread? ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
eagleeye2:I honestly don't understand you... can a single person be "Igbos," anyway? ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
mars123:Not so fast, I think; those who support her come-what-may may soon show face — here and/or elsewhere. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Okoroawusa:Beats me. As some fair-minded commentators already saw during her reign, though, the signs of who she really was were always there, as she defied every legislative oversight and judicial scrutiny, because she was under the complete protection of President Jonathan. Make of it what you may, but I thought the same sort of paradigm shift was beginning to manifest itself under President Buhari at the time the currently suspended SGF Lawal was essentially thumping his nose at legislative efforts at scrutinizing how he was handling public funds and contracts. Hmm. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
