Daviddson:Some of the media houses you mentioned have now also published IBB's denial. In fact, TheNation has just published the denial in full. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
bilms:Yeah, this is more like the Ibrahim "Maradona" Babangida that we know! ![]() ![]() ![]() ........ P34c3 .... ... |
Sagamite:Aha, it's a trolling bully! I refuse to feed it any further; it's now totally ignored. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
CharleyBright:I'm not given to emotions, and I honestly wouldn't know why you feel so superior to, or what you mean by, "the north." Furthermore, I wouldn't know how you'll ever come to the conclusion Aisha would want her husband replaced by his party at this point or for the 2019 elections? Having said that, I'm afraid you're running away from facing the real question: Who has the potential of defeating Buhari at this point in our political climate? It's not a question of whether or not we have another person out of 180 million of our people. The question is, let him/her show up or be identified and hit the ground running already! Even the now rag-tag APC took about two years as a fused party — along with the "good" fortune that the then ruling PDP had a damaging breakup — to become somewhat solid enough and come to power over an incumbent. And here we are, (i) just one year to the next election already, (ii) the ruling party is not showing any serious signs of breaking up, and (iii) there's no viable opposition — including Mr. Obasanjo's CN — in sight, and some people are hoping for a miracle to throw forth a candidate that will defeat the APC candidate? Sorry, I honestly don't believe in such miracles. That's the logic. Hopefully something proves it wrong for the sake of those amongst us who would consider it "poo," and who see the majority of actual voters only in themselves or their own images. Good luck, everyone! ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Sagamite:In my post which you originally reacted to, all I said was that Obasanjo's latest "CN" idea was a "CoN," and Obasanjo a "Con-man" as a result. If that was not what you thought you were reacting to, then I don't know what else to say. In the meantime, I'm happy to no longer tangle with you on this issue, and so carry my own cross alone. Good luck! ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

UncleJudax:Even as things stand, who are you looking to put on a party primary or any ballot againt Buhari between now and February, 2019, and is likely to defeat Buhari? ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

seunmsg:Whoa...this is so succinct! ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Sagamite:If your profiling me as an "Amala strategist" for identifying Obasanjo's purported suggestion as being unrealistic makes you feel like a superior thinker, good for you. Those who do the actual voting (outside social media, which section is miniscle in terms of the actual ballot-casting population, anyways,) will speak to Obasanjo when next they have a chance - in February, 2019. 'Nuf said. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Obasanjo has identified a lot of our problems, like most minds have always done. Unfortunately, Obasanjo has not provided any viable or real world alternatives or solutions! Coalition for Nigeria ko, CoN ni — a real con man. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Floyd45:Well, depending on the firmware involved, some of these devices are known to get re-locked or misbehave when their firmwares are "upgraded" after the device had been unlocked previously. Sometimes, such an upgrade by the user is done unknowingly, mainly because the modem interface defaults to "Upgrade firmware" when switched on and there is a pending upgrade available. I suspect you may have to unlock that device again, or downgrade/upgrade/change its firmware? Good luck. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Lucky you, toluxa1. In my crib, about 1.3MB/s max is currently the order of the day on Glo. BTW, come to think of it...it now sounds like fantasy that ntel was consistently delivering about 13MB/s in the same crib up until about one year ago! Hmm. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
This Shehu Sani of a man cleverly diverts people's attention from the fact that he's one of the 108 senators collecting several millions of Naira every month from the nation's coffers without doing anything tangible, thereby further pauperizing his fellow countrymen, yet people follow him gullibly? SMH. Why doesn't Shehu Sani just leave the comfort of the Senate behind, and be a true, less hypocritical activist? ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Floyd45:Has it ever shown network reception on any SIM since it was unlocked? If no, the unlocking was probably done incorrectly or incomplete. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

So, governor El-Rufai's policy and position prevail, after all. That's good for the children of Kaduna state, and kudos to the state's NUT for the new show of support for the governor's policy. It's a benevolent thing, as well, that the government will give the unqualified, sacked teachers a second chance at getting employed; this the government will do by opening another door for such teachers to undergo a continuous education program. Those who thus become properly certified can then apply for re-employment. This has been a win-win for Kaduna. ........ P34c3 ..... |
Redhot111:I never said anyone insulted anyone, so please don't make things up, or take yourself or anyone else too seriously. From the Urban Dictionary: . 3BTW, anyone who posts on a public forum cannot get to choose who can or cannot quote him/her. That's some wisdom we all get to recognize and bow to, sooner or later. Good luck! ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
4llerbuntu:You're right... I also don't believe there's currently a way to specify the use of a particular band on any of these mainstream modems/Mi-Fi's. I was just hoping that band 8 was there. At least the device would fall back on it in case ntel goes down on band 3 in one's area, which it certainly does — ad infinitum. But I'll readily use my phone on band 8 as a hotspot from time to time, unless I experience severe cases of overheating, for instance. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
wane01:I wasn't bluffing... Read the last three pages or so, and you'll see the testimonies (some positive, others negative) from those who are currently subscribed to ntel services. Like with most other networks, quality of service depends on your area. My apologies you took such a defensive view of my suggestion. Good luck. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
wane01:Look up a couple of posts, just before yours, made as recently as yesterday or the day before, for guidance. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
jboy01:Do post the actual link(s) as well...that will be really helpful. (On a separate note, I always thought this 606 has Band 8 as well? Hmm. Band 8 is the better of ntel's two bands, I believe.) ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Apina:In this case, I believe you didn't understand or apply the new rules, especially following your abandoning the line for so long. Glo's new rules have been all over the place for several months now. Seek out and properly apply Glo's current subscription rules, and you'll receive 4GB for 1,000 Naira. In most cases, the complete data appears at once. In some instances, the core data is followed by the remaining bonus generally within 30 minutes. Good luck. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Redhot111:It's not about me, or what I believe the relative position currently is, compared to 2014/5, 2007, or even 1999. It's about your observed beef with Ngene. So, please wait on her to review your narrative or "case," and present hers, if she deems it warranted. Good luck! ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
Redhot111:Actually, she needn't present a case, because you never presented any case, either. You simply made a statement (to the effect that, "Nigerians" would collectively unelect Buhari,) without you adducing any verifiable, unbiased proof/facts to back up your statement. On the other hand, she responded that no [known] politician can dethrone Buhari, also without her presenting any proof/facts to back up her claim. So, why would you shift the goalpost and ask for a Ngene to present you a case? ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
DPsalmist2:If you've followed the thread, you'd be aware that this "down time" issue with ntel is what those who stick with the network, cope with from time to time, so you better learn to live with it (mainly because of the unlimited data bouquets,) or bail. For me, I tend to fill up ntel holes with Glo's 4G data. But, surprise, surprise: Glo in my crib is these days beginning to rival ntel's unreliability. Lol. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
oyb:Well said - at least w.r.t. my zone as well. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
fikfik:Thanks for this heads up, mehn, and I agree it's a fair deal; hopefully, someone like me would now no longer need to do that ntel + Glo "mix and match" thingy, LOL. ![]() ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
My latest strategy for [hopefully] getting through the month @ 10k total: Glo's 30 GB @ 5k (for normal surfing and very light streaming, but no major downloading during the day, so managing 1 GB/day on average) + ntel's unlimited night, 10 P.M. to 6 A.M., @ 5k (for automated and unattended downloading, at mostly 1.1MB/s in my crib. It stops momentarily from time-to-time, though, but invariably picks up again, generally within one minute, in my observstion so far.) I've been on this combo for about 10 days (see screen shots) already - no major hitch. Hopefully others have the same/a similar strategy, and it's working for them? [Somewhere down the line, I'll try to swap the ntel part with Swift's advertised 3K for 3 GB with unlimited midnight to 6 A.M, IIRC, and see if it works in my crib.] Good luck, everyone. ........
