The time they started to detain/imprison this man, half of nairaland people were not even born. Up till today. Na wa o |
Some people no dey look date when looking at money in Nigeria. Big ERROR |
Hi. Please I need to check the condition of the above named laptop which came from USA but I can't buy just a charger only to discover the device is faulty. I have enough gadgets people are not buying and I'm not willing to spend any further money only to have item sitting down there unsold. Anyone who has need for any electronics to swap or as a collateral for me to rent the charger for one day should please signify. I think it's high time we confessed that trade by barter is the best for our level, since so many people have things and need other things but nobody wants to spend money, lol |
Julius1351:Google Pixel 5. From USA. Display glass is cracked; otherwise mint condition. Price ₦150,000 Ibadan Higher and lower budget phones also available

99% of Nigerian politicians in government have no clue what they're doing or how nations develop. Their main skill is political intrigues of how to get into power and how to sabotage their never-ending enemies. It keeps them busy between election cycles. The remaining 1% dare not do what they think because the society will eat them alive. They're there to reign for their term and 'chop' their own and leave. This is the way of a failed society. Those who know better have already become destitute if trapped here, or have run away to sane countries. If only Nigerians knew how backward their minds are it would be the first positive step in the right direction. But even that they don't know; they're all trapped in megalomaniac perceptions of themselves. Lol! |
Google Pixel 6 Pro like new with some screen issue but very usable. Price ₦230,000 last. Check out the market price yourself. Ibadan

You're looking where you want to go on the other side of the road and one dumb government tells you to instead walk 50 or 100 meters to pedestrian bridge, cross there and walk same distance back. Do you people think rules are made to make life hard for people or to make life easier for people? Does anyone have statistics on how many people have lost their lives or being knocked down in all those busy areas where those bridges are located? I certainly know many many people have died from the complications arising from the economic hardships we have suffered in the last one year -- as if the other years have become child's play in comparison. Talk about misplaced priority. Born and spent much of my first 30 years in Lagos. I've now run away from there because it's a very dangerous place to be |
Due to the previously unfathomable experience of dollar reaching ₦1920, and me buying at 1,600, I had to run to Sabo to buy last week at 1,420 and I was glad I did. The previous bitter experience I though was a lesson. That day became the lowest it reached. It has been gaining ever since. All my money has been destroyed in this hell-on-earth called a country. I don't know about currency. I'm just an average human being trying to make ends meet in the area I know about. Those who should ensure my money retains its value have ruined me |

NeckingNgulping:That's because you're one of the overwhelmingly dumb inhabitants that saturate the country |
aieromon:It is still stupid, but I will never waste my time arguing with a Nigerian individual or body. There's a reason we are still lost, groping in the dark. How do other civilised nations get their citizens to prove they're qualified for a passport? This primitive society on tribal level as Lugard correctly pointed out in a 1922 book |
Contact is in my profile. I don't want no problem with no admins. Price has gone up because naira has crashed again. Now 200k and 250k respectively |
DeltaBachelor:Sufferheads always think the whole world is/think like them. SMH |
Anyone who really, sincerely wishes to understand the level of backwardness of the Nigerian should come to nairaland and peruse the comments. This is where they're at ease to show their true selves. All of the problems with Nigeria start and end with the general public -- not the favorite fall guys, the ever-changing people called "government". Any government or powerful people who truly want to seek out the right people to build upon to better this jungle and is not checking on nairaland is a hypocrite. All of Nigeria is a joke and they deserve the conditions they're in |
Now ₦1,450. Forget any story you're hearing. I'm going to buy because I've seen worse. I lost my chance at 1,140 hoping it will continue to come down. Let me cut my losses. I don't want to pay another 1,680 as I once did |
Nigerians do not comprehend the magnitude of their failure as a people. They have been fed this koolaid for so long that they're superior to other Africans, when the fact is that they're closer to the failed African states than the ordinary ones. We are still talking African standards o -- the lowest of all the continents and peoples of the earth. I am ASHAMED to be born Nigerian and I have done the most possible for a human being not to have their DISEASE as part of my nature. Effect: I am the one who is mad in their insanity asylum. It is a badge of honour to me that they see me as different |
It was not 1,255 on Tuesday. It was 1,280. I would have bought $1,000 to remove all my money from this failed currency. In the end, aboki started hoarding and I was happy to find $200 at above rate to buy my online merchandise. The naira I'm spending was dollar I changed to naira one year ago at ₦728. Talk about the loss of the millennium! |
There's no real rice in the market again. The parboiled Thailand rice we used to call "aroso" in the West no longer exists. All these useless rice you see now, if you don't monitor it on the stove, you'll get mashed "tuwo shinkafa". I would be willing to pay for the proper rice; it only costs ₦200 or so more than these atrocious rice we see per measure we call "Kongo" in Ibadan here. But for the last 2 months I've been unable to find. Anyone with info could chime in pls |
emkz:This is the most sensible comment I've heard from a Nigerian in a long time. Nigerians are full of hot air and no substance. Nairaland is a battlefield for tribal and sectional warriors. There is something called Anti-trust laws in America and other sensible nations. The society understands that producers of goods and services should not gang up and fix prices. In Nigeria it is the way of life. In case you don't know it, that's how it has been from time immemorial. Especially in the transport industry. Otherwise many of these transporters would be out of business. Only today, a few topics ago on nairaland I discovered that government actually has an agency created to prevent this. But of course the employees are there to make money to build personal houses and everything and if sabotaging the very reason for their existence is the way to "make it", then, all for it. I've always said Nigerian and indeed black man's problem is that he isn't ready to develop his society. It is a human problem we have. According to how they say it here: "dey play". What a shame to be identified with such a demographic |
This foolish man should go and get a life. I wished him to win in the elections of last year but his 3rd party candidacy did better than any 3rd party candidacy in the history of USA politics that we copied but lost as expected because a house divided against itself can not stand. Since then instead of going back to whatever the hell he was doing before, he has become leader of the Opposition as if Nigeria is running a British Parliamentary system. He has become the focal point of those sowing division in the land. No Nigerian cares about this country. All politicians are in the game to get something out if it. Politics in Nigeria is an end unto itself instead of a means to get persons and ideas in the task of building a nation. Nation of clueless people |
I bought this laptop from USA with the issue being a faulty added-on Radeon graphics chip. The Intel based graphics works but laptop is designed to switch to the Radeon when there's more demand for graphics processing. When that happens, laptop fails and need to be rebooted by those who know how. I managed to do it myself for the pictures shown. I know little to nothing about Macbooks and I will not let Apple kill me with stress. Sold as is. Price ₦150,000 no discussion. Location is Ibadan. I also have Touchbar 2016/17 edition with a damaged display and SSD not showing up. Otherwise clean, USA used. ₦200,000. Apple are bastards. Same losses with iphones. I want Apple out of my life.

Has petrol price increased in the last couple of weeks? This is astounding. Naira gains a whopping one-third of its value in the last one month. I go to market happy that things would have come down. INSTEAD, THEY DON'T REMAIN SAME -- THEY'RE INCREASING! One seller's excuse to me was she said "God" wanted to show Nigerians that they should change from their sins! No human being can ever make sense of this evil failed state |
Black man is still an a*e. All pretense to modernity is only skin deep. From no school to PhD, African society is still centuries away from 2024 |
Pakistan is a failed state. A prime example not to be dragging with who pass you (India in their case). Their main industry is nuclear weapon and religion. See how that turned out! |
Haha. Another round of hell-on-earth for we hapless people absolutely not interested in being part of country. We're still serving hardship from the previous rounds. What have I done to enter life from this country? Millions of foetuses are begging not to be brought into this world here but their deaf parents insist they must have children. Failed State. PS: by the way I hear they now arrest people for what they say on the internet. Democracy was always a farce anyway; even in America and Europe it is leading to their downfall now |
