Armaggedon:That's why it must be charged with no subsidy so you all can enjoy your wasteful habits with no bone of productivity |
Ogene001:Do you know what 1MW is? |
This crime should attract a death sentence on conviction. At least one person has been reported to have committed suicide on nairaland here due to the unbearable and sudden change in the economic fortunes of the Nigerian public. Till today prices are still rising for basic necessities to sustain life |
robinso01:I don't offer the service. The cam is 4k last price and it is in Ibadan |
robinso01:Yes na. I have in Ibadan o |
This country has a special CURSE worse than Palestinian matter. I am like a broken record on this country matter. |
Haha. Rewind 2 years ago, me sef have cried my own. You go pay dat moni o. That's all I can tell you. Unless you have big man in customs or government. Endure this one and learn your lesson and then wait a few weeks or months for another person to come and cry on nairaland too, for your amusement |

This man went from governor of a state straight to senate president. Where in the history of politics in the whole world does that happen? Hint: he presided over an oil rich state with no political agitations for 8 years. The people in power deciding the destiny of the country are the very opposite of the people who should be there, if the nation is to progress. These people represent the apotheosis of the evil Nigerian nature. Their whole lives have been lived with contempt for morality, very shallow minds, criminality and anything that makes a person personally successful by any means but with next to no personal honour and integrity -- just like most other Nigerians, if they have the chance. These are the types of people that get promoted in life from childhood to where they end up now when the society itself consists almost exclusively of such people. Upright people are easy to pull down in that set up. Again I say: the type of country we have is a result of the type of people we are. The problem with Nigeria is the Nigerian people themselves, a few of whom are in government. Thank you |
Low information societies are always the cesspit of religious indoctrination. This is always closely correlated with a natural tendency for hypocrisy and inescapable backwardness. I would hope this lecture helps reduce the rapid population growth from excessive breeding. There is no single reason why Nigerians are hungry today other than the fact that they produce nothing but have increased their mouths 13 TIMES OVER in the last century, from a mere 17 million in 1922. People who take the time to post persuasions like this with no substance to reason on usually are troubled and looking for a release |
We don't need empty egomaniacs. Please go and don't return. Try your politics in America. It's not like Nigeria where you must be an indigene. All these university aluta empty vessels |
People don't buy phone for spec. They think they do, I know. They buy it for ego. Companies already know how insecure human beings are and create the environment to exploit it. That's why a phone has small blemish they won't buy because how will they prove to their friends they "belong" or are better. The thing they'll be fighting seller to sell at a loss they'll go back to their "friends" to claim they bought it even above market price. The day life will happen to you, you'll realise there's no friend amongst such people you're trying to impress, even if at all there's friend in this world sef. Make una carry on |
SoNature:"Too risky", abi? You're part of the crowd that has killed this country. You have NO CLUE! Sani Abacha was an alumnus at Aso Rock. I don't know where you will find anyone in a category lower than that |
In 2024. Make Isale Eko a country and after some time they'll start to fight about who is entitled to what by accident of birth. 1,000 years more before black man becomes a human being |
Rebuker:Who is the government and who are the owners of the houses? |
Nigeria is a failed state. People keep targetting whatever president is on the seat, not knowing he is only a product of the failed nation. You know how many president I don see? On every level of authority, Nigerians all the same: lower human capacity. And you'll be blaming Oyibo for concluding you're inferior humans. IT IS TRUE! |
As much of black Africa continues to slide into the abyss, their clueless leaders are busy sharing awards for "job well done" i suppose |
harlee:I have screen for Pixel 1 (small one) I am in Ibadan |
These are the pictures i took at an area called Gate 2 weeks ago. My dear brodas if you know how jampacked people and vehicles usually are in this area ehn! When coming from Mapo/Beere road once you reach the beginning of this Gate till you exit, it will take sometimes over 30 minutes in traffic. IN THIS ERA OF FUEL UNAFFORDABILITY! Expected news is that THEY ARE BACK, not fully but they've crept back. I was there yesterday. Nigerian govt, let me tell you since you wouldn't allow me help develop this nation: it is FAR CHEAPER to use money to civilize near-animals so they continue to behave properly than to spend on white elephant projects that they will bring down and hence waste the money, because that's how they understand life to be lived. If you know how many brown shirt officials the government employed to police the place you'll understand what i mean. EDUCATION -- not going to university to learn nothing. Real knowledge acquisition and discipline with a focus on primary and secondary schools. The bastard at the top now is the first to take schools away from government control that our dear Gen Obasanjo made govt policy in 1976, and encouraged private profit-driven individuals to establish "schools". The private schools in every corner are now a weekday extension of Sunday School and the other religion has also done likewise. The "teachers" themselves need to be taught how to be human beings, but instead they're in charge of young minds. Proprietor is looking at his bottom line -- money. God knows how much i hate this nation. Every decade we go from bad to worse as a society. To me, it's already a failed state
|
Nigeria's problem is not economics or politics or colonialism. Nigeria's problem is morality. The heart of the Nigerian is evil and the only thing worse than that is he doesn't even know it. Evil is his default state |
Failed country. Failed society. Nothing ever done with any brain. Because they don't have a brain. All is threat, force, like the brutes they are |
Let the DUMMY go to any service provider office in any Nigerian city and tell me how many people he sees there wasting all day on this stupid matter. Nothing they're able to do with any brain matter, no matter how many alphabets they've put after their names. Inferior society |

All the experiments they've tried to reduce Nigerian hardship since Independence, none of them has tried slowing down the rapid rate of population growth. They keep borning children like somebody will beat them if they slow down. Nation of consumers should not multiply so fast or else hunger is their destiny. Nations of producers are struggling to reproduce children to maintain their industrial capacity, but nations of idle people keep reproducing themselves, producing less and less, and hoping the free money from oil will be enough for everybody. It was enough in 1974 at 50something million people; it's not enough in 2024 at 220 million unproductive longer throats. SMH |
Why do you Nigerian people think that okrika electronics all come from UK? Almost NONE come from the UK |
MrDoGood:Singapore is smaller than Lagos but richer than the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not just in per capita but in actual GDP, without any oil, or any natural resources |
I lost ₦84,000 (2020 value) falling for no: 3 It was the only time I let "client" go before fully confirming receipt of the money. All other times I held client down ended up a waste of time as it was a genuine transfer. But all I hear about online transactions is that sellers are the criminals, buyers are saints Such is life |
This makes a lot of sense. It aligns with my avowed belief that the only reasons wretched nations suffer even in 2024 is the cruelty in their hearts, from the top man to the bottom people. Nobody cares for the general good, but for themselves only. I have a journal in which I wrote this very belief in October 1992 (yes you saw that right). 31 years + later it has become so much clearer to me

kay29000:You're both dull, as is expected of the ignorant Nigerian. Have you heard of Somalia before? South Sudan is even more recent. It's not too late -- educate yourself and forget about getting a PhD |
This is the kind of narrative you will only hear in a failed Third World country with absolutely no idea on the part of the leaders how nations progress. Share this, share that, yea that's the symptom of a failed state |
Planet of the apes. That one na moni? Is that the one that will solve Nigerian national failure? Even me ma, I have changed more than $8,000 before and I'm an absolute nobody |
