This is disgraceful of all these brutes that have no idea how proper behaviour looks like. Gen Gowon said it right: it's an ambush. You can't ask such a senior elder statesman to just do things on the spur if the moment. I'm sure many who see him as a "Hausa man" from the indoctrination they received from their tribe will be shocked to learn he wasn't confident enough in his language skills to offer such drastic impromptu change of plans. Gowon only learned Hausa language in his teenage years (shock!) Ignorance KILLS |
Mynd44:All you people who don't know what you really are and are classifying yourselves as equal to Oyibo people are the reason we are a lost nation. You no happy say dem allow you exchange aircraft for money, you would have shown me how to build your own aircraft to fly direct to Buckingham Palace. The other day there, minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi was being grilled why we should be using the "inferior" single gauge instead of double gauge rail track as they're using in the most advanced systems abroad. Ehen! This wretched country? Which one can you make? Can you invent the machine used to make PENCIL in this country? This loud-mouthed empty pride the Nigerian is wired with will never make his society realise how tremendously backward they really are before any hope of fixing it will ever begin. And by the way airlines abound that have direct flights to LHR. LGW is cheaper, it's a personal choice. I've been through both and I'll choose LGW any day if the fare us competitive enough. Difference is just a comfortable train ride that's not even too far ir expensive. Try Luton airport to know what distance is. But no flights to Nigeria from there so they can save themselves from complaint they're "mistreating Africans". Kai. Who do us this thing Do I get a suspension now? |
KingKO22:You are an example why this country is a failed state |
Nigerians do not understand why government exists and how nations develop. All they know is money, hence a lot of valueless money is now floating around and they're still complaining. Failed State = failed people |
Awise09:That one plenty na. It's uncountable. I bought 3 (nos) for ₦200 yesterday to make my Sunday-Sunday scrambled eggs delicacy. Few months ago I would use same 200 to buy both pepper and tomatoes to make emergency stew with 1 or 2 sachets of tomato paste and would last days |
evuna:I have Original Pixel (Pixel 1) and Pixel 3a XL in your price range. My contact is in my profile |
My friend and humble man, the Group PPRO of NNPC at the time of his death Dr Livi Ajuonuma, also in a plane crash. God, so Livi Ajuonuma is still dead?! |
Sonnobax15:That's why Nigeria is a failed state. People tell me religion is either true or at worst harmless. I tell them they're fools: religion is so destructive it makes you unable to even know it is |
I have refused working for others for many reasons. One of them is this that's panning out well for me. I don't do weekly fuel outlay check. My car is for utilitarian reasons. I only drive 3 times a month or less and I would estimate I spend 10k to 15k a month. The rest of the time I use public transport which if you check now, is far cheaper than using private car; the difference wasn't that great before. If there was water where I live, that would have been even less, because I have to drive long distances to get water in jerry cans to use. Whenever I do drive, I average 40km round trip and I choose the route and the time for minimum traffic. Cheers everyone. NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE! |
Medici777:Haha. Did you check the date of the post? Fuel was 160 naira then |
I've said again and again: NIGERIA IS A JUNGLE! NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE! NIGERIA IS A JOKE! Nigerian Police are the nation's original first kidnappers. I moved out of Lagos partly for fear of police and other uniformed government-licensed criminals. GOD, I HATE this country! |
The simple answer to every question is that this country Nigeria is a cursed country -- a people dedicated to never doing well, ON PURPOSE MTN has now completely blocked my line after 2 years of not allowing me call out, all because of NIN that they can't get right. I've used same NIN "invalid" number to get international passport and linked to Airtel (which itself is story for another day). What a failed state |

All this talk on top of $30? God, Nigerians are now truly wretched |
A society where the lawyers are the government and are rich while the engineers are poor can not have any claim to interest in development. There are main undertakings and ancillary services which survive from it. When the ancillary services become the main money earner, the main ones becoming wretched, that's an anomaly and the society is doomed to fail. The seller of corn exists because the farmer produced it |
JennyOfOldstones:Instead of being profuse in your posts you're being reticent. Is "not in Lagos" a place? Anyway, I can't be of help even if I know what to do. Women get help too easily and take it for granted |
Ominie:Available in Ibadan |
FuckingNaira:If you still need, i have S8,waybill from Ibadan |
tmultinat:Could you provide details? I have phones with so many locks that I'm not willing to shell out big money for -- partly because they're not worth much and also because all the fully functioning phones i have on ground aren't being bought by these Nigerian people. I don't know if I'm in business to sell at no profit (or even a loss) |
This one na country? Smh |
SmartPolician:Yet they keep claiming Oyibo are individualistic without community and that Africans are the champions of communal care. Abeg give me Oyibo individualism any day. Nigerians and Africans are a bunch of satanic evil petty lower humans. Yes! |

Please if anyone here lives around Old Ife Road, Alakia, Iyana Church or anywhere else in Ibadan who has the above charger, I would like to do a quick charge to ascertain the state of the MacBook in my hands right now. I am a tech man per excellence and so if there's anything you'll like to borrow in exchange for the brief period I would need the charger, let me know. It would be a waste to buy a charger only to discover the laptop is not functional. I already have the very one before this one (2009-2012). Thanks |
