I thought you are an advocate for any wealthy men irrespective of his source of income. Nice to know your specific needs of a man.

The lady in question you termed innocent is not, judging from the fact that "her long throat" took her to a death trap

Why was their new Lagos head office built in the First place? Sanusi Lamido even fitted it with an helipad. The building is wasting away till date. I still have pictures of their empty offices with me as I speak.

They are better off situated in Lagos than Abuja because almost all Banks are headquartered in Lagos.

One key function of CBN is Banking services supervision. You can't do that effectively when your H/O is in Abuja.

These CBN guys travel down to Lagos almost everyday and then raise crazy expense claims on Travel, flight, hotel Accomodation, local estacodes to the tune of several millions.

These leakages should be plugged.

N.B: My position is not borne out of tribalism.

#Bitter fact

These 3 agencies absolutely have no business in Abuja.

1. CBN - Lagos
2. NNPC - Lagos or portharcourt

3. FAAN (Aviation)
- Lagos

Thank you and their location should be based on economic viability at the red comment
Foreign Affairs › Re: US And UK Carry Out Strikes Against Iran-Backed Houthis In Yemen by Dynamicboss: 9:48am On Jan 12, 2024
madridguy:
Truly the Houthis are the heroes of our time. They are proven to the world what they're capable of doing.

I expected the US/UK to take the fight to the Red Sea, fight the Houthis soldiers there and not taking your fighter jet to be bombing civilians sleeping at home.

If you have differences with your fellow man, fight him at the spot, going behind to fight his aged mother, wife and children is nothing but being coward.

The Houthis have been blocking any Isreali own ship from passing the Red Sea, I expected the US/UK to take the full fight to the Red sea and not to Yemen.

Now we all can see Israel is just a light weight fighter claiming heavy weight.
Could you please tell me the reason for the bolded statement boss?

Though I will say Nigerian Men especially from the southern part know how to care for women but that should not be a basis to select your life partner. He can come from anywhere in this planet. Just be open minded and pray God gives you a husband that will you peace of mind and a man in major aspects of the marriage.

Let's just be honest with ourselves. The education system in the country is collapsing every day and to add salt to injury, teachers are also emigrating to greener pastures every day.

Brain drain is taking a huge tune not only in health, IT and education as most western countries have announced and ready to issue visas for skilled artisans like electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc. meaning that almost or all sectors in Nigeria will experience exodus of people that will japa more.

In 5 years, Nigeria will be left with acute shortage of skilled educated and artisans workers. Maybe that will make the useless politicians sit up a bit.

Career › Re: Is 400k Job In Nigeria Worth Staying Or Should I Japa? by Dynamicboss: 2:40pm On Jan 03, 2024
sleek214:
Ok. I find it a little funny and annoying when I hear people say they earn over 400k as monthly salary and still see Japa as an option to earn more. My dear, first things first, 400k is enough to live a comfortable life here in Nigeria. I earn below 400k but I've been to two European countries on vacation. Most Nigerians that earned above 400k here in Nigeria and left their jobs for the Japa syndrome are regretting it over there, they wish they could turn back the hands of time. If you travel out on vacation to see them, what they do and how they live, you'd appreciate God for giving you a good job here in Nigeria. Forget what people abroad post or show on social media, it's a hoax. Most people that will come on your thread to advise you to Japa don't even earn up to 60k monthly.
Maybe you were earning 400k, 6 years ago when naira to dollars equivalence is N350. Do the maths and realise that same money is nothing now (Almost 1,150 USD then compared to 320USD now). Flight ticket sef will not take you beyond Sudan.

Politics › Re: 'Dangote, Port Harcourt Refineries Won’t Reduce Fuel Price’ – Rewane by Dynamicboss: 10:36pm On Jan 02, 2024
Faiththatworks:
Although I totally agree with the analysis of Mr Rewane all the time because he's an authority in his field,I will disagree with him today.
Although my analysis are at most amateurish but I don't believe the Refinery will not have any effect on the price of Fuel in the Market.
Diesel is 1200, kerosene is around 800 per liter while Aviation Fuel is more than 1000 per litre.
Although petrol is between 595-700 per litre,I'm sure once the Dangote Refinery starts working optimally, prices will come down.
Right now,the government has fully liberalized the importation of Diesel, Aviation Fuel and kerosene, meaning the importers have to source for Money at a very expensive price to import these fuel.
I'm very sure, the exchange rate of sourcing for Usd is one of the components that has made Fuel very expensive in Nigeria.
Removing the high exchange rate will surely lead to a reduction in prices.
As for the Refinery,I leave with my usual advice, invest now and make money quickly.
Check my signature for more details
God bless Nigeria...
Subsidy is still in motion and no independent marketer will dare try to import fuel and incur lost or the product will see no patronage from end users and retailers

So, there's a man who wants me to be his wife. Honestly, he possesses the qualities of a good husband, but I can't deny that I don't find him attractive. Despite my efforts, I can't seem to develop feelings for him. Seeing his face makes me angry, even though he treats me well and spends generously. His height and face are a deal-breaker for me. If I accept his proposal, I know it will cause pain, but no matter how rude I've been, he won't let go. I'm considering running away from my community altogether. I don't want him to know my parents; otherwise, I'm done.
I guess you don't find him physically attractive but you enjoy his money shey? Aunty tell him you have a fiance and will be getting married in few months

Chaii, another brainwasher.
When most people that age is no longer on their side are trying their possibilities to gett out from the Martial fulfillment. Look I can't sacrifices my peace of mind over do or die thing called Marriage.

You men should be going after other ladies that can accept marriage within a sec. Not the ones that have nothing to do with Marriage.
Everybody should decide what makes them happy. Truly some marriage has ruined people's life while others are lucky.

My point is marital and career success make people more fulfilled and happy.

I understand your fears. It is well

Family › Re: Does A Woman Earning More Than The Husband Affect The Marriage? by Dynamicboss: 2:47pm On Jan 02, 2024
saasala:
The major reason the marriage of our parents lasted till eternity is because our fathers were the sole or major breadwinners of the family.

The reason marriages nowadays crash easily is because women now bring something tangible to the table. This is the major reasons marriages in Western countries don't last because women now have a say.

I just laugh when I see Nairaland guys saying "Nigerian women don't bring anything to the table" Like can you handle them when they start bringing something to the table?

I will rather not want my wife to bring anything to the table or bring something very small to the table. I only need her to be a good wife, take care of the home, the kids and be submissive. That's all a woman needs to do.

Nature has not designed a woman to be a leader. The moment they earn more than you, then they become the leader which is abnormal, and since they are not wired to lead, they will crumble the ship and scatter the building.

As much as people get divorced in Nigeria, we are still among the least divorced countries in the world but the numbers are climbing up because a lot of men are asking "What is she bringing to the table?"

I understand that the economy isn't helping matters and the make up of the 21st century generally has made it possible for both men and women to work and anyone can earn more than the other, and this is a pandemic.

Women are designed to worship their men, respect them, take care of the home and the kids.

As a man, you are a king and your wife is the Queen. Queens don't work, they only look beautiful for the king to admire and they don't have any say in the house. And they dare not question the king for having concubines or taking more wives.

Men, work hard, work very hard so you can take care of your home and stop waiting for your wife to bring something to the table. You can't handle that table.

My wife is just here enjoying herself. She is respectful and takes care of the home and when she catches me cheating, she can only cry. I will pet her and beg her and go back to my cheating. And the day she cheats, she is going back to her father's house while I take another wife.
Why do I find this comment funny? cheesy

Lol u are justifying your cheating and stopping your wife from doing the same despite the fact that you initiated the circumstance that led to this.

At the bolded, heard of the devil you knew is better than the camouflaged angel? Be careful

Politics › Re: NERC: We Have Not Approved Any New Electricity Tariff For Discos by Dynamicboss: 5:07am On Jan 02, 2024
I hope it remains this way but this is how fuel subsidy removal was rumoured and discarded till it became reality. Nigerians are really facing difficult times (shege promax) from this current administration.

Other countries' citizens especially outside Africa can testify of government benefits in form of cash and goods but the case is opposite in Nigeria as the government is feeding fat from people's sweat.
