You know what happens when u respond to someone that did not insult you with an insult? Everyone forgets the point u were trying to make, if there was one to begin with. All the person hears is the insult. You want someone''s feeble mind to get your strong minded point, don't call them imbec!les . Cos I can't even remember the point you were trying to make.

You are quite a fool to think that abusing someone for quoting u on social media makes u an intellectual.

When u called me an imbec!le what was I supposed to do in response? Say yes sir/maam? Argue wit u again like the human being I thought u were? I had two options, ignore you, or insult u back. If today was monday-Saturday, it wld have been option 1. But I have a problem with ppl like u that hate and insult ppl just for disagreeing wit u.you can't have a discussion or an arguement on the merits. You have to resort to petty name calling to make your point, especially when you don't have a valid point to make.

I trust you will respond again with another off point statement... most likely with an insult in it.

Keep it coming buff.oon... I have faith in your stupidity, u haven't failed me yet.

Joke!

jmaine:

To reemphasize my point that evaded your feeble mind. What I implied is that I have little tolerance for foolish distractors . . . . .

Your submissions were laughable and embarrassing to say the least .

You can't make a point or disagree with someone without resorting to insults and you think it's me that is a distracting dreg of something? U started this back and forth insults by calling me imbec!le in response to a simple question. You initially said I was blabBing, I chose to ignore u, but all of a sudden now, u can't tolerate me?

Lmao!

I'm sure u will keep up the yibby yabba because ppl like u don't have work. You prefer the sentiment of the promises you are hearing to the fact of what you can see.

Keep talkin to the hand.

Go ahead, respond with another insult... I have faith in you

wow... sounds like he really did a lot.
So, how come I lived in a total of 3 states and 4 different towns during his 6 year tenure and I still never experienced the power stability I am experiencing now?and how come people were still complaining about power supply
ocelot2006:

Maybe because GEJ:

Built and commissioned FAR MORE power stations than his predecessors COMBINED

Fixed and expanded existing power stations

Ensured adequate gas supply via the GAS REVOLUTION that saw the construction and expansion of the MASSIVE gas delivery system

Upgraded and expanded the transmission grid, building far more substations and stringing new power lines

Responsible for massive distribution of of step down transformers initially held up at ports and PHCN offices

Built new distribution substations across the federation

Unbundled PHCN and sold it off, allowing for private sector participation

Outsourced TCN to major Canadian Utility Firm

Propaganda gabbage? I don't abuse ppl on naira land until they abuse me first, so please... do not insult me.
I have been in the southwest for 3 years, before that I stayed in abj. This 24hours power supply u are talking about in the northeast, I never saw it in abj, or the west. I won't argue your northeast theory with you because I did not stay there. But if it's only the northeast that could boast of power, then something is wrong don't u think?

As for what they feed me, unlike most of the blind loyalists on this thread, I actually question everything that comes out of the mouth of every politician. I don't believe GEJ made huge efforts to stabilise power just because some talking heads were throwing fancy words around that I didn't even understand.

I believe what I can see. If PMB came up now and said he is doing something to improve power, I would believe him, because I can see the effects, Not just talk propaganda gabbage, like u said.
ocelot2006:

I do not recall GEJ saying we had constant power supply, but him saying that power supply haf improved and it would've been a thing of the past. And he was RIGHT. Power had indeed improved across the country. In the restive North East were I worked, the states enjoyed almost 24hrs of power supply.

But the hatred for GEJ never allowed people like you to see the progress made, just the propaganda garbage you were fed daily.

quit being insultive and dig your head out of the sand. I don't know what he did, and you don't know what GEJ did either. All these fancy words u are throwing around "gas pipelines", "IPP plant", you see where dem build am? Did u sight when they were building it? No be for television and news and pictures una dey see am? Whether na for yankee dem take the pic, u no know. Be shouting IPP plant there. Upon all the findings and policies and gas pipelinez they said they were building for 6 years, we did not see any improvement until the guy left.

I know you GEJ loyalists will nvr accept that the guy can do any wrong. But the facts are clear. Light is great now. It was terrible during GEJ''s tenure, and his tenure lasted 6 years. If you like, go and hug transformer.

u prefer the era when GEJ wld tell amanpour that we have constant power supply in Nigeria and u only get to hear about it on twitter because you did not have enough money to buy fuel for the gen to watch TV?
I don't care about reports and claims, or rhetorics either ... anyone can paint a false picture or generate a cooked report or manipulate fact's and figurus. That was what GEJ was all about. I care about what I can see.
kinglekan:

Exactly!

I have no personal feud whatsoever against PMB and though I have my reservations about him, I can't just seem to wrap my hands around the logic behind praising him for the improvement in power supply.

How exactly has this government affected power generation? I haven't read of any reports claiming that our power generation has increased.

Someone should put up facts we can actually digest and not just come with the same rhetorics 'change has come', as though the mere announcement of that makes a difference.

I don't actually think buhari particularly did much sef, to be honest. But GEJ had 6 years to make it happen, and he didn't despite his statement that we should not vote for him if he doesn't stabilise power . For some reason, light became stable less than 2 weeks afta swearing in. Less than 2 months after that we have 3 refineries working at increasing capacity. GEJ might have started the transformation, but it was pmb that transformed whatever GEJ may have started into change that we can actually see and feel, not just pictures and videos of transformation.
I believe in results, not just telling me power is stable when I'm having to put on gen to watch news every night. if pmb could do it in 2 weeks, then GEJ could have done it sooner. Lord knows I probably would have voted for him if he had.

So educate us on what PMB did to make power steady, any policy drive, funding e.t.c . . . . .

all of you complainin that buhari is actin slowly... you seem to forget that your only alternative for president was a man that did not act at all, a man whose 6 years did not affect the day to day lives of averge Nigerians positively. Atleast, since may 29, if there is one thing I can say, it's that electricity has greatly improved. I have been using the same 20 litres keg of fuel since June, e neva finish. Kaduna, ph and warri refineries have also improved without fuel prices going up.
It's not even up to 6 months yet. It took years for naija to enter this mess, y'all want him to deliver a greater Nigeria in 6 months?
If all he does is make sure that our refineries are working and we have electricity like I am enjoying these days, it's still better than what GEJ accomplished in 6 yrs. Let's all be realistic here.

My area started having slow download speed only at night despite having full network bars, just 6 months after I started subscribing to a plan that allows me unlimited night downloads? Yeah that makes sense.

Look, this ain't a competition, you have said your experience and I have said mine. I mentioned yesterday that it improved a bit.
I never said it was always slow, I don't think I have gotten more than 2mb/s but I don't monitor downloads unless they are ridiculously slow. My brother said he has gotten 3mb/s before on my modem, so swift is generally not slow. However, in the last few weeks, I have not gotten up to 500kb/s at night. Daytime speeds are still normal swift speed.... but BTW 12 and 6... watching my downloads is like watching grass grow, whether it is on my phone or my laptop. That's my experience.

I have no agenda here, just saying it as it is.
makavele:

it's ur area . . i get about 3.5 - 4.0 MB/s on swift .. at any given time . . morning oh, afternoon oh, night ohhhh . rainfall or sunshine !!!
Technology Market / Re: New SWIFT Data Plans Unlimited Data! by dynamitee: 10:57am On Jun 27, 2015
If that is swift then that's awesome. I am happy for you. But I don't experience that. It's not my device either. I have two laptops and an android device and I thought maybe the system was the problem and I tried the other one and my phone.... same disappointing speeds only at night. Same thing my brother experiences.

At the author below, I have no idea where St. Leo''s is. There are a few catholic churches around here and frankly, all catholic churches sound exactly the same to me... probably because they all have saint in their names.
malikalhaj:

then I guess it's ur device cos this is a proof of downloads peed using IDM at my brother's
Technology Market / Re: New SWIFT Data Plans Unlimited Data! by dynamitee: 8:24am On Jun 27, 2015
Loooool.... I live in gbagada. Swift has a mast here, so As long as I am home, I get full bars. I am not sure if it is possible to get 3.5mb /s anywhere since I think their limit is 2mb/s... but I'll take your word for it. If it was my area I would always have low speed.... it won't be only at night. Last night I got 300and something kb/s.... that's the highest nightime speed in a week. Finally finished downloading my 2.8gb file. Yesterday I streamed YouTube videos during the day with no noticeable buffer time at all. Trust me, it's not my area. Unless you are saying the mast in my area only works with daylight. I thought it was my system but my brother complained about the same thing when using my modem.
malikalhaj:

it must be your area, cos even on my Xbox i get over 1MB/s and i have just 3 bars in my area, my bro gets over 3.5MB/s (5bars) on his Xbox . . . and it's more than that when i download on my system using IDM
Technology Market / Re: New SWIFT Data Plans Unlimited Data! by dynamitee: 10:01pm On Jun 25, 2015
My brother, me I notice it from 12 to 5:55 which is when I set my alarm to wake up. I queue my downloads at 12 and go to sleep. I tend to sleep and wake a lot especially now that it's Ramadan season... and the speed is the same and by 5:55 I will be lucky if I have downloaded up to 300mb in 6hours.
Suntemi:
dynamitee, I do also notice slow speed, but that's always between 12am and 1am maybe because everyone is up at that time "purging" the Internet.
Technology Market / Re: New SWIFT Data Plans Unlimited Data! by dynamitee: 4:32am On Jun 25, 2015
Nigerian businesses can be scammers sometimes. This is my own experience with this plan. When it first started, it was great. The download speed at night was so fast that I did not mind that it was 12 to 6 (basically the only time I have to sleep). However, of recent the speed has reduced drastically. If You Try And DOWNLOAD during The Day With Your Own Data, THE Speed Is High And Fine And Normal. However, once it is 12 am and you are trying to Download for free, you start getting speeds of 40-50kbs. Yesterday was worse.... my torrents were downloading in bytes. I have been trying to download a 2.8gb file since Saturday.

Personally, I have decided I'll observe the plan till my data expires and if it's still this stingy night speed that they are giving me, it's not worth it mehnnnn. I'll carry my brother''s spectranet modem and recharge 4k for 20gb. I can do that twice in a month for 40gb rather than spend the same 8k on 14gb and free but slow night time downloads.
My 2cents sha, but me I get option. Na smile kuku better pass, but their data plans dey kill person wallet ehnnn!

For better for worse should mean somethin. D Bible also said Men, be faithful 2 ur wives.
if it was d man that did not want any children or cldnt procreate, Toke wld hve been expected 2remain childless rather than b unfaithful 2 her husband. Or if he wanted a son by force she wld be expected 2keep gettin pregnant until a boy comes... even if it is 10 times.

She may not be ur type, but maje knew d kind of person she was b4 he married her.

All of u complainin abt Buhari not keepin his campaign promises after a wk in office, how many promises did GeJ keep in his 6 yrs?
I guess if GEJ had won, we will not be complaining like this because we have come to expect nothing from the clueless theif.

People did not vote Buhari because he was an ideal leader. I voted Buhari because no matter how bad a leader he turns out to be, it can't be worse than the condition GEJ has put us in.

You see how GEJ did not even say a word or answer us when we were crying about fuel scarcity? Those are the actions of a man with nothing left to lose. And that is the kind of non chalance we would have had for the next 4 years if we had elected him again.

I will rather take a slow acting leader that accomplishes 1 thing in 4 years than a fast acting one that has had no impact on avg Nigerians and has even left us worse than we were before he took office.

You can complain about pmb all you want. Nigerians like to complain about situations they can not change. The fact is, we had two options for president, and Buhari was the better option. If you are complaining that 300 people have died since he took ofc, more died after the 2011 election's that Jonathan won as a sitting president. If it is about the number of advisers, GEJ had more. If it is about the unrealistic campaign promises, GEJ gave us as much as PMB did.

It took years and years for things to get this bad in Nigeria. PMB is not the Messiah, so don't expect miracles in 1 month or even 4years. Frankly, if he can give me electricity supply for guaranteed 12-18 hours per day and get 1 refinery working at full capacity, he will get my vote again because that is more than oga Jonathan did in 6 yrs or OBJ is 8yrs.

Give PMB his 4 years before you start looking for any and every reason to vilify the man.

I dont know enough to dispute your claims, and as such I will not try.

My point is still unchanged. For how many years did northerners rule Nigeria with iron fists If it was about tribe alone, I will take an Igbo man 10 times before an Hausa man, the North has had its fair chance to rule. If it was Donald Duke or some other southerner that was running for Presidency, i will probably prefer him to Buhari.

However, the reality of the matter is this, tribe should have very little to do with these elections.

Jonathan has had 4 years to do Nigeria proud and he has not. Instead, he has embarassed us repeatedly and continues to show indifference too the plight of the people he is supposed to lead. As such I will rather vote for a man who MAY be a good leader.

I am so scared of the level of corruption in this country; i don't bother to watch the news anymore because it is like watching a tale of heartbreak over and over again. I am worried that a time would come when I can no longer buy things on amazon because the value of the Naira to the dollar is beyond what I can afford. I am scared that as soon as Jonathan wins these elections, petrol pump price will go back to 97 naira and he will give one stupid excuse or the other. I am scared because right now, Nigeria has two presidential candidates and no leader and yet our president saw fit to postpone presidential elections to further his own agenda. I am scared because 200 girls alledgedly went missing and our president did not act like he gave a damn; my sister could have been one of them. I am worried because our president went on record to sympathise with Charlie Hebdo victims, when dozens died in baga in his own back yard and he did not say anything; as though French lives matter more than that of Nigerians.

The guy has been a disgrace for 6 years. No one is saying Buhari is an ideal candidate, but frankly, I think i will vote anyone as long as there is a chance that he will atleast halt the downward spiral that GEJ has thrown us into. Whether it furthers some parochial of sectarian interests somewhere is none of my business. The money they get from furthering their interests never cascades down to me.

i dont know who the King makers are in this country, I dont care. As for all the things you claim, some people definitely hate Jonathan because he is south-southern, just as some people only like him for the same reason. The same applies to Buhari and his northern background. If you want to make it a Yoruba problem, that's up to you.

Which politician in Nigeria does not try to further his own agenda? Which politician is not looking out for his own self interests? before he took office, my answer to that question would have been Goodluck Jonathan.

In Nigeria, our politicians are generally very self-serving. We have had corrupt Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba leaders, so no one tribe holds the monopoly on corruption. Jonathan's campaign strategy seems to be to highlight the tribal and religious differences among Nigerians. He is no messiah. the Fact is that if he had been a good president in the last 6 years, he would not have earned the title of being the most insulted leader in Nigerian History. And the Yoruba political class as you call them would not have so much ammunition to use against him.

That said, Oga, I will gladly have arguments in a civilized manner. But I have not called you Trite or insulted you in any way. Please extend the same courtesy.

rhymz:
hahahahh.... You sound very trite my dear. Which Yorubas trooped en mass to vote in 2011? Can you please put up the figures from the regions with regard to the 2011 presidential elections, I am not interested in overflolgged statements like yours about Yorubas fictitiously voting en mass for PDP in 2011, that's a lie. Here is a summary of the regional votes that won the elections for Jonathan, people lie figures don't lie.

according to the 2011 presidential elections,
majority of PDP votes came from
ABIA 1,175,984
AKWA-IBOM 1,165,629
ANAMBRA 1,145,169
DELTA 1,378,851
IMO 1,381,357
KADUNA 1,190,179
LAGOS 1,281,688
PLATEAU 1,029,865
RIVERS 1,817,762
and the regional vote for PDP was;
southwest 2,836417
southeast 4,985246
southsouth 6,014283
northwest 3,024797
northcentral+fct 3,376570
northeast 1, 498425

These are the stubborn facts, you can not spin this one like you lot do on SR.
I want to see how you explain the Yoruba voting en mass for Jonathan, like we all are kids that did not exist during that election or Yoruba people just like to arrogate some false sense of being king makers in this country to appear larger than life.

Like I said before, Yorubas are not known to vote for anyone with so much interest unless of course there is the possibility of the kind of concessions Buhari and the Northern political elite have promised. When it comes to politics, the Yoruba political class are opportunists, their kind of politics is the one that care more about Yoruba self interest than Nigeria's self interest that is the fact. Opposition to Jonathan from the SW region has little to do with his performance or the alleged corruption in his government as facts show otherwise, it has more to do with sectional, parochial political interests of its political class and the fact that they are using their control of the media to effectively unleash a well sustained propaganda against a government whose media arm is unfortunately mediocre . The one that exploits the North's thirst for power and disdain for a Jonathan coming from a minority tribe to assert power over Northerners. Nothing more. We are not new to Yoruba mode of politics, I just feel it is insulting when they try to make it look like they are doing everyone a favour by diving the south and using propaganda to rubbish this government.

Making tribalistic comments and calling it an intellectual argument. LWKMD!!!

An intellectual man would know better than to say Jonathan should not be our president for the next four years because igbos are useless and are the cause of all the bad things that have happened in Nigeria's history. You did not make your arguments with his actual flaws and faults, you went straight to his tribe (Jonathan is not even Igbo, he is Urhobo).

Nobody asked for your own opinion too. Its a public forum. As long as you comment on the subject of the thread and you obey the rules, you reserve the right to quote anybody you want.

Check my history, I never insult people that dont first of all insult me.

You are just blowing dust up and down. I called you out on your comments, defend your comments with facts instead of stomping your foot up and down like a spoilt 4 year old.

*Fact 1: You quoted someone who said people are wrongly choosing to vote Jonathan based on tribal sentiments (a point I agree with). However, your response in agreement with the author was tribalistic and insultive, calling Igbos a useless tribe and saying Yorubas are starting to share the hatred towards them that Hausa/fulanis have. Are igbos the only ones that vote along the lines of tribal sentiments?

*Fact 2: I called you out and said you should not make insultive tribalistic comments on a public forum because tribe is just one characteristic that defines a man.

*Fact 3: From there you started saying rubbish.

I am a person who prefers objectivity and tolerance for one's neighbour rather than prejudice against a person based on his race or tribe or some other characteristic that he has no control over. If that makes me opinionated, so be it. I will rather be an opinionated unifying force than a divisive tribalist.

See that I have editted your post below, i think you made those grammatical errors in anger.

Another comedic point, someone who claims to hate Igbos and thinks they are useless, calling another person a Bigot. grin Ironically comedic!

And to answer your question; Yes I know that a mad man always thinks he is better and saner than the people around him. That is the first thing you have said that has made sense, perhaps you should reflect on your own words.

I can't stand a person who dislikes another just because of his tribe; as such I am very happy that it is now clear to you that I should be avoided like a man with leprosy or whatever. Your efforts to stay out of my leprosy-infected radar will be greatly appreciated.

FolarinLondon:

It's quite obvious to me now that you are opinionated person who needs to be avoided like a man with leprosy....

Nobody askED for your senseless advice or opinion in the first place, just keep your repulsive and bigoted (big·ot
ˈbiɡət/: a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.)
opinion to yourself.

What is in Nigerian History? Biafran war? an Igbo man planned a coup. Hausas retaliated. Killing started. Is it only Igbos that have caused coups in the past? a few men do something dishonest, and you call their entire tribe useless

Half the people alive when these historic things happened are no more, but you are here, spewing tribalistic comments up and down, bringing your biased triabalistic views into an election that should have nothing to do with tribe.
It is Nairaland, not Yorubaland.

Your write up was offensive, triabalistic, discriminatory and totally uncalled for. It is no different from a white man saying all black men are criminals because world history has shown that we are always the ones committing crimes.

If there is one thing I have learnt, If a man does not want to see common sense, no matter how hard you try or whatever you say, your words will never make sense to him.

Forward thinking is not for the closed minded.

Enjoy your status as a "usefull" Yoruba man. Shey na only you and Hausas go go heaven abi na only una get Naija.

Read the comment up before every post, it says "Please don't make racist and tribalistic comments on this section"

Nuff said, I'm done with this pointless arguement.

FolarinLondon:

The entire write up is nothing but pure gibberish; All what you wrote up there made no sense.

Go and read Nigeria history in and out and come back here to dispute all the points raised in my write up instead of drooling over my post.

If your findings are contrary to my submission after reading Nigeria history, I ll gladly tender an unreserved apology

funny. Yoruba people trooped out enmasse to vote for GEJ in 2011 despite the Tunde bakare ish. I guess at the time our parochial interests as a people had not yet developed Since we were on your side. We are only self centred when we are not supporting an igbo man.

Nigerians and their short memories!

rhymz:
Yorubas March4Buhari...... It is so obvious that the polity of this country has very dangerous tribal shades of all sorts of irresponsible considerations and reasons.

All of a sudden security does not matter to thus folks again, all they want to do is vote even if the atmosphere smells of impending violence and chaos that will need the full efforts of the security agencies. Why is it so important to the APC that elections must hold on February 14th, unless they are up to something then I see no reason why this should raise so much dust especially in the face of the violence and obvious lack of capacity by the INEC to effectively distribute PVCs.

I will always say this, Yorubas play politics of parochial interests, it is so obvious that very little number are in for it because they want a better Nigeria, they are doing all these because Buhari is being propped up by the Yoruba political elite and has promised to concede some degree of political control, power, interests and influence to the people of the region. It is not about corruption or any positive change for them. But the fact still remains, either way, Nigeria is bleeped, I won't be surprised when the militants in the creeks starts their own problem which usually is more damning than BokoHaram killing a hundred poor northern villagers. It is a painful fact though.

You know when I stopped looking at gej's pictures? 1st of January 2012, he removed fuel subsidy. People cried out and complained and he said he would use the money to do something in portharcourt refineries and by August of the same year, with the refinery producing at full capacity, the oil prices would come down due to market forces. when people cried about standard of living, he said in the meantime, he has started a rail system construction to help people bear the hardship. He also said he has bought a hundred mass transit buses to help with transportation at reduced prices. They showed the pictures on TV. I was in abuja at the time and I was looking forward to entering gej's buses. This was less than a year after I voted the guy. I can tell you now that I never saw any of those buses they showed on TV. I don't know anyone that ever did. Those 100 white and green buses they showed on NTA, I am still waiting to see them. 3 years later, we still don't have a refinery functioning at full capacity. And fuel prices did not come down from N97 nairn until a few weeks ago when our president decided to give us a 10% reduction in pump price in response to over 50% reduction in oil prices, at a time when it would serve his political interests.

And despite the increase in power generation that was mentioned in that your thread, I am sweating as I am writing this post because we haven't had light for two days and my inverter ba3 is dead... and I don't even live in a rural area.

Pictures are easy to forge. It is the practical results of those pictures that we are yet not seeing.

Our president has done more than one good thing.
He has done many good things.

in addition to having elections that are more free & fair than under OBJ.

However, the Thief'nuibu cabal has been very successful in rubbishing all that good work with persistent personal attacks on the president that has worked on our mostly gullible fellow citizens.

Those who can remember will recall how a similar strategy was used against Fashola in 2009 until he had to BEG the JagaBandit to secure his second term.

it is not very smart to call an entire tribe "useless people" is it?

In fact it is insulting. And for my friends and loved ones who are Ibo, I find it very offensive. Look at how the person you quoted put down his points. I don't agree with him completely, but at least he made his point in a civilised manner.

I am Yoruba too, but my brother, you need to reform your thinking. That they are different from us with different customs and ideals does not make them a useless people, and it doesnt make us better than them. We don't choose what cultures or tribes we are born into , but we grow up in the environment God decides to give us and it forms the foindation of our beliefs. and if God had given you to an igbo family, you would still be a Nigerian but you will be every bit as "useless" as you say they are. One of our biggest problems in Nigeria is having hatred or dislike for a person just because he is from a different place and was brought up with different beliefs and a different language.
Watch your words oga!!! Your tribe was bestowed on you by a supreme being. it is not a tribe you chose or earned or did anything to deserve, so stop talking recklessly. And I find it particularly annoying that you are talking recklessly and you think you are talking on behalf of all Yorubas.

FolarinLondon:

Thank you my brother. Just a quick additional info to what you wrote about these useless people

They have been the sole problem of this great country right after independence and strongly believed that the colonialists saw this too.

Check out all their atrocities from 60s till date, it's undeniably shocking and bewildering but let me assure you that Yorubas are beginning to develop this same hatred of Hausas/Fulanis towards them and when the right time comes.......We ll separate the wheat from the chaff.

first of all, we have been fighting this same war within our territories for years. the war hasn't ended in 6years of GEJ's rule, it is unlikely another 6 weeks would make a difference.

Secondly; correct me if I am wrong, but GEJ'S title is "Commander in chief of the armed forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria". As a leader, the military cannot and should not be able to tell him when they want to do their job And perform their sworn duty.

Thirdly, GEJ has had 6 years to make good decisions when they would have been most appreciated, the reason why the electorates (note that I said electorates because even a common person like me thinks those elections being postponed was a stupid and inconsiderate move) question his "good decisions" now is because he doesn't have a track record of making good decisions. In my opinion, Putting the elections in February was a bad decision On its own. Postponing it to march is another bad decision. I'm waiting for his next one.
[quoteauthor=zeusdgrt post=30531945]All i saw on the twitter are bunch of foolish northerners and some western guys.if a country is fighting a war within its territory it is nt possible to hold an election in dt same atmosphere and besides the military said they can't and wunt provide protection if the election goes on.Is said to see dt every good decision our president takes these days is seen to be for vote which is wrong it just show how APC pple are so clueless and dull to the fact dt he is working[/quote]

I'm not a block head. And I'm not illiterate.
When you talk like this though, you come off sounding like one.

It's an election. that buhari has more of an accent than GEJ does not make him any less educated.

But Jonathan has had 6 years to show what he is made of, and in those 6 years, we might as well have left the post vacant after Yardua died.

If an illiterate can do better than a PhD holder, then he should be given a chance to prove himself. I dont think that is the reasoning of a blockhead or an illiterate.

If you want to score e-points, base them on real issues. Don't call millions of people blocheads or illiterates because they don't agree with your point of view.

I have discovered that only block heads, illiterate people are supporting their illiterate brother,Buhari.Birds of feather flock together.

@madjune has made a valid statement.

If Good luck had done one thing that was spectacular, just one thing, we the people would have been the one begging to re elect him. he would not need to campaign.

Lagoshians practically begged Fashola to run for a 2nd term. Tinubu campaigned when he ran for 2nd term, but he didn't have to. He was always going to win because people could see the effect of his leadership.

Because of their successes as governors, Ambode would likely win LAgOS state even though in my opinion, Jimi Agbaje might be the better candidate; but that's the sign of a good leader. A lot of people have said that they wished Fashola was running for president. Because he did his job well as a governor.

GEJ'S strategy to win this elections is obvious.

1. Cash in on our two biggest fears about buhari, the first being that voting for him would open the doors to the northern rule that we fought so hard to get out from, the second being that buhari might turn out to be the next gadaffi.

2. Potray himself as a common and simple man and elicit our sympathy and through that our votes.

3. Use backroom Tactics and a series of smear campaigns to destabilize buhari and at the same time highlight his flaws (both real and imagined).

If Jonathan had a spine, he would focus on the real issues, the relevant issues like buhari has done through this campaign. If Jonathan was not so clueless, he would campaign with verifiable facts like buhari has done, instead of calling those things that be not as though they were.

The truth is that GEJ cannot base his campaign on the real issues, because They would highlight his incompetence so his only tactic is to say "hey, I may be a corrupt, good for nothing, spineless, clueless leader, but look at my opponent, he might be a religious dictator; at least I look harmless"

I say we vote a man that is a potential leader, not a man that has proven himself to be a sorry excuse for aone a leader.

In My Humble Opinion
