I had to go look up the site for the first time because of your comment. From the front page it was a mirror of nairaland. No ingenuity on their concept. They didn't have to do a replica of nairaland to get persons to develop interest in their site. Secondly you had to be a registered member to view the threads. Didn't quite sit right with me so I left the site. From topics I saw there, they were more of gossip blog contents. I won't be going back there.

Judging by the comments on this thread thus far, it is now making sense... why one girl some years back during NYSC kept on referring to the university (Igbinedion) at every opportunity when having a discussion. Me (born & bred in the UK) being ignorant surrounding reputation of Nigerian Universities couldn't understand why there was so much emphasis on "In Igbinedion no one did so and so...me and my friends at igbnedion do this etc. How I wish I had known in retrospect..lol
