Based on my late father's Nigerian Civil war records, this man Achuzie (Hannibal) struck fear into the hearts of soldiers and their commanders on the Nigerian side with his uncanny ability to turn the tide of war in favour of the Biafran side even in very difficult or hopeless situations. He was to the Biafran side what Adekunle (Black Scorpion) was to the Nigerians side (at a time) and to think that a practicing Engineer (then based in P.H.) and without known military record could transform to become a commander of commanders in an impromptu war (for him) is a feat on its own! He was always posted to battle fronts deemed to be the toughest or to rescue a bad situation and his arrival at each war front was said to always elicit shouts of joy and celebrations by Biafran soldiers?! To most at the war front (and even beyond), I read that the fear of Hannibal (the god of war) was the beginning of wisdom. These records has information also on a Biafran commander, a Major by rank (even while on the Nigerian Army), who was mocked by the Nigerian side (after the war started and he became a Biafran Major) as "Major Retreat". This mock name was based on his poor battle command abilities that saw the 'retreat' command becoming his most well known command for his troops! 4 Likes 1 Share |

You see why Buhari/APC would continue to fail It is because lying is in their blood!!!The government of Goodluck Jonathan commissioned the 1st Nigerian made drone and was deployed in the fight against Boko Haram successfully, so which one is he commissioning as the 1st I recall that it was a kind of competition where the army built and armoured vehicle, the built a small combat/crew ship and the airforce built Nigeria's 1st drone!They were deliberately quite on the on Jonathan's achievement of the 1st drone and refused to be humble enough to admit that his government built the 1st?! How many Muslims that forcefully take (abduct, kidnap) away young christian girls, convert them to Muslims and marry have SSS (not DSS, for that is not their true name) arrested so far !!!Even after there a national outcry and the papers (both print and online) relentless publish on it, but the very 1st case of conversion without forceful marriage the SSS took over the work of Nigeria Police!!! hatchy:I hope you understand Abaribe's current argument on the issue? In simple language, Abaribe is saying that he stood surety for Kanu and had him in close touch all these while. And that if the Army (led by Burutai) had not gone to his house to fight, abduct or whatever, he would have still been in control and would have been in a position to produce Kanu to the court! But now he is not, cos it is the army that knows where Kanu can be found by virtue of Kanu not being seen or heard from after army (Burytai) went for him at his house, a location where he knew he can reach and get him for the court when needed. Rather, it is now the army that can answer on where Kanu can be found! |

That University is owned by a church, as such what you can get away with at Unilag, Uniben and other government-owned universities can earn you a sack there and I found out that these are communicated to students, lecturers and other workers at the point of entry?! Check yourself again and be sincere to yourself in your self-check, mainly cos I know that even in government-owned universities, expulsion is not something that is done flippantly! 1 Like |

Simple: Available reports from the Middle Belt, South East and South South indicate that bulk of the farmers have stayed away from their farms to save their lives!
