If this is so, we are forced to believe that this God is very incompetent or malevolent.
This is a literal life or death situation, God has the answer, and creates a book with that answer, then goes through great pains to disguise that book as a badly written book of fiction, riddled with contradictions filling every book.
He fills the book with magic, bam!!! Strips the modern world of any vestige of it.
It almost feels like it describes history of an alternate universe.
A few of those contradictions include the genealogies of Jesus in Matthew and Luke, if I was to accept that okay, maybe they refer to different people, the chronology still doesn't add up. Same with the birth of Jesus, the chronology for that one is all over the place, what with Mary and Joseph fleeing for Egypt till Herod died yet being in Jerusalem for Jesus' eight day ceremony. The various accounts of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the conversion of Saul, the Amalekites being wiped out completely THREE different times .
If the lord God wanted us to believe in his word. he should have done a better job on it. No matter how you look at it, God is either incompetent or malevolent, an incompetent God might throw you in hell by mistake. And do you really want to worship a malevolent one?
Of course there is a simple answer for this, the bible is a book of mythology just like any. Crafted by fearful tribesmen of the iron age to explain what they did not know. It is a relic of the past and should be treated as such.

of the Kages. Madara himself is just as
conflicting, too, which is unfortunate since
some of his boasting is actually enjoyable.
A good line delivered in a disappointing
situation
However, the novelty of that line is quickly
lost when he reveals that he’s been holding
back his full strength. This is another
example of the crucial strength of the Kages
being trivialized, which does irreparable
damage to the overall series. Furthermore,
the metaphor Madara uses to explain his
comparative strength is awkward at best;
an adult would have no reason to fight a
pebble. Madara’s logic is sound, but he
chooses the wrong term to emphasize the
Kages’ relative insignificance. Even a trite
comparison to ants would have been better

In a completely unsurprising turn, Sasuke
has become more pathetic than ever.
Centering this entire arc around his reunion
with Itachi has given him multiple
opportunities to see the error of his ways,

to do. For Sasuke to snub reason like this

but doing so after being confronted with
the truth from Itachi, the very character for
whom Sasuke idiotically sought revenge, is

brought full circle back to his state before
this arc began. Such a refusal to evolve
renders everything that happened with
Itachi and Kabuto meaningless, since
Kishimoto has made it clear that Sasuke is
far more important than other characters.

The chapter makes other significant
mistakes, most notably in its portrayal of
Naruto, the protagonist of the series, as a
side character, simply because he isn’t
involved in all the Uchiha drivel. Also, Edo
Tensei might finally be ending, but the
chapter leaves little reason to celebrate.
While it’s not quite over yet, the entire
Shinobi War has been awful, with only
Naruto meeting his parents standing out as
a moment of true quality over the last few
years. Aside from that, the entire balance of
power in Naruto has been forever changed
by yet another Uchiha, and the series’ last
hope for a quality post-Orochimaru villain
self-destructed in the most pitiful way
imaginable.
At the end of this chunk of Uchiha plot, the
series is right back where it started, with
Sasuke stealing the spotlight from any and
all other story lines the series has to offer, all
of which are better than his laughable quest
for vengeance. By finally crushing the hope
that Sasuke might ever change, which was
distinctly possible after his initial meeting
with Itachi in this arc, this chapter cements
Sasuke as one of the worst characters in
manga.
Final Flash: An absence next week is just
what this series needs. After that, the focus
must return to Naruto’s fight with Tobi,
which can’t possibly make up for this past
arc, but could still be interesting.
