Sorry I forgot to update you guys.
The guy called me on July 14th 2024 but I refused picking his phone. He called severally but I ignored him. I later charted him on WhatsApp. He started talking on how we can settle then I told him to send me 900k but he said no. He said was it because of that I froze his account I told that he doesn't even know what awaits in from.
Later same July he went to another branch of his bank because his account officer has told him his account was in danger so he started avoiding where he opened the account. So the day he went to another branch he was arrested. The bank took to the nearest police station as that was what the court order said. The police DCO quickly called my IPO who called me immediately. I went to his office the next day. The guy's relations started calling me that they want to settle with me because I told them I will come and carry the guy to the East and I will take him to court. His people agreed to send the money. In less than 3hrs they sent the 500k. I told them to send extra 150k so I can settle with police. Police took 85k and I left with 65k.
Later same even when the guy had bailed himself at the police station, I called him on phone where I was enjoying with his 65k with my family and friends and I told him am enjoying with his money. I reminded him of my promise that he can never eat my money.
The police court route is the best just be patient and you will recover your money |

EbubeMiraclee: good evening what if the scammer is using a Moniepoint account Any account he is using will be affected. The court ordered that his BVN be black listed. The bank was served yesterday by the police so hopefully next week he might be arrested. Will updated everyone later so people can know it is achievable |

Blankstare: Good one. He will surely be arrested. Do you have lawyer friend that can help you do a pro bono when he get arrested? He will be so scared when he sense he will confronting two case; police and civil case...he will rush to cough out the money, nobody likes double litigation.
Just make sure you are fully ready for his evacuation, because police will call you at any bleeping time.
Goodluck. This year no gree for anybody. The matter is a criminal one. Obtaining money under false pretence. The IPO handling the matter is well grounded in such case. He showed lots of file they have handled and succeeded while some is still in progress. Am happy the police still track and arrest criminals duping people of the hard earned money. I will succeed |

Goodluck. This year no gree for anybody. Yes everything is in place. The court order will be out by Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Once you are ready to do your own side of the bargain, police will do theirs. I told the guy in a very plain language that he doesn't have such strength to seize my money. This phase one. By next week, I will drag him to Enugu Ezike in Nsukka and that is where he will enter the real hot seat. If you allow people go away with whatever they do, they will think that is the normal thing. I am fully prepared for him. Already set aside 100k for the matter |

Blankstare: Do you know how you can track him personally? Do your maths well, because using the CID route will eat in to the 500k....phone tracking alone is 50k, and might be successful or not. I have started the process with the police. They have taken statement. I have paid for the court order to restrain transactions in all account with his BVN. Money will go into it but the guy will be arrested and he will spend too. I know his base but I don't want to go there. He may gang people and wound me. Once he enters bank, he will be arrested and the police will be alerted so we go to pick him. The nature of my business is such that we see such in the market on intervals. The next spending will be on picking him which will be costly because we are not in the geopolitical zone but am not deterred. Whatever comes to a man, he face it. |

Blankstare: Blocking the scammer is your best bet, the person will be arrested whenever they come for withdrawal or any form of transaction Sent 500k for someone for goods. We have been doing business. I just stopped picking my calls. I have vowed he can never eat my money instead we both keep spending. I think I should start with police and then court order. Do you know if the CID is the best place to go or just any police station. |

SIRTee15: If your plan of relocating to UK is to build a mansion in lekki or maitama u better stay back in naija. Except u are a professional and u coming straight out of the plane to work as a professional, saving 400k per month with a family to feed is a mirage. It will take u at least 4 to 5 good years of hard work, acquiring new skills, determination and little dose of luck to be able to save 1000 pounds monthly. UK at the moment is not a joke. U need to have a good job to enjoy the place. So if u have a good job in Nigeria I wouldn't advise you to come. I doubt what you wrote here. Making ₦400,000 in the UK after expenses will be that hard in one month even at high exchange rate. Am beginning to doubt the sincerity of information on this forum. A friend encouraged me to relocate. He is doing well with his family. If it has gotten to ₦400,000 a month then no point coming |

OmoGomesIlorin: I meet this lady in December 2019 and by 2020 we had the opportunity to connect with each other on a friendship level. From my interactions with her and observations, she is cool-headed and calm, intelligent and ambitious. Her skills match someone I dream of marrying. She is from Anambra, state - Umuoji
However, as a low-budget guy, I am weighing my options due to stereotype of demanding for a gargantuan bride price.
I want to know if what people are saying online is true or exaggerated
Editted You are simply broke. I pity any woman that will agree to marry you. Nobody finds a wife and begin to think about bride price. You are just broke and shouldn't have anything to do with marriage or you marry from your poor tribe |

zoozl: Hi - my wife plans to visit Nigeria for this first time in the next few months. The nature of her trip is rather sensitive, but her hope is to be able to visit rural areas, such as remote villages or farming communities.
The current plan is for her to fly to Lagos and onwards into the countryside. Currently she is researching Ogun State given its location, but is open to other suggestions.
At the moment she is looking to find a suitable company or person who can provide tour guide services - mainly to assist her with travel and language barriers etc.
Can anyone recommend? There are some services listed online but it is difficult to know who is legitimate or not.
Thanks! Ogun is not that safe. Young youths commit all sorts of altrocity there. The Eastern part like Enugu villages is safer if you can afford it. Just be very careful and why would she travel without you. Anything can happen in Nigeria and the security is not working. I did advice she stay behind |

This is not a case of being suspicious, she planned everything before leaving the house that very day. I know the guy sef might be on this forum reading this. 😉😉 Then let her know. No point keeping quiet. While telling her, let your face express your disappointment dispite all you 've done for her and also let her know the implications should she continue in her wayward ways. It is not easy but choosing to marry is not a crime. Women can be something else once empowered. Don't allow the situation disorganise you. |

Insultme: Now I don't feel like having sex with her.
I always think about how someone can leave his husband and go to a man's house cause of 3 bags.
Some are saying it is too early to divorce her.
Some are saying I should forgive and let her swear that she won't do such thing again.
Some are saying I should think of how much have spent in total and not allow the devil to push me to take irrational decision.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Did your wife knew you were aware of her movements? If yes what was her reactions. It is from her reactions you can predict her next move. Let her know you are aware she is keeping a date outside and watch her body movement. Whether she will be remorseful or not. From there you can form a decision. The worst in marriage is suspicion |

Luchiano54: UK would have been the easiest for her but as it stands now, it's been quite difficult for Nigerian Nurses to get jobs because of the "red list" factor. I know this because I have friends and colleagues who have passed their exams but have not been able to get even one interview slot despite numerous applications. Nonetheless, she can still try as peoples experiences differ. There are still some Nigerian Nurses that are lucky.
A second option is for her to register as a Midwife and not RN. This is because more Nigerian Nurses are getting job offers and sponsorship as Midwives. For now, that route never cast.
As for the USA,the timeline for someone that resides Nigeria is minimum of 18 months. Someone has already sent you a link for USA pathway. Go check it out.
Your wife should make YouTube her friend. There are lots of videos there for nurses who want to migrate to the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Germany. Thank you. She has started the process. About to write IELTS once passport is out. She will try both though the plan is to go to USA through UK. She will register as a midwife or any other that will assist her in getting job in the UK while still in Nigeria |

I told him my wife is working and i will get a job as well and i have been applying from my home country, he asked what work is she doing and if I have gotten a job offer already...i said not yet still applying, he just gave me back my docs and stamped me in.

Travel › Re: Nigerian Students Who Are Now Americans, How Did You Do It? by Eaganguolly(m): 11:07am On Jan 23, 2023 |
TWoods: If you review step 7 in your link, it lists the process, exactly as I laid it out.
If you gain employment in the US to work as an RN, you have two general options:
a. Get a temporary visa and move to the US to work while your application for a green card (I-140/I-485) is being processed. If you're Canadian or Mexican, you can work with a TN. All other nurses will need to obtain an H1B.
b. Have your prospective employer file an I-140 application right away. While this is in progress, you cannot travel to or work in the US. Once this is approved, you then file for a green card through consular processing. This process can take 2 or more years. Why would an employer wait that long when they can bring you here faster on a temp visa (option a) while you're waiting for the green card process to run its course?
Yes the H1B lottery is highly competitive but is not impossible. Being an RN does not change the process... you are just like everyone else. No special exemptions. Don't know much about the US citizenship processes. I heard once Nurses pass the NCLEX exam, they will be issued green card with their family. |

efilefun: If it’s student route it’s better both husband and wife come in while the kids stay back at least for 6months or thereabout depending on their age… when just the student come in, it will be difficult to raise money to complete the school fee and live. But with a partner that can work 40hrs and above then you can take care of your bills. Another thing the OP failed to mention is that everywhere ain’t as expensive as LONDON. Also the UK compromises of other countries which are not extremely expensive to live in. For example in Northern Ireland you will get a very comfortable 2bed duplex for 600£ monthly and you can get a job that pays close to that weekly after tax if you take overtime shift. We are not going on student route but on work visa though one person will move first will the rest of the family stayed back for some time. Moving the whole family at a go might be quite expensive and settling down could be challenging. |

Ukborn: if you get the chance to come to UK please do, if your on settlement visa or work visa and you have spouse with no kids even better. you will do well. All the best to those coming. Are you suggesting spouses with children should drop their ambition. Does it mean it is too expensive to train children over there or because of who will take care of them while the other works. Thanks |
