There is dignity in honest Labour. The man has more honour than all the thieving politicians put together. |
tee4naija:We all are in the same Nigeria please stop fantasizing. |
biotechshola:Then he should tell every other corrupt person to let "bygones be bygones". He sang his voice hoarse with "fight corruption" mantra so there should be no sacred cows. |
Suspicious. |
This has got to be the most incongruent headline I've seen in recent time. Absolutely nothing in the write up to buttress the headline only mere speculations no concrete indices to suggest any improvement in the economy. I can wake up and and put up my heading "Saraki's arraignment causes the naira to slump" after all that is what actually happened. The political instability stirred up by the arraignment has caused the naira to lose against the dollar. APC is just a propaganda machine. |
This is the exact same story that made front page yesterday repackaged with another name as headline meanwhile the person who brought in over 3kg of crystal methamphetamine that is even worth more is not headlined. I just see a very deliberate attempt at stereotyping. https://www.nairaland.com/2622507/student-caught-lagos-airport-10.255kg |
How can one compare tramadol to methamphetamine. Tramadol that is readily available in pharmacies as an analgesic (yes it can be abused) and the weight is only 2. 8kg compared to over 3kg of methamphetamine crystals a very addictive drug that is worth 1000x more than the tramadol. And the writer almost swept it under the carpet by treating it as secondary when it should be at the fore. |
This shows how narrow minded and petty her critics are. Someone who nurtured our economy to become the largest on the continent is shunned by the blood suckers in government who need her most. Those who know her worth have secured her services. Meanwhile, the body language government is determined to reverse all her achievements by plunging our economy into chaos. |
I hope this is real. Need to wait for confirmation. |
ibedun:Read the full name. |
No southeasterner. He should continue his marginalization. |
dandollaz:He was already on his way to board a flight before the accident happened, he simply went ahead to travel. |
magicminister:You are incredibly stewpid. |
laserjet:You should be sure of the right tense before attempting to correct someone. He was right.
|
Primitive behaviour. Why beat up a policeman when the cause of the pursuit is unknown? Why would any innocent person attempt to evade the police? |
Another photo session. |
Okorocha is a failure as governor. |
ElFenomeno1:It is ridiculous, what kind of image is he trying to create by making this FrontPage news. A citizen obeying traffic lights. |
This is one of the most annoying topics I've seen in recent times. |
Congratulations to her, very well deserved. A talented actress. |
They vehicles you are comparing are not in the same category. Rav 4 is a compact cross over Edge is a mid-sized crossover Santa Fe is a mid-sized crossover with 3 rows. You did not indicate the year of production so I'm assuming you are shopping for a brand new vehicle. |
This is terrible. I know it is a federal road but the state government(Imo) can take some palliative measures while waiting for the completion of the road. It was the rivers state government that assisted in the completion of the rivers state portion. Kudos to them. I don't know why Rochas is so insensitive, he has been jumping up and down with Buhari but cannot put across pressing issues like this to him. Lalasticlala please help. |
This man is not Nigerian apart from his name. He has hardly had anything to do with Nigeria. May he RIP. |
Instead of using the money to educate the large illiterate populace in the state they will rather purchase jets and fly about in luxury. Oligarchy is evil. |
kenis:That's nice. Look at the beautiful green hill in the background. |
Why has Obiano totally neglected Aguata and environs? The major road passing through Ichida, Igboukwu, Isuofia, Ekwuluobia has failed and the section at Nkwo market Igboukwu down to the museum is now impassable. Vehicles now have to divert into a private road through Igboukwu and the road is now under serious strain as it was never meant to carry heavy traffic. Apparently the road is an FG road built by Ekwueme when he was VP, however, some palliative measures can be done in the failed portions of the road. Last December i saw a 'willie is working ' sign post there but they just poured laterite and abandoned it now that place is a nightmare and much worse than it was. |
Finalists for two significant literary awards, the Man Booker Prize for Fiction and the National Book Awards, were announced this week (Tuesday 15 September) ahead of the fall award season. For the second time in its history, Britain's prestigious Man Booker Prize is open to writers of any nationality, generating a shortlist of authors from countries including the United States, Nigeria and Jamaica. American novelists Anne Tyler and Hanya Yanagihara were among the six authors who made the shortlist for, respectively, "A Spool of Blue Thread" and "A Little Life." Marlon James, who wrote "A Brief History of Seven Killings," is the first Jamaican-born author to be shortlisted. Chigozie Obioma, author of "The Fishermen," is the second Nigerian to be nominated. British authors Tom McCarthy and Sunjeev Sahota also were shortlisted, respectively, for "Satin Island" and "The Year of the Runaways." McCarthy is the only author in the 2015 crop to have been nominated before, having been shortlisted for "C" in 2010. The prize, which celebrates fiction written in English and published in the United Kingdom, previously was open only to authors from the United Kingdom and Commonwealth, Republic of Ireland and Zimbabwe. It carries a cash award and significant buzz. The shortlisted authors each receive £2,500 and the winner will receive £50,000 more. The winner will be announced on October 13 in London. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/09/16/living/man-booker-prize-fiction-national-book-award-2015/index.html

yes oh kick off |
Which one be EHORECON ![]() It sounds like a subsidiary of a subministry. I am very sure Buhari knows nothing about this. |
Hembelembe:Are you for real? That is shocking. |
I pray he is found. |

I ask u, if someone almost sacrifices everything he has just for u to achieve ur goal, wil u be so ungrateful by immediately goin after him once ur goal is achieved
