Your view on the role of opposition is definitely based on APC's pull him down methods.

The opposition works to shape the government for the better and in this case it has worked.

The government was arm wrung into visiting those victims because of the wide spread condemnation.

America refused to assist Nigeria because of gross human rights violation by the army. This should not just be swept under the carpet as insensitivity by the Americans.

While extrajudicial killings are bad your second paragraph is not entirely true.

These people are terrorists who are willing to blow themselves up, they are not for justice as we interpret it but want to rob people of their fundamental rights to education and religion.

Whether their leader was tried or not it would not have changed a thing.
