arresa: Akpabio built a few roads and 1 flyover
Amaechi built many roads
Amaechi built many flyovers
Amaechi built many bridges
Akpabio built 1 football field
Amaechi built a sports complex with a larger capacity FIFA regulation stadium, with olympic size swimming pool, volleyball, lawn tenis court, basketball court and more
Akpabio did not build one single school
Amaechi built dozens of new schools
Akpabio did not build 1 hospital
Amaechi built many hospitals and hundreds of health centers
Akpabio did not build 1 skills center
Amaechi built many
Akpabio did not build any water work (Apart from his village overhead water plastics)
Amaechi built waterworks
Akpabio has zero visionary projects
Amaechi built a metro rail
Akpabio is a loser, a gross failure and sad burden on the people of Akwa Ibom.. Yes Amaechi's monorail has been ferrying millions of PH residents to lala land. His already dilapidated never to be completed stadium will host 2018 world cup. His phantom new PH city project is the next Dubai. The collapsed flyovers he commissioned are UNESCO heritage sites. Even Amaechi is laughing at you.

He overthrew a civilian government any has the guts to talk about democracy.
He jailed Fela and is he is fooling around telling people about freedom of speech.

Stage 4 cancer medically speaking has a poor prognosis.
It means the cancer has already metastasized.
For the senator to say his son was cured in the US does not add up. Many patients in this state are in severe pain and are often depressed.
They are mostly on palliative care, and wish to spend time with their family and loved ones in a familiar environment, this is probably why the deceased opted to return home.
It is an irony that politicians who almost never patronize public hospitals no matter the circumstance will now turn around to blame the doctor for treating a patient in his private practice. |

Infant it was Yar'adua who degraded BH capacity but the process stop after his death and BH grew thanks to weak leader @ the Top Our emirs are ceremonial the have no powers all the can do is advise. Yes some of our leaders have failed us but we must hold our president responsible for the 1.5m refugees Thousands of death military and innocent civilians “Pres Jonathan watched helplessly as Boko Haram moved from Sambisa Forest to take over a large chunk of territory in Adamawa, Borno &Yobe states & proclaim a Caliphate. President Jonathan watched helplessly as Boko Haram abducted almost 300 girls, holding most of them for over 200 days &counting. His Administration is even mocking & harassing those who are campaigning for the release of the girls insurgents, & all that he has demonstrated so far is sheer cluelessness & Incompetence, it is time for him to take responsibility and quit in the national interest, to pave the way for a better leader. never in the history of any nation has incompetence and cluelessness been exhibited by any leader, as President Jonathan When Ihejirika made gains against Boko Haram your northern leaders who are in support of Boko Haram took him to court. If the locals want Boko Haram to end it will. |

ogbronx: please in your wisdom, kindly suggest how they would do that. Should they find military uniforms and go on rapid and fast military training to fight BH by themselves? Do you understand why a country has the arm forces and various security outfits? Na wa for pple reasoning oh! smh! A group such as Boko Haram cannot thrive without some degree of local sympathy and support. These people live in a community, and are either locals or foreingners, either way the community knows its own, it know what Mr A does for a living either a farmer, blacksmith etc, so when Mr A or a certain Mr B suddenly emerges or begins to partake in unwholesome activities, the community will know. Remember, we are talking about small towns here. The local government area councils (which is mostly a monthly under the tree money rationing venture in the north) can start strong community policing. The religious leaders can do more by the way of strong condemnation and even excommunication from Islam for those who partake or aid in such activities. (They mostly keep mute). If every northerner(or an overwhelming majority) is strongly against terror, it will not thrive. |

Properties › Re: How We Built The "Luxury Block Of Flats" In Enugu by eaglechild: 7:15pm On Nov 02, 2014 |
spyder880: Let me be a little blunt here, Screeding walls is a fad which just caught on in the building industry!
Surprised? Okay I will explain.
Back in the days as we all remember, people build their houses, insist on a quality plastering and dressing work and later paint their houses as normal. Of course the walls will never be perfect, but what is?
We have products in the market which we use to fill up cracks and indentures on the walls to level the surface before painting, we all know of paint "filler" a product made to help painters do a good job.
But people wanted more, our search for perfection led us to screeding wall surfaces to ensure a smoother finish. First it started as an inside affair, then we started using it on external surfaces, now we even use it in storage rooms and generator houses In fact, some people now insist on screeding or they will not like the house.
Togolese workers first started it here, then Nigerians copied it, (trust our people to mess things up with our hurry hurry, quality is dropping) and now it is reigning so much like every other new thing introduced into this country. It is no longer a need-to-have item on the home owners menu, its now a must have for most people. And building costs keep going up.........
Please note that I am not against screeding walls in anyway, but we should always weigh our choices against other competing needs. Will discuss this with pictures later. What an interesting insight. When it comes to tiling what is your view on spacing. Looks like most tilers have also started doing away with spacing. Talking about the Togolese, they are really very good artisans. I noticed they bevel their skirt tiles to avoid accumulation of dust. |

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by eaglechild: 10:06pm On Oct 27, 2014 |
B2mario: Mr. Man your case is quite different from the case of Onyegecha(mrs/miss). Your problem is that you want Rochas to open a multi faculty university in Orlu and environs but you've never denied that Rochas has tried in the area of education, industry, road network(both urban and rural), cities expansion and beautification , health, hospitality, trade/commerce, etc. Atimes if i look at your case, your agitation seems to be just because you want your Orlu to be as develop as Owerri and compete with it in all facet of life which everybody can wish for. But Onyegecha will tell you that outrightly Rochas is a scam and has failed imolites, which i don't like. She has said repeatedly that imolites are facing worst road, worst education in Rochas regime and that Rochas has failed imolites and should be kicked out of office in the next election while the same Rochas is the best gov Imo state has ever produced, he has surpassed Mbakwe. Mbakwe did not build any University(pls ask gov. Ike Nwachukwu, he's still alive), his work then was centered only at Aba and Owerri, he did nothing in Umuahia(Michael okpara's home, where he said they broke his father's jaw of wine), Orlu(Collins Obi's area), Ohaofia and Okigwe(Amadi ikwechegh can tell more from his grave), but today the same Rochas Mrs. Onyegecha called a scam is building 2 universities in Imo state, one at ogboko and the other at Mbaise, I'm sure of 2 polytechnics, one at Orlu, former TESEIC and other at mbano, many colleges and schools(eg, the school of health technology at Okporo), he revived Avutu poultry, imo Ada palm and Oguta wonder lake, he's developing Owerri and at the same time paying serious attention to Orlu and Okigwe. Mrs. Onyegecha is a heartless liar and i believe she's a staff of Nairaland cos she has banned me many times because i said something good about Rochas which was true and was what i saw with my eyes. She has been trying to cover the main truth and can lie without conscience. No right thinking person can have the gut and say that Rochas has not done well in imo state cos the things are there for one to see whenever one is passing imo state. I pass imo state virtually every week and i know that before the inception of Rochas govt there was nothing like Malaysia mkt in Obowo, relief mkt in Owerri and Mgbidi, Orlu shopping plaza, Okporo shopping plaza, new Orlu building material mkt, no single dual carriage road and street light in Orlu and Okigwe, nothing like Heros' square, no free education, no University facilities at Ogboko and Mbaise, no school of health technology facility at Okporo, no skill acquisition centre at Okporo, no Imo anthem, no free school uniform for school children, no children parks at Orlu and Owerri, IMSUTH was almost collapsed, Rockview Hotel building was an abandoned property, Owerri was not the way it is today, no much rural roads(though Udenwa tried in the area of rural roads). So Mr. Man don't question me if i don't want to engage her. She's far from Imo state and can not ask question from people within. The use of paragraphs and line spacing makes for easy reading. Rochas is a mediocre administrator who has his head in the clouds judging by the nature of ridiculous projects (many of which are abandoned) he embarks upon. Abandoned street gates Abandoned round abouts Abandoned flyovers. Abandoned street roads Abandoned stadium Soon to be abandoned "free" education Soon to be abandoned hospitals |
