Obviously they will give the new administration some weeks to settle down and then if no progress happens they will resume. You don't make noise just for the sake of making noise, how realistic is it for Buhari to find them in less than 2 weeks huh Even the parents understand he'll need sometime but I'm sure if no significant efforts are seen with a month then you will hear the campaigners.

Remember that GEJ was given sometime, he refused to even address the issue for weeks till the world raised an alarm

When some of us said that it's almost impossible to kidnap 230 (about three luxury buses) girls at a time without any security agent being aware of it, some people called us names.
.
The problem with Nigeria is the #pullhim/her.down mentality.
.
There were no 230 Chibok girls missing. The Northern elites sold Nigerians a dummy and many bought it without questions asked.

I BELIEVE CRAMHONES WANT PEOPLE TO KEEP INSULTING PMB. THE MORE HE 'PRETENDS' TO BE DEFENDING BUHARI, THE MORE PEOPLE WILL KEEP INSULTING BUHARI AND THIS MAKES HIM VERY HAPPY.
I also believe CRAMJONES has a personality disorder, he may be bipolar. Or he is simply using The Reverse Psychology method.

Buhari is now apparently a one- man government.

he apparently makes state visits by himself

He apparently negotiates with fuel marketers by himself

He is going to attend G7 summit tomorrow by himself no doubt.

He is apparently unable to form a cabinet despite having over 2 months to do so.

It is not the Buhari that I know and trust.

Something fishy is happening.

It was during Ihejirika's time that Boko Haram really felt the might of the Nigerian Army. But sadly, the Northerners felt he was rather killing the 'innocent' and went on ranting.
A. I. should say something about all the people who have lost their lives and have been displaced because of this Boko Haram thing.

discusant:
But if Abacha were to be alive today, majority of people of the SW region shall vote him president of Nigeria, instead of having Jonathan of Otuoke with his Igbo crew in Jonathan's cabinet continue in Aso Rock.

Buhari was a key associate of Abacha during the period of tormentation of Abiola family by Abacha.

.Buhari told the world that Abacha was not corrupt while Abacha's loots were being returned to Nigeria from all corners of the world.

Nigeria is a country wrestled to its knees by ethnic/religious bigotry.
Tell them ohh. When Abacha was hounding the Pro Democracy activist(full of Yoruba people) from one point to another, Buhari never raised any objection. His silence and participation in that ignominious government was a tacit support to what was happening. If Ababa had come back from the grave to contest against Jonathan, I believe Tinubu and his people will still have chosen him over The Otuoke man.
So what is the point in celebrating people like KUDIRAT, MKO, BOLA IGE, AJASIN etc if their people is still wining and dining with their oppressors?
OBJ, was in prison during Abacha regime
Diya was also there
MKO(the biggest loser of all) died because of his insistence on his mandate. But come June 12, some deluded people will be celebrating their own democracy day.

Hausas also sent more than 3millions igbos to their early grave. What did you do about it? Other than online chest beating.
They died in a time of WAR. What exactly was Kudirat fighting for? At the end she was wasted by the Abacha regime, who went on keeping her husband in jail until his death. The same Abacha that was set to kill OBJ and Oladipo Diya. The same Abacha who sent many of the Yorubas on exile, Including Tinubu.
It was the same MAN that our PRESIDENT once exonerated of Corruption. The alleged killer of Kudirat was set free by GEJ because he saw that it was pointless keeping him in prison, since the aggrieved was no longer concerned.

jorlons:
On PHRC, I think I'd rather stick with the assurance given by the Managing director that they'd start supplying PMS by first quarter of 2016.

I never said Dangote refinery will supply its PMS free, rather it will complement the capacity of our govt owned refinery thus increasing the capacity of crude that can be refined per day. Also, PMS from Dangote's refinery obviously cannot be priced at the same amount as those imported, the price most definitely would be cheaper.
.1

Again, had the money realised from the partial removal of subsidy been put to good use during GEJ's administration, nobody would have objected to a total removal.
.
2

Total removal of subsidy will give room for healthy competition like you rightly said but it will certainly take awhile for the prices to drop as a result of this competition. What if it takes two to three or more years for the price to drop to a reasonable value??
3
I will start with 1.
.
Do you know it's cheaper to import the refined fuel than to refine at home? And that's why we have been importing ever since our National refineries went comatose.
So Dangote building refinery or not will not stop importation of fuel.
.
2
.
In the first place there should Never have been a partial removal if Nigeria has supported a TOTAL REMOVAL. But NO. The gullible masses played right into the hands of the CABALS/ELITES.
Do you really understand the magnitude of Fraud that goes with this so called SUBSIDY? I bet if you know, you will not even talk about partial removal.
.
3
.
Yes it will take some time for things to normalize and prices of refined PMS come down. If it had been done then, by now we would have started adjusting.
Cos even if Buhari removes it now, prices will first hit the roof before it starts normalizing due to market forces.
So HEAD OR TAIL, the elites/cabals still win.

[b]When I look back to the resistance put forward against subsidy removal by Nigerians (of which I was among), I think it's safe to say we did the right thing.
[b]
You'd agree with me that subsidy was removed partially, question is what did GEJ and his cronies do with the money to encourage a total removal ?? The answer is, nothing, absolutely nothing. They were rather using the money to sponsor various SCAM programs.

[b]PHRC will begin its operations in the first quarter of 2016, Dangote's refinery comes on stream in 2017 this will boost our local refining capacity while at the same time cutting down on imports.[b]

In addition, PMB may likely be handling the petroleum ministry portfolio so I have no doubt that whatever decisions he takes will be in our interest.

Cc lalasticlala OAM4J
When I started this debate I made a submission that head or tell the RICH/ELITES/LEADERS always win.
.
Now look at the bolded in your argument.
.
PHRC WILL BEGIN.............2016
DANGOTE REFINERY ........2017
+
PMB may likely handle the Petroleum ministry.
.
WHAT IF PHRC never begins?
So Dangote refinery will do what exactly? REFINE ALL THE PMS WE WILL USE AND GIVE IT OUT FOR FREE........(Elites)
Okay, you didn't support it then because GEJ didn't keep the portfolio in his office like OBJ.
And Buhari keeping the portfolio, he won't need to work with all THE CORRUPT PEOPLE IN NNPC or what? (Maybe they all became BORN Against?).
.
Now to the unhighlighted.......
.
If the Subsidy has been totally removed and partially, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO MONEY TO SIPHON IN THE FIRST PLACE AS SURE-P or whatever.
.
Do you now get my submission. Remove subsidy, and let the marketers go to the market and source their product and sell as they see fit, their by bringing about COMPETITION.
.
If A gets his for 100, he can sell for 110 or 120
If B gets his for 115, he can sell for 140 or 130

.
They are business men and at the long run the market forces will normalize things.
.
But now we are back at TOTAL REMOVAL OF SUBSIDY, which we would have done in 2012.

I'll still give this administration the benefit of doubt to ensure funds saved from the subsidy removal will be put to judicious use.

I never trusted the GEJ administration to do anything positive with it.
If I am correct, GEJ was elected President in 2011, after having served as a Acting President since 2010. But you couldn't give him the benefit of doubt (WHY IF I MAY ASK?)
.
Now, do you think EVERYONE IN NIGERIA TRUST THE BUHARI GOVERNMENT?
DO YOU THINK EVERYONE WANTS TO GIVE HIM THAT BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT?
.
You see why I say Nigeria is a funny Country.

Our fears was not the subsidy removal but the corruption in that sector which wasn't being tackled before its removal.

If fully removed then, GEJ and his cronies would have still looted whatever excess funds was saved.
And has the CORRUPTION IN THAT SECTOR been tackled?
IF FULLY REMOVED NOW, WON'T SOME OTHER PEOPLE NOT LOOT THE EXCESS FUNDShuh

If it weren't for TUC, and the OCCUPY Nigeria nonsense in 2012 we would have moved forwarder than subsidy.
