Why do you suppose I am an atheist ? Is it because I believe upwards of 99% of the prosperity preachers are frauds ?

For your information I believe in God and I am a practising christian - the fact that I dont buy the crap that the prosperity frauds are selling does not make me an atheist. The converse is also true - choosing to believe the fraud perpetrated by 419 charlatans does not make you a good christian.

There is enough information out there to show that at least some (if not majority) of the prosperity preachers are frauds.

Jesus himself said so there will be many false prophets - so why should they not be exposed ?

Ok it seems there have been some crossed lines here - I thought you were advocating making it illegal to be gay and it seems you think I am advocating the promotion of a gay lifestyle in society. I am not - what I am saying however is that if two people say they are gay and want to sleep with each other - there is nothing the rest of society can do about it. The only thing that can be done (which you dont support) is some form of punishment - which as you rightly pointed out is barbaric.

I did but I would have liked him to have tried to expose the charlatans (e.g Benny Hinn, Copeland etc).

Have you noticed it is only in Africa that these fools make these outlandish claims ? If they tried it in a country where proper records are kept they would be found out immediately. Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland and co have been ministering (lying/stealing and cheating) for years but they know better than to claim they can raise the dead - their prominence will immediately draw unwanted attention.

It is not a natural progression for things done in private be extended into the classroom or anywhere else.

I dont think homosexuality be taught as a way of life or promoted in anyway - but gay people should not be discriminated against. There are people who are born gay - why should they have less rights ?

Homosexuality is not contagious - you are either gay or not - you cannot be converted into an homosexual.

I am not suggesting 'gayness' be taught in schools or promoted elsewhere in society - where did you get that from ? We dont have to follow the 'west' in everything they do.

However what two consenting adults do in private should not be my business or yours!

You also have no answer to my original point, do you ? These men of fraud never put visibly disabled (amputees, physical deformities etc) people up on stage for healing. It is always ailments that are not visible(stomach problems, athrithis etc) that they claim they can heal!! Why ??

There is no doubt about it more than 95% of these prosperity preachers are frauds - Oyaks, Ashimodollar, Oyedepo etc.

Why is this miracle unshared ? With this prosperity charlatans there is always a 'but' to the story.

This miracle should have been celebrated in her church and beyond if it was real!

I am approaching this from the point of view of a christian (who believes in God and miracles) but does not believe in the prosperity charlatans who are out to make money from the poor and vulnerable in society.
I wonder at times if these charlatans actually believe in God at all - if they did would, why would they fake miracles ??

Do you guys (defenders of the prosperity gospel) realise how much you try and twist the bible to suit your false (or more charitably, mistaken) beliefs e.g moneybag = treasurer = rich (my local club has a treasurer does that mean we are rich ?? )
