Last year I refused to celebrate my birthday or post anything about it, because I felt that I failed on my target of soul winning and the standard of God's work I wanted to accomplish in His name. Two days before my birthday an old man on our street called me and started saying nice things about how we started CGC and how far we have grown in a short time with little finance. I saw the praise of men but deep down last year I was always crying to God that I'm failing and not meeting up to His standard of work, I was always heart broken, I Isolate myself alot, crying to God to give me zeal to do more, three times he told me "I'm the Lord your God". Anytime I cry deeply trying to know if I have left his way and start doing it my way. There's nothing that scares me more than working for God and not walking with God. Someone might say there's healing and deliverance happening in the Church, why do you still feel that way? But the truth is that I felt that way regardless. I cried to God a lot asking if I'm walking alone in his name. 5 days into the new year we declared 3 days fast without food, trying to know the mind of God for 2023 but he didn't say anything deep, only individual things. On the day of the cross over, we started prayers to cross over and the Lord spoke and told me that we are not going to work into 2023 alone, we are walking in with Jesus. I declared it to the Church a minute to the cross over we all starting shouting "2023 here I come, I'm not alone, I'm coming in with Jesus" some thing I never witness in my life at crossovers I have attended or hear of happened, the power of God came down as we enter the new year, delivering and anointing people, it was power of God in action. And I Knew this year that no matter what, I don't have to worry anymore because with the outpouring of the power of God, is the proof we are not alone in this 2023. Greater glory awaits us walking with Jesus. With faith we are not going to let go of him (Jesus). Believe with me, and lets continue the journey with Jesus, never allow anyone or Friends to make you slow down, this year will be filled with results and great stories. I believe in miracles.

Let's hold hands together as we follow Jesus in 2023.

The question is not why am I not blessed, the question should be how can built capacity to sustain God's blessings. And we can't build capacity without the Holy Spirit, to sustain what we have, we need to work under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The bible says the Holy Spirit will teach us all truth and tell us the future with this information released to us, we will surely become someone great we properly use it.

Last night I finished praying with the topic "Lord I coming out from all places of my captivity in Jesus name". When I went to bed, I saw myself coming out through many locked doors. When I got to some they opened by themselves. Why, I had to raise my hand and wave it before others could open? This happened till I made my way out. When I got up I was grieved by the arrogance of many ministers who are struggling and never know they are in a place of captivity. It shocked me because despite the miracles, testimonies happening in the Church this could happen to me, it humbled me even more. Truly we perish because of lack of knowledge. Spiritual wars are real if you are spiritually blind you won't understand. Only those with spiritual eyes could see.

The Lord is asking us to leave our place of bondage. A Lot of Christians know what is pulling them back from God, but they love their captivity, hence remain in bondage, even though they have been delivered, they refuse to work in the freedom that has been given to them by God. Some do this out of ignorance, why some knowingly stay in bondage because they think that's all there's. Today God is calling each and everyone one of us to leave the place of bondage we who call him our God, He is calling us to walk in the freedom he has given us.

A Christian is constantly at war, because he has an enemy that wants to stop him by all means. Jesus knew this that's why He told us about it in John 16. One of the signs you are doing well is the amount of vicious response the enemy throws at you. He hates to lose what he controls, and when he sees that his captive is free, he fights back to create fear and panic. Fear like we said before is a door, that gives the devil access into the life of a Christian. Satan don't give up easily, Jesus told us not to be afraid of this saying He has conquered. Our responsibility is fight with faith in prayers, because Jesus has given us the key to wage war against the enemy. Many Christians when faced with these attacks always ask, why me? Jesus says in the world you will have tribulation, he didn't hide that fact from us. When we complain and cry, that's exactly what the devil wants. God was angry with the children of Israel in the wilderness because of their complains. And devil knows this and wants you to do same. But those who know the secret, know once the devil is attacking, something good is about to happen and he wants to create fear in order to steal it. If you show fear he will steal it and you will think God never answered you, if you are bold he will never take it away from you. A warrior don't win battles with fear, battles are won with courage. Be courageous for the Lord your God has given you victory, don't let the enemy steal that testimony from you.

Text: 2 Peter 1:3-4


Why are we waiting on God, the question is are we waiting to get from God what he will give us anew or are we waiting on God to direct us or release what he has already given us? The Bible says in our text above that God has given all we need in life to live a godly life. It also says that these things were given to us according to the knowledge we have of Him. That's why my prayer is no longer God bless what I'm doing but God show and direct me to do what you are blessing. Because without having knowledge of divine action happening around us, we will miss the wave of his blessing. Peter says that Jesus has helped us to become partakers of his divine nature. That's why when I see Christians saying, you know we are just human beings, I know that they missed the point of Jesus' death. Jesus didn't just die to cleanse sin, he came to make us live in spirit, meaning we are spirit as much as we are flesh, when we allow the spirit to lead us we will be able to know when and how to activate God's blessings. The problem is not if the blessings have been given, the problem is how to make it a reality in our lives and it can only come through step to step with Jesus with obedience to the word seek first the kingdom.

Jesus teaching in the above scripture shows that the essence of our existence as Christians is so that we might bear fruit. The easy way to live Christian life without knowing the power thereof, is repent, attend Church regularly, pray normally within some years you will develop doubt because your Christianity will be a torture. Jesus was very clear, every branch that bears no fruit will be cut off. For this reason many are in the Church and they don't know and have never felt the power that resurrected Jesus Christ. Each and everyone of the believers are called to be part of soul harvesting. If you are not serious with being a believer, the devil will make you religious, you will have the knowledge and lack the experience and the power. You will be in Church and yet your life will be empty. A Lot of believers hide under the lie that God didn't call them or ask them to preach, trust me such a person will backslide in no time, is not a rocket science. We are called to give our lives as Jesus gave His, we will never know the reality of the gospel until we take our mandate seriously.

Fear is a familiar enemy, we have been used to, to the extent of subconsciously thinking she is part of us. But the Bible awakes us from such deception. The Bible says fear is a spirit of its own, meaning fear has its own personality and it is not from God. To a believer anything not from God is a stranger, I understand we are deceived because we are taught fear is part of our nature. The devil can't successfully defeat us without using fear, our failure starts with a small amount of fear we allow to grow into a mountain. Fear opens the door for the devil to walk into a believer with sickness and all manners of problems. The Devil motivates his children with fear and God motivates His own children with love. God says the spirit he gave to us is love, boldness and sound mind. Indicating love is a personality, boldness is a personality and having a sound mind is also a spirit. Wow, you understand why you become overwhelmed with love sometimes? This means you can speak to fear and it will hear you likewise the other personalities like love, boldness and sound mind. Time to start speaking to that fear of failure, fear of poverty, fear of starting business, and fear of obeying the word God has spoken into your life. I rebuke the fear of sickness, the fear of death and fear failure in your life in Jesus Name, by faith accept the spirit of love, boldness and sound mind. The devil has nothing on you as long as you have these 3 spirits.

Unforgiveness is one of the little innocent wrongs that can ruin destinies and draw one way from fulfilling the purpose and the will of God in their lives. The danger of unforgiveness is that you think you are doing the person you are angry with, but little did you know that many of them are enjoying their lives, while you suffer self inflicted heartbreak, pains that can cause you a health problem you can't handle. Unforgiveness is a personal prison, one innocently in prison himself. My first attempt at holding grudges against someone was 8 years ago. We were into music and he was doing Christian music. He wanted to go and visit a music marketer. I gave him my CD or demo as it is called to help me submit to the marketer, he took it and told me he gave it to the marketer little did I know he kept it in his room. When I met with the marketer after many months, he denied receiving my CD and when he listened to my song he agreed to market it. I was very angry, because the marketer was willing to market me and he whom I called friend stood on the way. Shortly God called me. And I saw myself in vision walking into bible school but when I heard my friend's voice in the Bible School I turned back and said I'm not going again. When I woke I understood God didn't want me to hold unforgiveness in my heart and I immediately made peace with him without even telling him what he did to me. I know he will be reading this, but it is ok, I'm just sharing for lessons sake. We are still cool though. My calling as pastor would have been destroyed because of unnecessary anger. My question to you now is who are you holding prisoner in your heart. Is time to free them, God is saying to you let my people go. Is all for your own good, if God can open your eyes to see what you are losing, you will know you are not doing anybody but yourself. The scripture above says follow peace with all men, not some men, not your tribe, no, but all men.

Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, by your Holy Spirit please give me a forgiving and loving heart. I thereby free and release everyone I held captive in the prison of my heart. You said if we forgive, we shall be forgiven, I believe I have received your forgiveness as I forgive others in Jesus name Amen.

Topic: God has given us all things

Text: 2 Peter 1:3

The only way to maximize and enjoy our family wealth is to have full knowledge of all the things that belong to the family and how to activate them for our use. If we lack this basic information, we will suffer in the midst of plenty. And that seems to be what many confessing Christians lack. The Bible says we perish because of lack of knowledge, not because God hasn't provided for us, not because the devil is powerful and not because of the environment. But simply because of the level of information we have, we can't benefit from or maximize what we don't have knowledge of. That's the major reason you can't listen or read the word of God, even though your spirit longs for it. That's one of the reasons you sleep when the word of God comes up. The devil will do all in his power to stop us from studying and practicing the word of God. John says when we know the truth, the truth Will set us free. The devil doesn't want us to be free so He makes sure we hate the word of God. Even though we cry and beg for the blessings that come through the word. Peter says everything we need has been given to us but we will only enjoy it according to the knowledge we have of him who has called us. So we suffer not because we are not blessed but because we lack the knowledge that will release our blessing, that's tragic.

Oh dear Heavenly Father teach me to know you and understand you, give me the full knowledge of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and deliver me from the place of ignorance in Jesus name Amen
