His failure cannot be forgiven and he may be an imposter. But you my friend, your own flop may be groundbreaking. I won't even start with your wari but its something very simple that even every child in Opobo knows.

@Kel4soft, Let me put you under scrutiny to know if you are truly an Opobo guy as you claimed. Failure to accept it means you are an imposter. Its just 3 questions.

This belongs to the trash can. Biafra is not a compulsion. You can as well remain in Nigeria if you like, or join force with them to achieve your Ijaw republic. Nobody is forcing you to buy the idea of a sovereign Biafra. Every group shall be equal, having its own autonomy. Biafra shall not come through violence, but by a referendum, freewill and unity of purpose.

By the way who is to say that you Ijaws (@tonyebarcanista included) here on Nairaland, are not actually Bayelsans, claiming to be from Rivers state? Better go back to Bayelsa, and stop meddling in River's state affairs.
This is what gullible true Riverians and even some myopic (SE,SW,SS) fail to see. Both Barcanista and Truckpusher may not be from Rivers state as they claim. The duo are pure Izons from Bayelsa. There is a big difference between someone born in P/H and someone who hails from Rivers. Some of them are yet to forgive Abacha for isolating them from P/H with the creation of Bayelsa out of the old Rivers.

I'm an Ogba man from Egi land to be precise which is home to two major multinationals , with an arable land mass and constant supply of fresh water from river sombreiro and Orashi river.
I'm from the Imeagi family and my mom is Epkeye( Ahoada ) agwolo ishi koloko family of akoh family.
I bet you have no idea what these names means .
So pray tell how am I Igbo( Isoma) ? How are we related.
Does cultural affiliation determine ones ethnicity ? You have German speaking people in Austria and you've got French speaking people in Belgium does that change their identity. You even have English speaking people in Brittany in France soil does that make them English ?
You have the Navajo speaking people in North America can you classify them as native Americans or American Indians?
My friend go and sleep and stop hallucinating here and end your phantom agitation in your five Eastern states because any attempt to encroach an inch into the land of the Niger Delta man shall be met with the use of force.....Go figure..[/s]...

You said you're from Opobo Jaja family . So why are you finding it difficult to answer that simple question.

The Igbos said that Opobo and Bonny belongs to the Igbos and I want to hear from the horse's mouth because you're from there.
Once again , does Opobo belong to the Igbos ?
How can you ask him that question. Opobo is a hybrid community between the Igbos and Ijaws. But unlike Bonny that was founded by an Ijaw, Opobo was founded by an Igbo. Not many people knew that Opobo was once in Cross-Rivers state before it was carved with the Obolos to Rivers. Not many even knew that the Ijaws fought for years to remove the Jajas from the throne. Opobo is a sovereign community just like other ethnicity in Rivers. They do not call themselves Ijaws nor Ibani. They call themselves Opobians. Ijaws should respect their decisions and let them be.

What useless right. So if for instance, I have relatives who are Edos, does that gives me the right to meddle in their matter, than you who is a bonafide indigene. Think!
We know our differences in this state, despite our unity as one people. But in burning issues that concern Biafra, you must understand that there are some of us who are sympathetic to it. A typical Kalabari man is drawn to a Niger-Delta republic, while a man from Onelga is drawn to Biafra. We are not against their agitation for an ND republic, but what infuriates us is when they try to paint the last protest in P/H, as one carried out by exported SE Igbo. A big lie that is entirely false. It may interest you to know that my grandfathers platoon as well as some folks from Ahoada where among Biafra's last line of defence at Oguta during the civil war. I am a through bred Egbema dude for your information, and if at that time our fathers never compromised, is it we their children that would abandon our kins during this trying period. Try to differentiate between us, (including the Oyigbos and Etches) to the Ikwerres when it comes to the relationship with the SE. We don't have any animosity towards the Igbos.
Apologies for my initial abuses, but the truth remains that the likes of Truckpusher are not really telling you the truth as par the ethnic components of Rivers state. They want you to see the state as an anti-Igbo entity which is false. I'll advice you learn more about us before you make biased comments again. Peace.

Exactly. Let Biafra be by choice. I respect the decision of others who don't want to be included. The same way I want others to respect my decision if I opt for Biafra. Life is a matter of choice, they shouldn't be any compulsion to accept something you do not want. I accept the decision of the elders as regards their people, however, let them also accept the decision of my own people.

Just because you lots are everywhere doesn't mean you should start laying claim to what's not yours.

There is a huge difference between State of Origin and State where you were born.

Do a research your great grandparents were migrants in Rivers State.

For instance I am originally from Edo State, just because I didn't grow up there or know much about my State doesn't mean I should forget that's were my family came from.

Its a simple logic so use your brain please.
You shameless Italian. Never ever in your miserable life compare your Edo witch conundrum with us who are genuinely from Rivers. Nonsense. If you no get sense you would have known that those names that spoke out, spoke on behalf of their own people. Except these Ijaw group have you ever seen other Igboid groups speak out against the Biafran agitation. Use your tongue to count your teeth. Rivers state is a conglomerate of many ethnicities. The same way an Itshekiri cannot speak for an Urhobo, is the same way a Kalabari cannot speak for an Ikwerre. Dey use your head.

Candyrain:
Easy lady, there's really no need for all this exchange of words. I understand where Chiwude is driving at. We all know that the people in the forefront of this Biafra agitation are the Igbos and from what we all know if a referendum comes 95% of Igbos will vote YES. Now these other people, Itsekiri, Isoko, Igala and others that they are attending IPOB's meeting isn't enough to make tell that their entire people want in. The best that can be done is when it's time a referendum will be done for them to decide if they want to be part. Nobody is saying they won't be allowed to be part if they want to but we shouldn't be the ones going after them and speaking for them. One thing is certain which is that our Igbo kins in the SS would never be left behind. They are first Igbos before becoming SS. Is there are 100 Itsekiris and only 5 attend the meeting and believe in the struggle then it's not enough. The 5 will have to go convince the remaining 95 and give them reasons why the Biafra actualisation is better of for them. We have to appeal to their understandings, give them reasons why they should join. Just shealth your sword sis, there's no need for the confrontation with Chiwude.
You spoke like an elder. Everything that Chiwude said is the reality on ground, unless fools wants to shy away from it and cry later at the end. The focus of the IPOB group should be on all Igboid tribes[SE/SS]. No matter the sins of the past we still share a whole lot in common. For us in the S/S the idea of becoming a minority under an Izon/Edo dominated government is something we don't even want to think about. We rather join our kiths and kins than go with the Niger-Delta Republic. If a good deal can be struck with Biafra, even the undecided amongst the Ikwerre's shall be at the fore-front of its actualization - although a good number of their Youths are IPOB members.
So the objective now, is to strengthen the Igbo areas, then in the long run, you strike a deal with other willing minorities interested in joining. Under the deal, a mutual agreement shall be signed to protect their interest.

Politics › Re: I Am IGBO But Nnamdi Kanu Is WRONG About The Biafra Map! by Eastlink(m):
I got this from Chiwude's link.
Chiwude( m):
Last week a significant event that shook the
frontiers of Nigeria took place. Local newspapers
and broadcast stations screamed it while foreign news outlets reported something that seems like a
peaceful protest against the arrest and detention of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu by the DSS. The protest was carried out in cities of the SE and also in pro Igbo-SS cities as Asaba and Port Harcourt. I may not be in support of the balkanization of Nigeria, or the IPOB tactics in achieving it. Yet, one must not shy away from the fact that the call for succession is real and that the hand writing on the wall may one day come to pass. Many reasons have been alluded to this, but that is no what this letter is all about.
However, after the protest in Port-Harcourt tempers went high in the social media, especially
from those who kept insisting that no indigenous
Riverine took part in it. For them, only imported Igbo youths from the SE organized the peaceful protest.
However, when the list of those arrested by the security agencies were released and which showed a good majority of Igboids (Ikwerres, Etches, Ekpeyes) and Ibibios the music changed to an outright proclamation of the inexistence of anything related to Igbo in both language and association in not just Rivers but the whole South-South. Articles rented the air to declare that they were no Igbo in the South-South and of which seek to limit the Igbo nation to just the 5 South-East states. It is fair to state here that these articles weren't propagated by the Yoruba's or Hausa's but the vocal minorities of the South-South - chiefly led by the Edoid and Ijoid groups. Evidently, these minorities are selfishly acting the script of the post civil war days when many of these Igboid tribes were detached from the mainstream Igbos with lies and propaganda for exploitation and to keep brothers at daggers drawn.
There do not even want a future UN referendum to ascertain the true stand of the Igbo subgroups, but
it is clear, that there are after a compulsive allotment of these groups into their phantom Niger- Delta republic.
In the light of these and more, it is pertinent that IPOB keeps the focus of Biafra within Igboland (SE,SS,NC). There is need to strengthen these areas first, and stop chasing after shadows. The more you keep including the unwilling minorities into the picture, the more you make Biafra a charade. It is after when you've cemented the Biafran ideals in the mind of all Igboid subgroups, gotten their approval and gone a step closer to a UN sponsored referendum(like the Scottish) that you can decide to include willing minorities with a laid down mutual agreement into the fold.
The republic you agitate for is clearly not what other minorities may want. For instance, the Ijaws
and Edos are oil conscious and have an underlying agenda towards their own pursuit. The Edos and Ijaws on one hand seek a large expanse of land and intend adding up the Igbo speaking areas of the
South-South into their lorded Niger-Delta republic.
Beware of the innocence hearted minorities who
would go to an extent with their divide and rule
tactics to cause mistrust in the mind of the
undecided S/S Igboid groups into allowing you
leave them to be carved into perpetual bondage.
Their intention is different from the intention of the
Ibibio/Efik/Ananng/Oron/Ogoja/and to a lesser
extent Ogoni who only seek a level playing republic to protect their interest with existing semi-autonomous regions, where there won't be a superior or an inferior and a country built on the
tenets of liberty. These are folks you should consider into your new country.
Anything other than these will fail.
Politics › Re: An Open Letter To The Igbo Nation And Other Pro-Biafran Activists : By Chiwude by Eastlink(m): 1:48pm On Oct 28, 2015
Your article is on point. If and when Nigeria disintegrates everybody should answer their Papa name. The Edos should form their own republic, the Ijaws should form theirs with willing groups, while the Igbo nation does the same with all it's subgroups and other willing ones. Anything other than these is a recipe for disaster and conflict.

You are extremely stvpid to suggest am not Ikwerre..You are a plain idiot.

Feign ignorance if you want but the systemic refusal by Igbos in the Eastern regional govt to grant Ikwerres CofO in Enugu wenever we needed to erect buildings in PH was one of the ways to sideline us and ensure we were relegated to the backdrop in our ancestral land.

Ofcourse you're Igbo, a people known to sell their mothers and fathers for money, you can deny your place of origin at will, but im Ikwerre and would never claim anything else...You can go and die.
I'm Igbo and I can beat my chest anyday to say that even if a gun is pointed at me. You're are not Ikwerre and that I can vouch for. Ikwerres are proud of their ethnicity. They do not hide under a facade identity for mischief. Ezepromeo is an Ikwerre and so many others. They dont go around contradicting themselves when they are out to make a point. I repeat you've been busted before on this forum by fellow Ikwerres and the links are intact. You can keep deceiving the SE Igbos, but you cannot deceive us. I'm not doubting your Riverian status, but you've been told to desist from speaking for the Ikwerres. Since you want another round of disgrace, I'll be forced to litter again nairaland with those links if you don't face your own ethnic group.

There are many reasons i dislike Igbos, one of them is the fact that Ikwerres were made to watch while Igbos built houses on Ikwerre ancestral lands excluding us from owning anything in PH.

The reality is that only a serious push can get us back our lands...But we can never forget the part played by Igbos.
Your comments keep contradicting you. Why would owners of a land be stopped by immigrants from building their houses. I have busted you many times on this forum. But the SE Igbos who cannot differentiate between an imposter and a true Ikwerre keeps giving you relevance. You're not Ikwerre, never was and will never be one.
