[quote author=ladylco post=82826595]Pls those of you that did online application did you pay any money when you went for passport submission? Please my dad is at vfs office right now for passport request submission and his been asked to pay #14200 pls what is this payment for. I've already made payment for the application online. The payment is compulsory, it a VFS fee, it has nothing to do with your Application Fee. It the fee you pay to VFS to transport your passport for stamping. It not a courier fee. |

[quote author=Dedzstar789 post=78772324]That is why I said I give up. It actually makes no sense. It’s 3 weeks now. Someone was telling me they held on to her husband’s passport for 7 weeks after an original passport request. I don’t know again. I’m jut tired. And the fact that they don’t respond to my emails. I’m very tempted to go to the embassy tomorrow because at this point it’s kidnap of passport (lol). which embassy email did you send your email to?was it lagosimmigration@international.gc.ca; am surprise they are not replying. you do not need to go to the embassy because you wont be attended to, only people with appointment are attended to |

Dedzstar789:It really long, passport wait and application processing wait are really taking long this day, They should just put the visa sticker and return the passport, just dont understand , just to put ordinary sticker for passport, it hard for them, something that takes 3 working days before now it taking weeks, or was the passport request sent by mistake, they should just sit up in that Lagos office and work. I will be going there on Friday to check if my daughter passport is ready because i submitted 10th of May. |

[quote author=Adagody post=51738405]Hi everyone, I stumbled on this forum 2 days ago when I tracked my application and on cic website, it said 'final decision not started' but vfs said my passport was ready for collection. Timeline 1/11/16: submitted paper route 18/11/16: medical mail 24/11/16: medical done at consultant practice 1/12/16: medical passed update on cic 6/12/16: tracked via and said ready to pick 8/12/17: collected my visa at vfs lagos Congrats on your application.Did you summit your CV and educational qualification ? or is it not important in SOWP? |

I think there is nothing like first come first serve in Canada visa application, getting scared while looking at the processing time because i want to apply for my husband and one year old daughter in January, i think i will go with the paper route, i believe it will be better than online. |

Gymme: What about bank statement , is it not part of the requirement? if it is, where do you include it? Also is the applicant education qualification also a factor to determine SOWP approval? |

Skiiiwalker: @Skiiiwalker i do not think it because of your previous US refusal...I also was refuse a USA visa which i did not declare, because i applied with my daughter and she was refused visa while i was approved, My daughter Gcms note now review that i have been refused a USA visa twice and i did not declare it, CIC even quote the month and year i was refused , But i was lucky because it did not affect my application because CIC stated that they find me as genuine student because i was an MBA student....so the reason the delayed my daughter is because CIC say i never travel and come back before, say my ties for Nigeria no too strong. They also delayed my daughter for purpose of visit which the Gcms also state that my purpose was to study not my sucking daughter to accompany me and that her ties is stronger in Canada than Nigeria. I tell my husband please bring my child to canada oh, unless i no go travel again, My TRV dey for inside cupboard since one month now dey chill my husband will now apply with my daughter for a visiting visa because he has good travel history |

bjmme: @Jmme Let me come in, USA visa is where luck come in more than Canada Visa or UK visa....I have seen many people that Got USA visa on luck, where by such people do not have the necessary document to convince the Canada or UK visa officer. You can pick a shoe marker on the street , package him well with document and he can luckily by God grace get a USA visa , but you cant try that with Canada or UK. In conclusion if you give Canada what they needed, bet me, they will also give you what you need, yes we all know prayer works, but let take it out of visa application and apply right. |

emma4eva: I ordered for my Gcms file after i was refused for insufficient funds for my MBA, so this was the VO summary why i was refused. 1,You claim your spouse and brother are both paying for balance of your tuition fee and living expenses but you did not provide evidence of relationship. 2,both sponsors claim they are business people but i did not see an evidence of business in there statement of accounts. 3,both sponsors balances are not sufficient enough to pay the balance of your tuition and living expenses as promised. Statement of account of my husband was(5.6 million) while my elder brother was(6.9 million). I have already deposited 10,000 Canadian dollars as tuition deposit, and have a balance of 23,000 dollars as balance because my tuition fee is 33,000. I was refused in July 2015 after medical call up, so my husband have to work on his finances because he decided to act as the sole sponsorship without my brother as co sponsor. So I applied in April, attached his international passport copy, white wedding pictures, traditional wedding pictures, court wedding pictures, church wedding certificate, court wedding certificate and hubby age declaration certificate as prove of relationship to sponsor. I presented a statement account of 12.7 million with total cash inflow of 32 million. The account had good inflow and during the time of visa application he made a deposit of around 5 million within one week which was spread and the day he printed his statement of account a deposit of 1.2 million came in few minutes before the statement was printed out. But all the money that came into his account came directly from his business account to show evidence of business activities. I also attached his CAC document without Tax clearance certificate. he also presented his Domiciliary statement of account of $10,100 united state dollars My husband wrote a well detailed sponsorship letter indicating how much will be made available for my study. Other document remain on charge, so that was how i tackle the problem of insufficient funds and got my TRV. 15 Likes |

meekmk: @ meekmk you like money oh, you are talking of your wife working, i was expecting you to talk how your wife will take care of her baby first before you talk of working, or do you want to go to school while your wife go to work and the little cute baby girl stay at home? Unless you are considering day care which is very expensive in Canada. You will have to apply for visiting visa for you cute baby girl while your wife apply for SOWP. The duration of the SOWP validity will be the same as your study permit. 1 Like |

emma4eva: Do not use agent to complicate issues for you. You have learnt enough here and why will you allow your dad get an agent that will charge you and still complicate application for you. Your case is very easy when denied for insufficient funds, all you have to do is to request for you Gcms file and know the true reason. I was denied for insufficient funds last year, requested for my Gcms file, got the reasons and work on it, now i have my TRV looking at me every morning. Please run away from the ignorant agent and request your Gcms note. 10 Likes |
