Ok,thou in Northern Nigeria we call the band Mendiri mostly played by the hausa Muslims people.I love watching football in viewing centres because of them because they make the atmosphere beautiful and fun and yes,the average hausa guy can spend the whole weekend watching all the matches to be feature for that day,they so love love football including their local league.

One of my sweetest experience in a football viewing centre is watching the Liverpool vs Barcelona second leg game in which Liverpool won 4 - 0. One thing that made this experience interesting for me was that the viewing centre was partly filled with my Muslim brothers that came with their band that's normally called bandiri if am correct You need to see how the viewing centre was turned to a bandiri playing centre in which everybody that supported Liverpool turned choir that night as in ehn its one match experience I can never forget so easily as Liverpool was giving us joy with their goals those guys with their bands too were entertaining us with their song also to the extent those barca fans were almost shedding tears at the viewing centre.......

I really doubt that so called "tradition" is common outside the major towns and the State capital. This is a rural area and has kept to certain Church "traditions" agreed upon by some Church elders for whatever reasons. Unfortunately, since 2018 when there was a massive religious genocide in that area carried out by the Fulani Terrorists with full support of the Nigerian Army and Federal Government....these Fulani Terrorists have only gotten emboldened during the senseless tenure of their fellow cow herder Buhari....

That whole area is a ticking time bomb. My urgent advice is for the Christian indigenous people of that place to be very alert and prepared. Never ever think the State Government or Federal will come to help you. You have to collaborate to create your own Security outfits and possibly arm yourselves to the teeth for defensive purposes.

The only people that can stop a Bad Guy with a gun....is a Good guy with an even bigger gun. The Fulanis and Muslim Terrorists all over have shown that they are the lunatic bad guys with guns that can never be reasoned with....the wild ass spawn of Ishmael that will be against everyone and everyone will be against him....just as the Holy Scripture foretold. That's the tradition of some Churches in the North here,when your wife to be comes from a far village or city and she doesn't have a relation in the town where the wedding will be held,she won't be allowed to sleep over in a hotel,or friends place because they might meet with groom and have sexual intercourse before the wedding day so the church will provide her accommodation in the church premises where the pastor along with his family will be her host till the wedding day.

Congratulations to her but there's really nothing special about her selling yarn and sponsoring her own education. It's mediocrity that makes us celebrate females who work in Nigeria, if it was a guy who was selling this yarn and sponsoring his education no one would celebrate him. We have this mentality that women are created to enjoy while guys are created to suffer and that's why we celebrate this kind of mediocrity. Back then in school, there were guys who leave the hostel with their school bags, you'll think they're going for lectures but they are actually going to do labour work in construction sites just to feed and buy books and they return in the evening like every other student. No body will celebrate them but if it's a girl she'll go viral. We must stop this nonsense and start seeing ladies who work as a normal thing. That's the only way olosho will reduce in our society

That's how Nigerians love glorifying and celebrating mediocrity,the things I did before graduated from school is legendary,I work my ass as if I'm gonna die to survive.I worked in a bar,I carry cement,I did labourer,I sold water (Mai ruwa) and some other hard labour to sponsor myself but nobody ever celebrated me.I did what I gonna do to give myself education which I know I rightly deserve, I'm proud that I never did anything evil to be the person I'm today.
