Islam › Re: What's The Proper Punishment For A Muslim Apostate? by EazyMoh(m): 11:02am On Jul 01, 2016
Antina:
Let assume one of ur siblings change religion, will u kill him or her?
A sentence for any offense can ONLY be carried out by a competent Shariah court under a recognized Islamic leadership.
If you catch a thief you wouldn't chop off their hand, that's jungle justice.
Islam › Re: What's The Proper Punishment For A Muslim Apostate? by EazyMoh(m):
Seun:
In your view, what is the right punishment for a muslim who says, "I don't want to follow Islam anymore. I want to be a Christian (or Atheist)"?
Oga I was about to petition you, but your mods have done the needful.
The right punishment is death penalty under a recognized Islamic leadership of authority. This means there most be an Islamic established law endorsed by majority of the Muslims, otherwise NO One has the powers Islamically to execute or sentence any offender.
Like in case of Nigeria, The Sharia law is restricted by the constitution and the Shariah court can't sentence an apostate in Nigeria, in fact it's not a crime, and so it is in most countries.
Those quoting "let there be no compulsion in religion" are actually mistaken, because that situation is referring to a situation where the person is initially non-Muslim. You are not allowed to force to accept Islam. You only fight them when they try to stop you from propagating it to others who might be interested.
But If a Muslim commits Riddah, I believe the Islamic scholars agree that the punishment is death penalty.

Lol I use a BB10 but this doesn't bother me. BB10 already supports. apk android apps mostly. So all BlackBerry would do is to provide an upgrade to the OS, all BB10 devices are upgrade enabled. besides WhatsApp would never want to lose users in such a bulk.
Those to suffer this development are lower and mid range android users, as 98% cannot be upgraded to higher android OS, they are stuck with their initial version till death. So all those with OS below the required version are technically knocked out.

OGA no disgrace yourself o? You no dey shame to dey lie? see it here where you asked for the names of 'jigawa representatives' as you put it.
I don't insult people even if they deserve it! So if you can't discuss issues do me a favour and gerrahere mehn!
It just so happens those that represented Abuja and won are Igbos, I guess those that represented Abia (and by extension the whole SE) came 5TH behind Jigawa (and the whole NW in extension) with good ten points. Or those that represented Abia must be Tangale then since don't prove your tribe superiority rhetoric!

It was not reported in the news, but I know they are students of Science Secondary School Kafin-Hausa. What will you bet if they are indigenous sons of Jigawa. Am going to make calls, but I joke you don't be a coward and renegade on your promise.

Now they want to apply zoning. Wen it comes to education the North will remember zoning.

Yet these same dull North insist of ruling this country much to our detriment.
Look at you it's just common grouping like it's done in football tournament. You win your group round and proceed to the next round till a champion emerges. What has this got to do with zoning?

Jigawa defeated Abia, the SE local champion, and Abia defeated your darling Imo together with Enugu and the rest. So Jigawa has defeated IMO! in fact all of SE!

i am not disputing d fact dat u re correct...buh lets look at it frm dis angle... dis so called original components has only one difference from fake components which is RELIABILITY. apart frm dat nothing else...
secondly, why do i hv to use full wave rectification(s) which require 4 different diodes when an half wave rectification of less amount of diodes can also do wat i nid tho not dat efficient compared to the former.? those original charger can rectify like 4 times ...
the bottom line is dat oyinbo's wahala is too much
Well good thing you know what you are talking about, but personally I learnt to patronize original things even with their 'over design/specifications'
Due to non reliability of the lower spec ones.
good night.

Disclaimer
I was NOT trying to blow ethnic chauvinism in my post, but only to inform our brothers down south with the errornous belief that students up north are backward. To buttress my point I emphasized Jigawa which took 4th defeating Abia (and in extension NW defeating SE) the region with arguably the highest number of school enrollment. This is to tell you it's not quantity that matters, but quality!
Ndi Igbos are now on the thread shouting the kids that represented Abuja are Igbos some even go as far as claiming those from Lagos and Jigawa could also be Igbos hypocritically ignoring ABIA that came second from the last! The question is are those Igbo kids from Abuja more Igbo than those from Abia (SE states by extension)?
Another point worthy of notice is the Abuja school is a private school with millions of Naira as school fees, whereas Science Secondary School Kafin Hausa is a typical Northern secondary school.
Keep underestimating the north at your own detriment!

In a bid to get its activities to impact Nigerians more positively in keeping with its payoff line, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has pledged to retool its channels of engagement with communities to help prepare the younger generation for leadership.

Speaking at the grand finale of the 2016 edition of the NNPC Annual National Quiz Competition which held at the NNPC Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director of NNPC, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, said he was immensely proud of the National Quiz Competition project as it has lived up to the objective of generating interest in science and technology among Nigerian youth.

The Minister who was represented by the Group Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, Mr. Isa Inuwa, said the Corporation would continue to support the National Quiz Competition and other community-based efforts aimed at promoting education and youth development.

“We would thus commit ourselves to executing many more strategic community development projects, particularly those that we reckon would rapidly improve the lives of Nigerians”, he said.

In a goodwill message, the Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, who was represented by the Acting Director, Technology and Science Education, Mrs Tina Eyanru, commended the management of NNPC for initiating and supporting the science quiz competition for the past 15 years.

He said the poor economic condition in sub-Sahara African countries was a result of poor application of science, adding that there was need to change that trajectory by encouraging the development of the transition from science to technology which is what the Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) Competition sponsored by the Ministry of Education was about.

The grand finale of the NNPC Quiz which had the winners from the zonal level of the contest was won by students from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, who clinched the first prize with 135 points.

The other winners are: Akwa Ibom which clinched the second prize with 125 points; Lagos – 110 points; Jigawa – 100 points, Abia – 90 points and Yobe – 70 points.

The contestants who represented the FCT – Master Aniagoh William; Anyacho Sopuruchukwu and Nwokolo David – would enjoy N300, 000 bursary throughout their education up to the first degree level.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with d charger.... simple rectification, stepping down of voltage level, smoothing and control of current.... shikena...oga, dat charger is good
The charger may be good enough to charge your device but you shall know there is a very big difference between original and fake everything. The quality of materials used for making each is different, that is why one may cost less than 5% of the other.

If any court order surfaces, then there's fire on the mountain in Nigeria. There should be no backyard court order.

Besides the court order was to be presented to the bank before any freeze. The bank didn't have such order. We have to be watchful here.

Let's not forget saharareporters are working for some persons. Let's not be carried away with Buratai case.
Oga! What's your rank in Zenith banks management to out rightly declare that they were not shown the court order?
Do you think anybody would have the audacity to fabricate a court order and publish it as news?
the Bank has a team of lawyers and they defend their interest first, so they would never freeze the accounts without been shown the said order from a competent court of law.

Wailers! I'd rather you wail about Power and agricultural solution blueprints in this country rather than worry yourselves with non-issues like Saraki's seat. Someone who has been a governor for 8 years and is gonna be a senator for another 8! Try to see how you and your generation can have the life that he has, not defending them politicians and neglecting your life. What would you tell your kids if your posts are to be revisited in the next 20years and most of them are defending corrupt politicians and ranting about a retired generals secondary school certificate.

There's no previous posts in this thread where the other tribes were alleged to have done that, that's probably his reasons.

However, whoever sows evil shall reap evil for the evil that man do lives with them and continues to live after them.

Fake drug kills and I wonder the Lind of monstrous greed that can lead someone this far. What the tea seller needed to do was to return it to the drop point he purchased from and the drop point will get the wholesaler involved and the expired products will be retrieved by the company for replacement with fresh products and the old ones will be destroyed. That is the practice in Unilever.

Lastly, no tribe is useless as the good, the bad
and the ugly are spread all over the world!
Madam don't try to twist things. He used 'allegedly' to show its just an allegation meaning he doesn't necessarily believe, but refused to use same for other tribes because he believes it's true. If nobody is saying Hausas hawk fake drugs on the thread he is now saying it and stating it like a fact. It's only fair he uses the adverb allegedly here too.
Finally am not referring to a particular tribe when I said useless people, I meant to refer to the fraudsters as useless people. Have a nice day.
