Foreign Affairs › Explosion In Madina Saudi Arabia by EazyMoh(op): 9:25pm On Jul 04, 2016
A suspected suicide bombing has been
reported in the holy city of Madina near Masjid
an-Nabawi, Islam’s second holiest site.
Video footage showed a vehicle on fire. There
are no details of casualties, though the Saudi
Gazette has tweeted that two have died in the
explosion.
Saudi-owned al-Arabiya TV also reported a
suicide explosion near the security
headquarters of the Prophet’s Mosque in
Madina.
Earlier, there was an bomb explosion in the
eastern city of Qatif, where many minority Shia
Muslims reside.
A suspected suicide bomber also died after
detonating a device near the US embassy in the
city of Jeddah.
The social media footage from Madina showed
a vehicle on fire in a car park with two security
officers lying nearby.
Some on social media are claiming that a
vehicle containing gas cylinders exploded,
whilst others are claiming that soldiers have
been killed.
It may be the case that images and video
footage being circulated on social media of the
three separate incidents are getting mixed up.

Science/Technology › Re: God Is Great !!! See Amazing Photos Of Where Where A River Meets Another by EazyMoh(m): 5:06pm On Jul 04, 2016
Allahu Akbar! amazing sight! Wish to there one day.
BTW this is one of the miracles of the Holy Quran it described the phenomenon 1400 years ago, amongst other scientific facts which are only discovered centuries later.
The Holy Quran mentioned that there is a barrier between two seas that meet and that they do not transgress. God has said:
He has set free the two seas meeting together.
There is a barrier between them. They do not
transgress. (Quran, 55:19-20)
But when the Quran speaks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the existence of “a forbidding partition” with the barrier. God has said in the Quran:
He is the one who has set free the two kinds of
water, one sweet and palatable, and the other
salty and bitter. And He has made between
them a barrier and a forbidding partition.
(Quran, 25:53)

It's a waste of energy due to the resistance of the conductor chain once the circuit is closed by putting load, not to talk of the danger of having a giant live wire (chain) laying all around.

Lol grin grin grin

I hope the video of how it operates will surface online soon.
I have seen and read how it operates. It depends on hundreds of inputs primarily gps, cameras, NFC, traffic light and so on. Even the white lines on the road for its navigation. So consider how almost all these factors are in terrible shape in Nigeria. the gps is hardly up to date, the traffic lights aren't obeyed and so on.Mind you am a staunch advocate for technological advancement in this country ASAP.

RingimKabir:
I saved 50K from my salary every month. Does that means if it reach Nisab I will pay zakat or I have to earn as much as Nisab monthly before I can pay zakat?
bibiking7:

I must confess that Zakat always confuses me and right now, i am confused. Is it that if the Nisab level for paying zakat is 1.1 million saved. And i have only been able to save 900 thousand, then i am not oblidged to pay. Plus, what if the savings of 2 million is a joint contribution of Husband and wife.
RingimKabir:
I saved 50K from my salary every month. Does that means if it reach Nisab I will pay zakat or I have to earn as much as Nisab monthly before I can pay zakat?
Follow me:
If you are saving 50k monthly, you will NOT pay zakat until the money accumulates and reaches the Nisaab, (about N1.1m). That's in 22months time. Then you start timing from then for another 1year, the money will increase by 50kX12months that's 600k. So now to remove the zakat you look at the money you have saved that's N1.1m+600k that's N1.7m and remove 2.5% (N42,500 That's your Zakat for that year) and that's what you are going to pay if you where to start saving 50k from this month, and it's gonna be due in the next 34months.
If you need anymore explanation ask me.

Islam › Re: How To Pay Zakah On A Salary by EazyMoh(m):
Laid2001:
Walilahi-l-hamdu.
Jazakhalah Khaeran to the OP.

It is easier for a salary earner to pay his Zakat Monthly since he receives the money monthly. If he wants to pay Monthly, he will pay 2.67% as opposed to the 2.5% since our Gregorian calendar is slightly longer than the lunar calendar.
He should calculate how much is used monthly on his basic need that are not zakatable and then pay the 2.67% on the remaining amount monthly.
This is what many workers do in Malaysia. They simply pay 2.67% of their salary as Zakat!. Although, Zakat is Tax exempted in Malaysia and they get tax rebate on it.
That is absolute NOT Zakat in Islam!
There is no such thing as monthly Zakat.
Money Zakat is basically 3 conditions:
1. The money must reach Nisaab which is minimum amount Zakatable (about N1.1m). Zakat is not like Christian tithe where you pay fixed amount monthly.
2. The money must be with you for over a year if I have N1m in my account for ten years I will not pay a dime! So also if I kept N1m in my account for 11months and added 100k in the last month to make it reach Nisaab still I will not pay Zakat, at least not until next year.
Also If I keep N10m in my account for 11 months and use N9m to by a car on the 11th month still I will not pay zakat, because the money did not satisfy the two conditions above.
3. Is the people qualified to accept zakat.
