NorthernParrot:Yes am aware of school of agric relocation, but not education. Anyway the point is ATBU has the worst accommodation crisis compared to its counterparts like BUK ABU UniMaid and the likes which warrants the protest and am simply identifying with the protesters that indeed there is acute shortage of accommodation in the school that is now getting unbearable. I rest my case. |
NorthernParrot:What changed? How many hostel blocks were built since that time in Yelwa Campus? How many new programmes have been added? Even at that time only freshers and final year students are given bed spaces, even at that it was 6-7 people per two-man room! So what changed? |
Engineers should be blamed for buildings collapse! |
ayindepremier:Lol! Am a graduate of ATBU. So you can't know it more than me. Go and ask what happened to the first set of MBBS students students around 2012 when they were about to enter 200level. ATBU teaching hospital was built by former Governor Adamu Muazu and it was state owned before the federal government acquired it during Yugudas first term. Before then the medicine programme had to be canceled and most students had to either be transfered to other universities or changed their courses of study. About five different disciplines were added in School of engineering alone during my stay, but no single hostel was built which is why the accommodation problem kept aggravating. If you wrote your JAMB in 2015 you wouldn't know what am talking about. so go ask your elders. |
ATBU accommodation problem no be here, and the school management doesn't even care all they are interested in is how to start new courses. Starting medicine programme without teaching hospital. |
ganisucks:Pls stop using this artistic fonts in your post it's childish and annoying. No offense intended. |
EVILFOREST:Guy no disgrace yourself here o! Am not even sure you read the intro. |
That's sad and that's why Alcohol is Haram.
RIP. I pity his widow And little kids. |
The headline is wrong, Indimi donated $900,000 which is about N300m. If you want to create a thread at least don't be too lazy to do the conversion yourself. All the same I believe it's a misplaced priority. He could donate the money where it's most needed like IDPs or UniMaid.
|
Lol! OP you truly have a comic writing talent in you. It's quite funny. |
Don't worry our gallant troops together with CJTF are on it. IB is no longer in charge. |
dimieprincess:The difference was that in 2011 people (North inclusive) were giving GEJ the benefit of the doubt. Hence many reluctantly voted for him even in the core North GEJ got over 200k Votes against PMB'S 500k in my state Jigawa in 2011. Fast forward to 2015 Boko Haram had then grown to be the world's deadliest terrorist group, bombing even most sacred places and killing Islamic scholars like Albani et al; and all GEJ could do was to blame opposition that they were making his country ungovernable. THIS was the main reason GEJ was not voted in the north. He got less than 20k in the same state he got 200k in 2011. Am not saying PMB is the best thing after fura da nono, because even I didn't vote for him in 2007 but for NOW he has no viable rival. |
Hmnnn am not sure that's a good Idea. Re-brand the party merger with Kowacce APPS and PDM change the party's name and/or logo then PDP would have a chance. At least I know they would win some seats back in the North. But defeating PMB is not possible, no matter what. |
Vanguard The most unprofessional newspaper in Nigeria! Imagine them using Shehu Musa Yaradua instead of Umaru Musa Yaradua. What is the work of the editor? He couldn't correct simple error like this one. In almost every article of Vanguard you must find a grammatical or spelling error. It's a shame. Anyway wish all the best in his future endeavours, and thanks for the national service. |
Looking forward to Saraki emulating the scenario above. |
This is the clarification most of us are looking for. Sara Luka was a student of GSS Chibok, she went home together with the rest of the students when the schools were closed due to insecurity except for SS3 students writing WAEC who were kept at GSS Chibok. Unfortunately she was also kidnapped at her village of Madagali about the same dates when her seniors were kidnapped at her school. Lalasticlala pls let those who truly care about the plight of these poor girls get these information. As for the heartless wailers, go and die!
|
Ah ah! Awon wailers! No be you protest now wey dem say dey no go pay una. upon say na you Sabi sponsored protest pass! On a serious note though most of these our APC governors especially up North no dey try. Na only PMB dey do better tin. Carry go Baba Kill corruption and Boko Haram join! Negotiate with militants though. |
thegoodjoehunt3:Yeah you are right I hoe the rest get such lucky too. BTW I love Akwa Ibom what part did u school at? |
"beautiful " people of Ogun state I hail O! |
thegoodjoehunt3:Was her name in the school register? Why would they tale her to Chibok in the first place when she isn't from there? Anyway thank God for her life, I rest my case. |
9ja4show:Guy don't disgrace yourself! You put it the other way round. "...why English man speaks spanish" instead of why Spanish speaks English. Accept your mistake there. As regards to the Language rank here is a prove http://answersafrica.com/12-most-widely-spoken-african-languages.html https://www.nairaland.com/901689/top-10-most-spoken-languages Go knock yourself out! |
9ja4show:Yoruba is common Language, In Lagos ba? Because it's not even the most spoken language in Nigeria not to talk of WA nor Africa. So think again. *modified I didn't see the second sentence. Ask English man why he speaks spanish. Guy seriosly? |
We just need clarification. Did she claim she was among those kidnapped that day? or was she kidnapped somewhere else? If its the latter then am sorry she won't be hyped like the true victim that she is, the highest is to be taken to Borno first lady. That's what the media has succeed in doing. All other kidnapped victims are not considered human enough. Sad. |
That's less than one sided story. dailypost am disappointed. You didn't contact the police/security agency that carried out the arrest you just gave us PDP press release. Anyway I hope he's well prosecuted for all his crimes, as well as his sponsors. One thing we are sure is that lawlessness will no longer be tolerated in our New Nigeria. |
They even look alike. OK what of the other 'husband' guy? Hope he has a permanent bunk at Borno Gitmo. |
Enahi:Why him too dey blow Yoruba upandan?! |
Awwww Akwa Ibom Ayyaya!
I love AKS People with passion. The most hospitable people in Africa!

|
NCA Makoko Outpost on sight! |
Exactly what I was talking about in my other post earlier. |
mysticwarrior:That's why I said if he had participated in any attack. Mind you it will be very unlikely to give/marry any of the trophy Chibok girls to to non-active/non-committed/low ranking member of the BH. Anyway for his own sake I hope you are right that he genuinely did not belong to the BH. |
