When did the took place? |
fullstreets:Thank you and good night. |
I wonder how Jewish heaven was described in the Torah though. I believe it should be different from the Christian heaven. |
she's actually the demon. Watch how hypocritical Christians systematically exonerate her professed faith from the blame, instead claiming she wasn't a true Christian. Don't quote me, just deal with the confusion in your minds. |
Bede2u:Oga if you are looking for fight go find who offended you. What did we do to you? |
01Alpha:Trying to use force will only destabilize the country more at the end doing no one any good. The first coup should tell you that. After using violent force to murder their way into power, the same (or even) force was used to also murder them out. I am not threatening you with violence, but I am advising you dialogue and diplomacy is your best route. Begging to get what you want isn't a sign of weakness. Go and study how Isreal was created. They begged lobbied and compromised. They even agreed the status of Jerusalem as not belonging to them alone but a universal city for people of the 3 Abrahamic religions. I am not saying you shall make a promise you have no intention of keeping, but change in politics at an international scale requires compromise. Even South Sudan had to agree to share the oil with the north to gain independence. |
Bede2u:Lol! They can't match that of a Fulani man. |
01Alpha:Does the south look like they are ready to talk? All your leaders do is yab and blab on the media. No any form of action taken. |
01Alpha:The north has spoken proportionately as regards the secession. Need I remind you the Kaduna Declaration? All this gra gra will not achieve anything, if you think you can bully the north just because you own the media think again. The best way is to approach everything with diplomacy. Assure the north about benefits of restructuring, get a compromise, make trade offs and things. That's the way to go. But shouting north is parasite doesn't change the fact that more than 60% percent of the rest of the south also depend on the current arrangements for their survival, governors like Ebonyi state governor have de that abundantly clear. |
01Alpha:Oga every northerner thinks like me o except the politicians benefitting from the dysfunctional system, just like not every Igbo man wants Biafra who would want the country to disintegrate. Especially not your politicians to whom you shall appropriately put the blame on. You all are here ranting while their priority in the chamber is election reschedule, and they are all United on it that they even ready to veto the president. Bros pleeeeease |
Omololu2121:OK Noted, kindly tell your senator to move the motion for dissolving Nigeria. We the north never wanted a country with you in the first place anyway. |
Omololu2121:Look at you! Haven't the northerners being surviving before the creation of Nigeria? How much is bitter leaf and ewedu in terms of economic value compared to beef, pkomo, tomato, beans in your diet? Or you want to remind us about the phantom UGU month millions of dollars you people are exporting on a daily basis? With the way you keep blabbing about this restructuring thingy if you were serious you'd have sponsored a bill to amend the constitution. Alas you only started yapping when PDP was defeated in 2015. As far as wise people know it's only a campaign gimmick to hoodwink gullible southerners like yourself in to always attacking the north. |
This voters card was last used in 2007. It was issued by Maurice Iwu's inec during OBJ tenure. Back then when nobody even cared to que and vote down south, because all the ballot papers are thumb printed after bogus figures have been submitted. |
Omololu2121:Of course you could, but mind you import duty on Nigeria is among the highest in the world, you can't hike it any more significantly else the north would consider importing through other alternatives. But the South can never be self sufficient in food produce like beef, groundnut, beans and basically any fresh vegetables they consume. Also importing from anywhere else would result to even more than the 500% increase. Consider cost of apple sold in Nigeria due to the doctor that it's imported. Zim essence a single tomato would cost you N100 or more if you decide to import. Anyway I know at the long run the north could even be better off. |
I stead of making everything look like "then versus us" why not make the restructuring an all inclusive affair. There is bound to be benefit for every region except may be SE that doesn't produce anything tangible that the country needs to survive. Basically all your agitation is derived from the envy of oil money the rest of the country receives, and all you want is simply to deny them that. However I believe it would be to everyone's advantage if the country is restructured. While the Niger delta would want to control their oil and may be contribute a small amount, the northern states can also tax the food produced in their states. For example my state can decide to collect a 500% tax on every food produce produced and exported down south from the state. |
Chai! See confused people commenting up and down. You wonder how they pass exam. |
Mr Deputy Secretary of state why not go and study Nigerian geography first before you come back and yarn dust like you know everything. North-West indeed! |
slimthugchimee2:Bros if it takes you ten days to prepare N3500 then satellite TV is the least of your problems. |
Children of hate will automatically have a bad day for this. See some of them already above. I marvel at the eleven of their negativity. |
3 trucks in 1971 translate to billions in 1990s, that's 20 years. What's more suspicious is that this most important detail about his wealth was omitted in his endorsed official biography. Well what can I say he already has supporters from a particular Cardinal direction. |
In as much as I am not satisfied with Fayemi's handling of the ministry especially regarding his suspicious dealings in ALSCON saga, I believe the lawmakers are been overzealous in this regard. What expert advice do they rely on to insist on budgeting funds for the so called repair when the ministry has told them it isn't economically wise to spend such money when you can build a modern more efficient steel factory with a more fund compared to the repair cost. Anyway they shall as they please. |
Even in court cases precedence is very important. If you Islamophobes claim the radical terrorists who make up less than 0.001% are the ones interpreting Islam correctly against the rest of us 99.999% mainstream Muslims who declare they are wrong. The best way to decide is to go back in history and study the early years of Islam. Did the prophet and the Rashidun Caliphs did what barbarians like Boko Haram are doing? |
Lol! Nigerians have no confidence in you either. So save us some resources and headache and boycott the election |

I am as confused as I am ashamed. May be na fear way dey catch dem. |
vaxx:Of course slavery in whatever form is very bad. This is including corporate slavery you can find today. You were the one that quoted me trying to argue what I quoted what many learned historians have agreed. If you were to have come in 7th century, the best thing you could have done was to reduce slavery and make sure their fundamental human rights were guaranteed. You can't possibly do more than what Islam did! The best thing to happen to slavery to which Islam was agreed to be the second was it's final abolisment as I mentioned earlier. It is important to note as well that the main drive for the final abolisment was as a result of industrial revolution rather than "civilization" as you put it. If cheap slave labor was not made obsolete by farm machinery, slavery wouldn't have being abolished. So the only movement to improve welfare of slaves based on a humanitarian compassion was Islam and we'd all be fair to give it the credit. |
vaxx:Oga no be me talk am o, na renown historians that are professors in Islam and middle eastern studies. So in all your cherry picking you ignored dozens of verses in the Qur'an which are commanding Muslims to free slaves on many occasions both as a measure for remission of sin and for reward by God. Throughout history of slavery in Mankind known history the best time to be a slave is during the early years of Islam and belong to a pious Muslim master. This was proven by Umar Bin Khattab's conquest of Jerusalem. Umar and his personal "slave" rode to the city on a single came by taking turns to ride. By the time they reached outskirts of Jerusalem it was the turn of the slave and when they entered the people of the city mistook the slave as the caliph because he (the slave) was the one riding the camel while the Caliph was on foot. They basically wear the same type of cloth and look pretty much the same. |
Instead of this your back-and-forth argument why not just compare the rights of slaves in Islam Vs Christianity/Judaism. That way you get a common ground for comparison. Mind you historians generally regard Islam as the second best thing to happen to slaves, second only to its abolisment finally in the 19th century. Some rights of slaves in Islam they have the rights to 1. Live 2. Own property 3. Marry 4. Eat the same type of food as their master 5. wear the same type of cloth as their master 6. Right to buy their freedom 7. Right to practice their religion of choice 8. Once a woman bears a child for her master she and the baby automatically become free people. 9. A Muslim shall never be ensalved 10. Only people who have actively perticipated in waging war against Muslims are liable to be enslaved.... |
Actually that's the best idea. Afterall cough is not even one of life threatening illnesses in our society. But the authorities are making a lot of money in the business chain, if not the dealers and distributors are very easy to trace and apprehend. Just put a ransome of N100k on any dealer and N250k on suppliers and watch whistle-blowers rush. |
Releasing the money wasn't the problem, looting the money and distributing it to PDP chieftains for campaign was the problem. |
But you fail to deny the denial of the UK hospital accusing you of forging their document. Tell us that the so called letter from one Dr. Casey wasn't from your client, or the there are more than one Wellington Hospital in UK, or the circulated email wasn't from the hospital. All you succeeded in doing is throw tantrums trying to curry sympathy for someone who's still sitting on out N400m just because he had access to the IB as president. APC shall continue fighting your client in whatever way, after all its one of the main reasons they were voted in. To give looters sleepless nights! |
