Car Talk › Re: 8 Reasons Why Toyota Is Nigeria’s No.1 Car Brand by EazyMoh(m): 2:56pm On Feb 23, 2018

I don't know why we always assume Toyota are more fuel efficient.

I used an Accord Europe for 4 years until October before buying an Avensis and I kid you not, the Accord does way better than this Avensis by far, especially with fuel consumption.

I spend double on fuel month on month now versus month on month 2016/2017.

See this link biko

https://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1050915_honda-accord-versus-toyota-camry-cost-and-fuel-efficiency
Bro the fuel efficiency claim is relative. Toyota is beaten only by Peugeot and Honda in that field, otherwise it beats the other major world brands.
He's not saying it's the most fuel efficient, but definitely among the top 3.

Well said, though toyota camry used to be the popular brand but lately, Toyota Corolla 05 has taken over.
People say the corolla is very great at economizing fuel and the AC in it is super cold.

But all the same Toyota wins hands down, afterall "The world can not be wrong"
That's because they are different categories. Corolla is in the compact Sedan category while Camry is Luxury Sedan. Carry is simply the big brother of the Corolla which is meant for those ready to sacrifice luxury and size for affordability and fuel efficiency.

Shame !

See the way you have now changed the whole story to sth else after I have disgraced you with facts. I thought you wanted to go with facts na. ...Now you have changed to an entire new wave of story telling. cheesy

Just put it at the back of your mind that the SE/SS voting population can always neutralize that of the NW, no matter how it goes. And Buhari can never get up to 90% of the NW votes. No! Southern Kaduna people and other minorities in states like Kebbi will always frustrate that.

And why do you guys erroneously assume that a northerner cannot pull massive votes from the SE/SS? Did Yaradua not get massive votes from SE/SS in 2007?

The north-east support for Buhari will definitely reduce. The north-east has a very very large minority and christian population who do not vote based on religious sentiments unlike the muslim population.

Take Gombe south for instance, this zone is predominantly tangale-waja christians, but half of them voted Buhari last election for instance. In 2011, 85% of them voted for GEJ and that was why GEJ was able to get 40% of Gombe state votes in total ......
Now in 2015, GEJ got less than 25% in Gombe state in general cos his large support base in Gombe south dwindled!....... Now, all these happened irrespective of the fact that Gombe state was and is still under a PDP governor! ....What does this tell you? This tells you that a sitting governor does not influence elections as much as you think they do.
Now, come 2019, do you still expect Buhari to have any reasonable support in Gombe south? Hell no!
Many north-east christians voted for Buhari in 2015, but by next year. No reasonable one will vote for Buhari. This is why the north-east will slightly drop.

If not for religious politics, Buhari support in the north-east would have heavily dropped too like the north-central definitely will.
Where were you when we accurately predicted Buhari victory prior to 2015?
Fallacy is believing Christians won't vote for PMB and at the same time believing Muslims will reduce who would vote him either.
PDP biggest mistake was playing the religious card and the moment you keep criticizing PMB from religious angle is the moment you motivate Muslims to also view it from that angle.
Anyway 2019 isn't far, I want you to promise a thread of "EazyMoh told me so" when PMB wins.

olujastro:
Quite a lot of ignorant political analysts here. I'm not a seer and as much as I would prefer to try someone else, 2019 is Buhari's to lose if no major decamping happens before 2019.
No living northern candidate can defeat Buhari even in their own state of origin. Buhari will defeat Atiku in Adamawa, Dankwambo in Gombe and Lamido in Jigawa respectively.
Buhari will win the NW with over 80%, the NE with over 70% - Taraba will be the exception, the NC with at least 50%- will win Niger, Kwara, Kogi, and get at least 40% in Nasarawa, and 30% in Plateau and Benue. Ethnic and religious sentiments are the better reasons for Buhari to lose some northern (middle-belt) votes, not one paper weight Northern candidate. This outcome is almost sure irrespective of who challenges Buhari.
Now the only way the PDP can perform well in the election (though won't be enough to win it) is if it presents Donald Duke as its candidate. Duke's candidacy will reduce the voter apathy in the entire south because many in the south would rather watch TV than queue up for Buhari or Atiku.
Duke can win over 80% in the SS and SE. Unfortunately, the NW will neutralise that. While the SW being the most sophisticated voting region could give Duke over 60% and Buhari 40%.That way the SW can neutralise the NE a little.
If it is Buhari vs another northerner, the SW will easily go for Buhari in the midst of huge voter apathy.
Anyhow we look at it, though not my most preferred choice but Buhari wins it eventually.
Don't mind these political babies they think PMB is an ordinary northerner.
Can't they just look at the APC primary elections? Atiku is their best bet yet PMB tripled him! Not to talk of having the power of incumbency.
Politics › Re: Facts Why Buhari Will Win 2019 Election - Kelvin Nwata by EazyMoh(m): 2:32am On Feb 23, 2018

No, Oga you are wrong! Let us use the last election figures as an example. Look at the screenshot below and do the mathematics.

Buhari got 82% of the NW votes last election, while GEJ got 92% of the SE/SS votes.
Add the votes of the SE/SS and it is exactly 7,179,631....which is more than that of the NW at 7,115,199.
So, you should know that the votes of the SS/SE can always neutralize that of the NW! ......now remember, the NW is most likely to drop from the 82% they gave Buhari last election. So, Buhari is on the loosing side here.

Let us assume that the SW is 50/50 which neutralizes itself.

This therefore leaves us with the NE & NC. Now, doing the calculations again, Buhari got 72% votes of the NE last election and 71% of the NC.

Now imagine the NC which is more populated than the NE drop to 30% while the NE (which will also definitely drop), now drops to like 60%. ......Buhari is already a gonner, however the margin will not be too much.
Keep dreaming!
There will never the same turnout in SS/SE in 2019 when the contest is between two northerners and 2015 when it was virtually The north versus SS/SE.
The big question is who is even that candidate to make PMB's vote drop as significantly as you are postulating?
And no way on earth PMB's vote would decrease in the NE! Also in the NW as of then 2015 PDP controlled states like Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara and the likes I saw them buying votes as high as N2k in the NW alone which amounted to GEJ getting even up to over 10%
In my state Jigawa GEJ got over 300k votes then, all due to the state under PDP governorship and massive campaign funds at their disposal. This time around it is APC in control, and they are ready too to share that money while PDP is completely handicapped.
So definitely PMB's votes will increase in both NE and NW.
Likewise SW definitely PDP fortune will dwindle giving the fact that the party has relegated the region. It lacks appeal or any bigwigs to change its narrative strongly. Coupled with unavailability of public funds to doll out. a 50-50 is even far fetched.
I need one thing from you, promise me you will create a thread declaring EazyMoh your political mentor when PMB eventually wins in 2019, and don't try to claim anything rigging. Cheers!

Buhari cannot get up to 5% in the SE/SS, let alone 20%.

Even in 2015 when many people had high hopes for Buhari, he got less than 10% in both the SS\SE. How much now that people are drastically dissapointed in him?

Buhari cannot get up to 40% in the NC, at most 30%. .. Niger state is the only state he is sure of winning next year.
Oga leave that thing. A party controlling federal level has always had tremendous effect in the outcome of SS and SE, fact. There are already pressure groups from SE that have endorsed PMB for 2019. Couple that with how easy it is to buy votes from that side.
Even at that, 70% of NW is more than 100% of SE+SS!
Try and calculate 70% NW&NE + 30%NC + 50%SW + 5% SE&SS is still greater than the rest!
Politics › Re: Facts Why Buhari Will Win 2019 Election - Kelvin Nwata by EazyMoh(m): 9:33pm On Feb 22, 2018

Nothing but the truth. Unless the elections are heavily rigged in the NC & SW in favour of Buhari, I see no reason how Buhari will win next year. Buhari cannot be president without winning or at least getting half of the votes in the NC & SW, and this would be very difficult for him to get.

I cannot speak for the SW, but in my region the NC, only in Niger state can Buhari get any reasonable votes.
Even with this your analysis, a 70% in NW and NE, a 40% in NC and 50% in SW plus say about 20% from SS and SE, it's still a win for PMB.

First of all, you are wrong by saying Abia is one of the least populated states. Aba is the most populated city in the SE.

Do you think that the North did not rig elections for Buhari? How come there were no cancelled votes in the entire Kano state? What about the almajiris and underaged voters in the north?

The Card reader malfunctioned in many parts of the SE/SS..... Many areas of the SS quickly started manual thumbprinting but the SE areas did not. This was why their votes were lower.
I see you make many wrong points since you became active in politics section.
At the boldened, it's a blatant lie. There were hundreds of thousands of invalid votes from every northern state. On the contrary it's states from the SE/SS that always hide their results and claim about 99% voter turn out with zero invalid votes.

So far PMB is still miles ahead of other contestants.
People like me will definitely vote for him again.

In fact all his service was in SW, yet people are making reference with him as evident to INEC's admittance. We all know these irregularities are nationwide, but you always have to vilify the north because own the press.

Why do you think divorce rate is rising?

What are these perks attached to marriage that single folks are not getting and desire?
You don't answer question with a question.
But let me answer you anyway, the fact that there is a high rate of divorce doesn't mean people will stop getting married. In fact majority of divorcees even look forward to marrying again. Humans are social beings, and marriage is one of the most ideal ways to socialize.
Perks like acceptance and respect in the society as I mentioned humans are social beings. Employment opportunities economic support as well as business and political alliances.
Now you may answer my question as to why you concluded end of marriage especially as you gave it a timeline.

Then, though I'm not even too keen about the whole marriage ish.

Marriage as an institution has outlived it's usefulness long time ago. It's naturally disintegrating gradually. In the next 400-500 years or so, I can bet the last vestiges of the marriage institution will be tossed into the bins of history.
What makes you say that?
Mind you it's not that people don't get married nowadays, it's just the divorce rate that is rampant. Also there are still perks attached to being married that even gays are not content with just being living with their partners, but they want be recognized as being legally married.

People like Atiku, Lamido, Fayose, Duke and the likes are total walk over for PMB.
Personally I believe he has done below expectation, but in view of lack of better alternative, I'd rather stick with him.
