Well the answer is silly. Just because a Pilot named Steve crashed a plane doesn't mean every other pilot named Steve is gonna crash the next flight.

because we gave yahaya bello a chance, and now regretting it so much, we av ran 2 arm ourselves with the PVC 2 flush him out. ALso he is not experienced
Look at you, how many Yahaya Bellos do we have among the politicians that mess up things compared to the number of Atikus?
I am not saying we shall always vote for a younger candidate when faced a choice, but if we want a leader that can bring about the changes we want he shall be young, educated and wise enough to make those changes. Look at Al-Walid Bin Talal AlMakhtoum and King Salman of Saudi Arabia. Look at the changes they are bringing.
By the way we have the power to vote him out in 2023 when he turns out like Yahaya Bello.

My political ideology has always been to always support the best candidate among the choices to the best of my knowledge and understanding. Doing this has always cleared my conscience and given peace of mind with respect to consequences for my actions as dictated by my faith.
In 2007 I supported and voted for Yar'Adua against Buhari. This was despite people around me rooting for Buhari. Personally I was convinced while PMB had the unparalleled reputation of being honest, austere and detest thieves rogues and corrupt people, I believed Yar'Adua would make a better president simply because of his general appeal and acceptance nationwide.
Fast forward to 2011 and the choice was between GEJ and PMB. As a northerner who counts every Friday prayer as a potential last Friday to die in the hands of Boko Haram bombs, the worst GEJ administration kept blaming the opposition as being behind Boko Haram to make the country ungovernable for them. Without even trying to arrest the so called opposition made it inevitable to make sure that there was a change of government.
I supported Buhari and I am not regretting that, and given the same option GEJ versus Buhari I'd still vote Buhari again.
But now as far as 2019 is concerned, my best option is by far Sowore Omoyele.
Politics › As A Youth, What's Your Excuse For Not Supporting Sowore Omoyele For President? by EazyMoh(op):
considering...
1. He doesn't belong to the crop of politicians who have been ruling since before we were born.
2. He has always criticized every administration or corrupt politician irrespective of their region, tribe or region.
3. His Sahara TV is 1000times better than NTA despite the latter consuming more than 1000times more fund to run.
4. It's highly unlikely that he'd re appoint former PDP/APC chairmen as members of his cabinet like PMB did.
5. He is detribalised and to be honest am not even sure of what religion he follows.
As a Youth like me what possible excuse could you have not to support him? and instead decide to support a Buhari who is clearly now taken over by the corrupt cabal, or Atiku that is the textbook definition of everything wrong with our corrupt politicians?.
Mynd44 Seun, Lalasticlala Tonyebarcanista omenkalives maclatunji... what's your excuses?

My friend stop impersonating. You are a Muslim. Look at your moniker EazyMoh-ammed.

RIP to the dead. We don't even know him or his children but I'm sure he made an impact on the lives of Nigerians around him.

He should be celebrated in death he lived to a good old age.

If I had one wish it would be that the Nigerian youth would wake up from their slumber and stop dividing themselves stupidly along ethnic, religious and other lines, come together, demand and create a better country for ourselves.

One day I hope. One day.
Oga it was a typo, I meant to write "your ancestors..."
perhaps you shall go back and quote the eediot I quoted.

doctokwus:
Any Iboman,South southerner,Middle Beltan and South westerner advocating for another term for Buhari should be ostracized.
Let the main battle be between sane people in these regions and any almajiri that has refused to emancipate themselves from murders, conflicts, economic hardship, illiteracy, most divisive period in Nigeria's history, tyranny, lies, propaganda and crass, nauseating incompetence as represented by Buhari.
Interesting
I know someone like you must paint it that way. Can't you see the so called middle belt has about 70% of the AIGs. Many Northern states also don't have an AIG.
This is despite the clarification that the promotion to AIG has nothing to do with quota system or federal character.

Dpharisee:
Lets face facts, with the level of competition then between Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Dr Michael Okpara in the sixties the South West and Eastern regions would have advanced and achieved this status of UAE without the backward thinking Fulani leaders that has held every region down with quota system, federal character, educationally disadvantaged states, feeding bottle federalism, herdsmen killings, rioting over sharia, Boko Haram etc huh huh
Typical you simply have to blame the north for all your problems.
Need I remind you it was same southerner that abolished the regional government. A government system proposed and strongly defended by the north. Now southerners get into the leadership position by killing all our leaders safe their own, and then come and blame the north as things went south.
Una Weldone!

What they are doing is not politics, ask yourself why is it that the likes of Jerry Gana left PDP of recent?

Buhari will surprise you guys, although we all know that Buhari has his own lapses but he can correct his mistakes come 2019.
Bro I know PMB is still the best, and nothing seems to stop him from winning reelection, but he seems to have lost control of the cabal. They are now committing wanton corruption at with the previous administration.
Also PMB still doesn't seem to have a solution to any of the nation's problems. Not to talk of implementing them.

btee13:
In politics it is almost all about number, kwankwanso could be a spoiler in the whole show stealing some votes in the north from Pmb. While pdp take the entire ss and se, share vote in sw. Getting 25% of each state vote and 2/3rd of total state is the ultimate. Middle belt would have a major role to play in 2019 if kwankwanso defect to SDP scenario). It is still going to be APC and PDP show but full of many suprises anyway
Exactly but for those who are looking for a northern candidate popular enough to get significant votes in the North Kwankwaso is their candidate. So the best thing is to ditch their PDP candidate (probably Atiku) and vote for Kwankwaso. Otherwise PMB will cost home to victory.

Of a we are practicing even less than one party o! The earlier you accept that the better for you.
50% of APC are from PDP and 25% of PDP are from APC. Almost 90% of lawmakers have been members of both parties at different times so what are you saying.

Not true! What you people are more interested in are the names APC & PDP will present but even in 2015 better, more qualified candidates were available to be voted for in smaller parties but they were ignored. We will continue to ignore them until Nigeria is destroyed. We should continue returning people that has no business being there or have been there before but no impact
Of a that's the flaw in democracy, it's always a choice between a bad and a very bad choice.

hedonistic:
You have a point though. I can't understand why less than a year to elections things are still generally lethargic, in spite of the widespread disaffection against Buhari and his woeful performance. I must say that the PDP has been too docile for my liking.

By this time in the build up to 2015 elections, Lai Mohammed and other APC attack dogs had been making life very uncomfortable for Jonathan. Billions of Naira had been exchanging hands, the traditional media and social media were already agog with propaganda, mudslinging and campaign rhetoric.

I honestly don't know what's going now. It's so annoying.
It's simply because they know they stand no chance of defeating him.
