CSTR1003: Well, it is not without precedence.
Buhari's northern people also said Jonathan was using bokoharam to reduce their votes. No governor ever said Jonathan was using BH to reduce northern votes. There should be a difference between what an official like a state governor says and what a common tout says. |

MrHowto: The Dangi 1 is 3 in 1.
Flyover Round about Underpass This one too is two in one underpass and roundabout. The only difference is the small single Lane short flyover. Also the underpass at Bukabo is way longer. Bros I have seen the two designs and have been to the two sites, plus I am an engineer. So I tell you that Dangi site is highly inflated at about 3.5 times the cost of this particular project. At worst let it cost double, but not 340% increment! |

great But how come this costs 1.2bn and that of Dangi costs 4bn. That was what I was saying, the Dangi one is grossly inflated. |

Aptly put. I keep wondering why couldn't US and it's minions employ other tactics to get rid of Assad of they desperately want to. I mean get beautiful women to give him the infamous poisoned apple or something. But trying to overthrow him by supporting the barbaric terrorists who hold nothing and no one with any regard is absurd, wicked, wrong and unexcusable! Thank God for Russias interest in Syria, otherwise those Barbaric terrorists would have now run over the region with US's support.. |

Emycord: LEADERS Come And Leaders Go But The Structure Remains. We Have The National Assembly repping Us But Wont Act Cos Of Selfish Int. Nigeria As A Whole Needs A Revolution Until Its People Say Enough Is Enough And ApplY Civil disobedience Nothing Will Change. Until We Get To A Point Where We As Youths Can Collectively Say No Change No Elections. In A Democracy Power And soverienty Belongs To The Governed. But Even At That We Can't Just Like I And You Know What We Should Do But Our elite Only Know Thier pockets. Until We Start afresh We Keep Moving Around Lost In circles Bros how old are you please? OK Your solution if I understand is civil disobedience. Do you know how many times Sowore has protested the misgovernance in this country? He and his colleagues have shut down town hall meetings with ministers and ambassadors many times. What result has that achieved? You admitted the NA are only serving their selfish interest which is a better way than simply voting them out? If you like protest and constitute civil disobedience from 2015 to 2019 nobody gives a damn (in GEJ's voice) you'd just be declared a terrorist and locked up or worst. BUT! If we can overwhelmingly vote for a new president they'd have no choice but to handover like PDP did in 2015 |

Emycord: QOUTE Me Anywhere Nigeria Does Not Have A Leadership Problem So To Speak. It Has A Systemic Problem. The Skills Of A Well Trained Driver Will Be Affected By A MalFunctioning Car. Even If You Bring Presidents From Advanced Democracies To Govern Us Here Same Thing Will Happen They Will Fail. Cos Our System Is Bad. The First Thing They Will Do If They Get Here Is To Change The System. I'm Trying To Avoid The Restructuring Topic To Avoid sounding Sectional. You are making a fool of yourself dude. So how do we change the system without changing those that bastardize and got the system where it is today? Don't you know in a democracy the only real and viable power the people have is in electing who they think can make the changes and/or voting out those who couldn't? So tell us please HOW can we change the structure? I'd always choose a good driver with a faulty car than a bad driver with a "good car" even your analogy is wrong because what we have in Nigeria is a faulty car with terrible drivers! At least let's get a sensible driver, even if he can't fix the car directly he'd at least find mechanic who could. |

Politics › Re: Funtua Katsina Dry Port May Commence Operations In May by EazyMoh(m): 2:09pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
igbodefender: That is how it usually works. The goods are not touched. Since they are labelled as destined to the dry port, they are simply unloaded from the ship in the sea or river port and sent on their way to the dry port. It is only at the dry port that you can clear it, and that's why Customs is stationed there. But my question is where/when/how do I indicate the port I want the goods taken? For example if I buy a car from auctionexport in Canada, they only have Lagos port as a Nigerian destination option. Where/when does the connection to the dry port come? |
Politics › Re: Funtua Katsina Dry Port May Commence Operations In May by EazyMoh(m): 1:54pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
igbodefender: Yes, consider it payment of shipping from the distance between the Atlantic Ocean and the inland port. But the advantage is convenience. It becomes a bit like buying something from Jumia and having them deliver at your doorstep.
So you just 'travel' to your doorstep rather than travel to the market with all the gridlock. Hnmm thanks for the explanation, but I feel it might not worth it, why not just clear your goods at Lagos and transport them yourself. I fear your goods fit loss between here and there o. e no dey Lagos e no dey KD. Anyway what I'd prefer is to have an option of shipping directly to the dry port, my goods clearly labelled as destined for KD and the only interaction I'd have is with the shipping company clearing agent here in KD. |

The question I keep asking people is "what's their excuse for not Supporting Sowore?" If you are against the old cargos who have enjoyed their time, enjoyed ours and still trying to enjoy our children's Sowore is the guy to support. If you are against the modern politicians that are always in power (if PDP wins half of APC will move in and vice versa) Sowore represent everything opposite of those. If you are against politicians who use religion and ethnicity to further divide for their selfish interest He's your guy. Whatever the case we know he'd never appoint former chairmen of APC/PDP as his cabinet members. |
Politics › Re: Funtua Katsina Dry Port May Commence Operations In May by EazyMoh(m): 12:16pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
igbodefender: Dryports are depots for containers that have Customs and other relevant agencies there.
So, instead of coming down to Lagos to clear your goods, you can go to the nearer dry port. The goods could brought in through lorries, train, etc. Do I still have to pay for the transport from Lagos to the dry ports? |
