You believe demolishing numerous houses belonging to criminals will permanently end crime in the area.I disagree. Those houses do not necessarily have to be demolished. They could be rebuilt and reconstructed to probably accommodate a police station. There are ways of maximising resources. Its only here in the third world that we indulge in such profligacies |

The signs were already there but they chose to ignore them thinking those men would change. Moreso, they were cheating with women, not men. So, heap some of these blames on women who despite knowing some men are married, still go ahead to have an affair with them. In addition, like people above me said, it's wiser to spend more time building your marriage than boasting on social media about it. Many people don't have what you have and would stop at nothing to destroy what you keep bragging about |

This is bad in all ramifications. You don't hold an entire tribe accountable for the action of an individual. If a Yoruba man kills someone, it's not an avenue to start killing any Yoruba man you see on sight. If an Hausa man kills an Ibo man, it's not an excuse to kill any Hausa man you see. It's sad that after 57 years of independence, tribalism is still as higher or even higher than ever. It has not gotten us anywhere, I wonder why we extol and practise it so much. FYI, I'm Yoruba but I don't support this |

iamhorny: yes we know the roads in aba are not in good shape and its not all any way. but that does not remove the fact that aba is a developed city by Nigerian standard. The roads dont develop the city, it is the level of real estate development which translate to economic development. Good roads enhance development..
that is why you see that forest in igbo land are fast turning to subhubs which in time government will remember them and develop their roads.
igbos don't wait for government.... we enter forest, conquer it then government come in... there are many towns and villages in the southwest with very good and motorable road but are economically and socially dead, backwards and dormant You're not only h**ny, you're a moving carcass. I can't believe some people are making such a fuss about this same thing I'm looking at. Have you seen aerial view of to the cities? Moreover, I don't need to see this picture to realise Aba is a great commercial city, despite its huge infrastructural deficit but you erred greatly by making reference to Southwest. It's appalling and outrightly disheartening that some people have a smart phone smarter than they are. How on earth will someone expect commodities goods to reduce in price overnight?! Don't you know what's a called a market chain? Do you expect someone who bought a commodity at a converted price of 50,000 and is selling at 60,000 or 70,000, just up and start selling at 50,000 or 40,000 just because the news says the dollar is crashing! michelz: you're funny. What you see Osibanjo do is a credit to his principal, Buhari. All his actions are directed by Buhari. So don't make it look like Osibanjo is doing something else different from what Buhari would do. Moreover,it's the turn of northerners to rule, and they must complete their tenure. This is a very shallow comment. Bereft of introspection and depth. So, why didn't the president do what Osibanjo has been doing before he travelled? Agreed, most actions of Osinbajo would be with the president's consent but he obviously hasn't been controlling totally |

Realhommie: This is one wrong notion and huge misconception majority of people have about the white garment churches, this i know first hand coz i grew up in one, "The Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim & Seraphim" church, ESOCS for short.. And there are hundreds of these churches but people just classify them all to be one or two major churches, Celestial Church of Christ and Cherubim & Seraphim..
That said, there are evil, devilish & diabolical people who claim to be Christians in every denomination and i can categorically say here that there are more diabolical Catholics and Anglicans than you have in white garment churches.. I quite agree with you. I still had this argument with a coworker who maintained that all white garment church members are evil. No one has facts to back that up. And their are evil people in all denominations ad you rightly said |

Do South Africans complain everytime of Kenyans, do they complain of Americans, do they complain of Egyptians, Indians? No. That simply means, irrespective of sentiments, our people are causing damage in another man's country. If we can damage our own country to this level, now imagine what we'll do to another country. Nigeria has lost every vestige of respectability. See the number of Internet scammers in the country, defrauding foreigners of their hard earned income. Before we start blaming SAns for xenophobia, let's tell ourselves the hard truth.
