I have a SONY 32'' TV with a screen problem. But the issue I'm having now is distance taking it to BURMA road at apapa where their service center is. Please is there anyone who knows where I can get it fixed? Or anyone with a contact of who can fix it. |
Meanwhile I like to read stories from days where there was no Mobile phones. No be this indomie periods |
All the stories wey I dey hear for here get as e be o!! That means everybody for Nairaland na guru abi? All of una be ''A'' student shey? Una never talk true at all at all! Well make I still dey read, maybe olodo or blockhead person go talk. |
This happened to one of my friends. He had this girl in our class who likes to disturb him when it comes to solving engineering questions. To the extent she visits us in the hostel just to solve a question. After exam results came out. My guy got a C whereas the girl got an A. He was dumbfounded! We later got to know this girl dey yansh the lecturer all those times wey she dey form to study. girls eh? |
During a faculty course for all Engineering students at Annex building, UNN. The lecturer Prof in civil engineering before the lecture made an announcement; PROF: here is my handout for the course, and it is compulsory for all students. STUDENTS: How much? PROF: N300 STUDENTS (all shouting): Its too much! its too much!!! After the noise has subsided he replied them saying. PROF: well, that is the disadvantage of being poor. |
This happened in UNN way back like in the year 2009. Conversation between Civil Engineering dept HOD and a Professor in the sme department. HOD: Prof this your course shows 80% failure in our final year student's result. PROF: Yes, so what is the problem. HOD: This means extra year for these students. Can't you do something? PROF: What did I do? What have I done? eh? I only gave a student just one ''F'' not two ''F's'', so they should be grateful. Atleast they have a chance to re-sit the paper next year. Mehn! that school show person pepper. I pitied those of my friends for that department. |

With recent happenings in the political terrains of our beloved country, Nigeria, here is another one from the Chief Bode George, a prominent South West leader of the Peoples Democratic Party. In a new interview with Punch, Bode George talked about various things including the recent proclamations of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, election postponement and all the dramas accompanying it, military surrounded Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s house and other national issues. Bode George also talked about politics in Lagos and what he thinks about it…. Read the engaging, explosive and mind blowing excerpts from the interview below: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says President Goodluck Jonathan plans to perpetuate himself in government like the former President of Cote d’Ivoire, Laurent Gbagbo. What do you think of this comment? He (Obasanjo) says he is a Christian and as a Christian, it is emphasised in the New Testament of the Bible where Christ said judge not so that you will not be judged. But his judgment is no longer about the policies of Jonathan. He has gone down to the extent of saying Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) will jail you (Jonathan), that is why you are afraid. I am holding my breath because in an African setting, you talk to elders with respect and that is why I am trying to get the right words to describe my feelings. Baba (Obasanjo) is not a young man. He was Head of State at 39. So averagely, he should be about 84 or 85 and I am requesting that he should graciously fade away into the midnight. In the Bible, Romans chapter 13 states clearly that we should pray for those in authority. It says pray for your leaders so that they don’t run aground. So, to me that is my own interpretation. If baba (Obasanjo) had attended the Council of State meeting in Abuja, where they were very well briefed, and that it was decided that only the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, that could pronounce a postponement and that he should go and come up with a decision and Jega addressed a press conference. Now to start comparing our President with Gbagbo in Cote d’Ivoire is unjust, unsavoury and unfair because what is the population of Ivory Coast? What are the tribal sentiments of Ivory Coast? Are they the same here? I want to plead with Baba. God has been kind to him and he has served his own time. I don’t want to conclude that his life will be like King Saul in the Bible. I pray it will not be so. Baba has played his role. No generation can finish any job. Nation building is a continuous exercise. You come, do your own and go back into history. missclassy:Then you must have sat somewhere so isolated, probably in the night where there are shadows everywhere. Or perhaps it was during the Val period where everyone is so lost in the ''love drama''. All i'm saying is, its odd or weird seeing two people kiss in public. Hell no! not in the lagos I know, unless of course it happened in the scenario I imagined. Well alleluia! you are my sister! Though your name doesn't give a clue that you are one. Unlike my own name. |

[quote author=realdee44 post=30725305]Am posting this because of a post I saw that Nigerian ladies have nothing to offer her man beside sex. That is a very wrong statement we ladies are lovely, caring & very tender. We love easily & sincerely. Men its time you learn that a lady should be appreciated no matter how little what she may have done for u. If a lady should cook for u & help u in keeping your home clean plz appreciate her, if a lady washes your clothes & put water in the bathroom for u to take ur bath its something plz appreciate her & if she buys u a gift no matter how little it is plz appreciate her. If you have something to do but you don't have the chance to do it u can call her and say plz babe help me to do so & so & she will be glad to help. Now, I don't no who gave you Nigerian men the stupid idea that when a lady dose all that for you its because she is desperate this is one very stupid idea that u men must erase from ur head & mind. Not all ladies who do all that are desperate so many of us do it because we sinerely love & care for our men. You men should learn to appreciate us ladies. For those men who see ladies as being desperate & that there are lots of ladies all over, just wait until u are 45 & still single as I type this now I have 6 different men of 38 & 42 seriously begging for marriage am not dating any of them thou but what keep bodering me is what were these men doing all this while.Men! Men!! Men!!! Ehammmm[maybe /quote] maybe you can start by stop generalizing |

Recall that Tinubu had accused President Jonathan of sending soldiers to survey his house along Bouillon Road in Ikoyi, an accusation which Tinubu says has been on for days before he spoke out. However there is a new dimension to the story According to Linda Ikeji, two new banners have be hung on the main gates of the APC chieftain and former governor of Lagos state. The inscription on the banners is hilarious it shows how creative our politicians can be when it comes to using words to tackle the opposing party. Although the banners were said to be put there by Tinubu’s supporters, an anonymous onlooker has this to say about it: “This is the message we found on the fence of the APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu’s house this morning. The two banners hung in the fence of the main house and the next building to his house. The message was loud and clear to the military who have been patrolling Tinubu’s house and the stretch of Bouillon Road since last Sunday. The message on the banners meant for the military- “This is not Sambisa Forest. Wrong Posting.Sambisa Forest is the forest under the control of Boko Haram for years and is yet to be penetrated by the Nigerian military. It is suspected that APC stalwarts and Tinubu supporters must have put up the message over night. Last night about a lorry load of soldiers drove back and forth on Bourdillon Road and round the Falomo Roundabout for about an hour before finally driving off See one of the banners below as it was hung on the fence: READ MORE: http://www.naij.com/384880-tinubu-sends-message-to-soldiers-parading-his-house.html
