mostelected: My personal opinion doesn't matter so i won't say whether i do or not. The fact remains that there are several religions out there that also believe in God but do not believe they need to go through Jesus. Basically, you are saying they are wasting their time right? For example, Muslims pray 5 times a day every day all their life. Are you saying someone that prays to God all day every day will go to Hell? Forget about being righteous. We are looking at hypothetical situations here. Let's say this person is a saint and harms nobody and does no wrong. Prays 5 times a day for life until death but does not believe in Jesus. You mean to tell me this person will go to Hell? This is my question. Will the person in this scenario go to Hell. Yes or no? |

yomaigoki: So if i believe in God and worship him everyday but don't go through Jesus, i will end up in Hell but a MURDERER that killed 200 people can repent today, accept Jesus and make heaven? You people better stop interpreting what you don't know. Live and let live. Believe in God, worship him and you will make heaven regardless of what anyone here interpretes. 1 Like |

mostelected: All this epistle and you didn't answer the question. The question is if someone believes in God but not Jesus and worships GOD day in day out and doesn't commit sin, will he go to hell simply because he didn't go through Jesus. If you are not going to answer, don't bother writing any literature novel. I didn't ask you to judge whether one can live a righteous life. The question is IF ONE LIVES A RIGHTEOUS life!! 1 Like |

asuustrike2009: Your personal opinion my guy. Stop interpreting things your way and expect everyone to take it as correct. GOD is merciful. Why will he put someone in Hell after that person believed in him, worshiped him and lived a just life. |

asuustrike2009: So if the poster believes in GOD, prays to him everyday, does good to his fellow man, lives a righteous life without sin, he will go to HELL for not GOING through JESUS? You are telling me that GOD, that we all know is merciful, will PUNISH someone for believing in him? |

APCmyheart: Actually, you are the one wailing. I gave you solid points. What exactly do you mean by "okay what should buhari do?" If he does no know what to do, he should RESIGN. Since he hasn't resigned, he is indicating that he knows what to do and we are yet to see anything tangible. I am not the president so why do you expect me to do his job for him? Regardless, there are solutions that have been proferred but the "grumpy old man" is too stubborn to listen. All he wants to do is wait for crude oil to rise. A simple solution would have been an actual devaluation of the naira. The ridiculous interbank rate that is being floated is pure rubbish. Devalue the damn thing and mop up the sector. The gap between Interbank rate and parallel market should be maximum 20 naira. Anyway, no need wasting my time on this matter. If you think Buhari is not a dullard, then you were obviously born in the 90's or 2000's. Indomie generation. Buhari did the exact same thing in the 80's so i don't know why you are giving him excuses. Once a failure, always a failure. |

If you decide to run for office and you have gazillion followers, that's free MARKETING for you right there. If you own a business and you have gazillion followers, EASY MARKETING to promote your products. Do not underestimate the power of social media nowadays. As a matter of fact, do you know people actually use their profiles to make money? For example, say you have 1 million nigerian followers on twitter. You can approach a new start up or a company and say "i will give you a shoutout on my profile so you can get several retweets and create awareness. Just pay me so so and so............... 1 Like |

HtwoOw: Please can you tell me exactly why you think we need a national airline? Is it for bragging purposes? Why do we need a national airline when private airlines are still running loses and not making any profit? The airline business is brutal and even the most prudent of airlines are running loses all over the world. What we need is a cleanup of the sector to ensure profitability and SAFETY. This national airline thing is unnecessary. |

asuustrike2009: They are buying votes. All the people collecting the 5k will probably vote for them. Same thing the democrats have been doing. Use cheap handouts to keep poor people voting for them. This is a waste of money in my opinion. 5 billion every month that can be invested in other things to help the economy. Instead, they give it to people who will do absolutely nothing with it but eat suya and drink beer. 5k that can't even buy rice. Utter waste. 5 Likes 1 Share |

APCmyheart: If you are one of his advisers, then we are doomed. He doesn't have to print nada. What he needs to do is LEAD. Be decisive and create/make policies that will encourage investors. Foreign investors are running away. How will the naira ever become solid if foreign investors keep running? It is okay to fight corruption but when you make corruption your sole priority, you will FAIL. The only way to really fight corruption is reduce poverty by stimulating the economy. If the economy is solid, corruption will reduce. You cannot wipe out corruption in Nigeria in 8 years so he his wasting his time. When he leaves, people will simply return to their old ways. On the other hand, if he focuses on the economy and improves the standard of living, corruption will gradually reduce. Even the US with it's number one economy has corruption so wetin be Buhari own. Create policies that we increase confidence in the naira. No Foreigner in their right mind wants to come and invest dollars in nigeria when they know that Buhari may wake up today and tell the banks to block all forex deposits, or reduce withdrawals, or the nonsense back and forth he's been doing. |

Gwazah: At bolded.. So the chinco products you buy last longer than one week abi? Abeg park well. To put a blanket phrase and simply say we do not produce anything is ignorant and dishonest. Agreed, our trade deficits to most of these countries is large but enough of all these misyarns. If we really depended only on crude oil, Nigeria would have VAPORIZED a long time ago. Sure, the bulk of our income comes from crude but Agriculture, Telecoms, Textiles, and other industries still exist. Yes they are struggling but you people should stop making ignorant comments. All the local soaps that they sell in the markets are made from where? Same way you guys will start saying ignorant things like we don't make toothpicks and matches when we INFACT have people making these.... Again, i am not saying Nigerian manufacturing is booming but lets stop the ignorant statements we've been making since the 80's |

dermmy: The DNC is a private organization. Park well. Maybe the US government should have prevented the SONY hack? or the Yahoo hack? or the Amazon hack? They can't be everywhere. The only time there will be concern is if a foreign government hacks the Pentagon or the white house. Then you can talk. Of course, if the pentagon gets hacked, they won't let us know just so we don't find out they are vulnerable. Thats the nature of cyber things. The only system that is not hackable is the one that hasn't been created or the one that has no access to the internet. If you have access to the internet, you are prone to hacks regardless of the kind of security you think you have. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Business / Re: Naira Faces Further Decline On Continued Dollar Scarcity by EbolaParasite: 8:33pm On Jan 01, 2017 |
APCmyheart: Why don't you let Buhari defend himself? Why are you defending him? The major reason we are in "panic" mode with regards the dollar is due to "INDECISIVENESS" from the President. Even people that don't need dollars are looking for ways to get dollars just because they "hope/expect" it to go up. Sure, this was a problem inherited from the past govt. The important thing to note is that THIS government "escalated" due to in-actions and not knowing what to do. You realize that investors pulled TRILLIONS out of the nigerian economy when they weren't sure of Buharis plans. When he was busy taking 6 months to inaugurate his cabinet, people were pulling out of nigeria. Companies were pulling out. A lot of these investors and companies used to generate forex and their flight added to the already big problem of dollar scarcity. There is no need pushing blame around. Buhari has done this for almost 2 years now. He is in charge of Nigeria and by that he is responsible for ALL OUR PROBLEMS. 1 Like |

awelekiti: Please don't try and deviate. You lied plain and simple. Now let me school you. Even if you haven't received your greencard after landing, you can get your passport stamped for emergency travel. As a permanent resident, you can travel anytime you want. The only stipulation is that you do not stay outside for unnecessarily long periods. This is common sense. Otherwise, people would come in get their green cards and return to their home countries. If you do not want to be a US permanent resident, why did you "play" the lottery. You cannot say you are a US permanent resident and then decide to travel out for more than 1year. The exception is if it is job related, otherwise, you are termed as having abandoned your permanent residence. Please google the term permanent residence if you don't understand. IF you don't want to be a permanent resident, you can surrender it and start obtaining VISAS for crying out loud. At bolded, Are you intentionally being silly? You want to compare travel rights due American citizens with permanent residents? If you are a permanent resident of a country, why would you need to travel out for several years to establish a business in another country? Obviously that other country is your real permanent residence. Anyway, it's a waste time dragging this. My previous point stands, you or your friend LIED. Nothing prevented him from travelling home to naija as a permanent resident to be at the funeral. |

The only stipulation is that you do not stay out of the US for a lengthy period whenever you travel. Usually 6 months or so. The Green Card is called a Permanent Resident Card. If you travel out of the US and stay longer than 6 months, then obviously, you don't intend to Permanently Stay in the US. Stop feeding people lies. There is nothing that prevented the guy from travelling with regards to the green card. Just Saying.... |
