Crocky23:Fox news website is foxnews.com and not the fake one up there. |
Since when dem begin use "first class" for yankee. Either change the title to "Summa Cum Laude" or delete it. |
dingbang:So according to your logic, where does that put the children born from baby mama/daddy syndrome? Surely they must be evil/satanic and heading straight to hell? |
5oyad:I don't claim to know the nature of man more than God but i do know this - He created us to be attracted to females. Your self control is what prevents you from acting on your physical attraction. |
ImaIma1:No need deceiving ourselves. Pastors, Imams, Religious leaders all cheat in this naija. Of course it is impossible for EVERYONE to cheat. The staggering number of men that do makes it a good assertion. The Nigerian men that don't cheat fall into two categories : Those that are too shy and don't have the balls (They would cheat but are simply too shy and hide under the pretext of being religious or born again) and , Those that haven't found the right girl that will make them do. |
5oyad:I will ignore your post because you failed to understand the context and just jumped into the discuss. Anybody seeing your post would think i am an advocate for polygamy. Please read well before jumping into a discussion. |
NubiLove:This is the point i am trying to make. If you women only understood men. "She is okay with him having girlfriends if he doesn't mention it to her" She is in denial. Girlfriends break homes way more than outright second wives. Wait till the husband stops paying school fees and neglects his responsibilities because of the numerous dubai trips and expensive trips with his "side chicks". I am not saying it is better to have a second wife. I am just saying those women that think they are better off without a second wife in the mix are in denial. |
NubiLove:A lot of Nigerian women like deceiving themselves. It is a Nigerian thing and not necessarily a muslim thing. The only difference is that Nigerian muslims make it official. The woman that became a christian because she doesnt want to be a second wife is deceiving herself. The men that don't carry second wives have BILLIONS of GIRLFRIENDS. Unless you marry JESUS, you are on a long thing. |
justwise:Guy, i responded to the chics video. She was upset about not getting her passport and i gave my opinion. All i said was that the current situation is that 32 page is scarce. The lady even mentioned it in the video that someone got the 64 page. I was trying to erase the notion that the commission is forcing her to get the 64 page and that is why i said she should direct the video to the FG and NIS and not the commission. She stated that a relative was "advised to get a 64 page passport to BEAT" the system. This is FALSE and that is what i am trying to correct. 64 page passports are available unlike the scarce 32 page passports. Has nothing to do with the high commission. Same thing occurred at the Nigerian Embassy in Atlanta so the passport scarcity is not unique to the UK. Everyone knows Nigerian embassies all over the world get k leg. My response was at the person who attacked me for saying what the current problem is. It is not news that a lot of razzmatazz goes on at that high commission. I am well aware. Just saying the girl is barking up the wrong tree. If there are delays in getting 32 page passports in Naija, why expect embassies to be exempt? That was my point. |
abbey621:Therein lies your problem. You can't use abuses to deceive people. You make it sound like he filed chapter 11 to prevent folding up like he had a choice. The company was in HUGE debt. Chapter 11 was a way of reducing personal liabilities so stop saying it like it was a good thing. What happened to the company after? For those who care, here is the timeline of your so called genius bankruptcies. A record of bad decisions. Bankruptcy No. 1: The Trump Taj Mahal, 1991 Trump’s first bankruptcy may have hit the businessman, personally, the hardest, according to news reports. He funded the construction of the $1 billion Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, N.J., which opened in 1990, primarily with junk bonds at a whopping 14 percent interest. A year later, the casino was nearly $3 billion in debt, while Trump had racked up nearly $900 million in personal liabilities. So Trump decided to file for Chapter 11 reorganization, according to the New York Times. As a result, Trump gave up half his personal stake in the casino and sold his yacht and airline, according to the Washington Post. Bankruptcy No. 2: Trump Castle, 1992 Within a year of his first Chapter 11 filing, Trump found himself in bankruptcy court again for Trump Castle, which opened in 1985. It was his "weakest gambling hall," according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, and ironically faced competition from Trump Taj Mahal. In March 1992, the Castle filed a prepackaged bankruptcy plan, and Trump gave up his 50 percent share in the casino for lower interest rates on $338 million worth of bonds. Bankruptcy No. 3: Trump Plaza and Casino, 1992 The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, which opened in 1984, declared bankruptcy at the same time as the Castle. A $210 million joint project of Trump’s and Harrah’s, the casino had racked up $250 million in debt by 1992, after a staggering 80 percent decline in cash flow. So Trump Plaza filed for prepackaged bankruptcy that spring as well. Bankruptcy No. 4: Plaza Hotel, 1992 Later that year, Trump filed bankruptcy on another Plaza, this one in New York. Trump purchased the Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan for $390 million in 1988, but it accumulated more than $550 million in debt by 1992. In December 1992, Trump relinquished a 49 percent stake in the Plaza to a total of six lenders, according to ABC News. Trump remained the hotel’s CEO, but it was merely a gesture; he didn’t earn a salary and had no say in the hotel’s day-to-day operations, according to the New York Times. Bankruptcy No. 5: Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts, 2004 Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts filed for bankruptcy again in 2004 when his casinos -- including the Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Marina and Trump Plaza casinos in Atlantic City, and a riverboat casino in Indiana -- had accrued an estimated $1.8 billion in debt, according to the Associated Press. Trump agreed to reduce his share in the company from 47 percent to 27 percent in a restructuring plan, but he was still the company’s largest single shareholder and remained in charge of its operations. Trump told the Associated Press at the time that the company represented less than 1 percent of his net worth. Bankruptcy No. 6: Trump Entertainment Resorts, 2009 Trump Entertainment Resorts -- formerly Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts -- was hit hard by the 2008 economic recession and missed a $53.1 million bond interest payment in December 2008, according to ABC News. It declared Chapter 11 in February 2009. After debating with the company’s board of directors, Trump resigned as the company’s chairman and had his corporate stake in the company reduced to 10 percent. The company continued to use Trump’s name in licensing Source: Politifact.com |
abbey621:You are too arrogant so i will stop going back and forth. All of a sudden you know if i have worked for a fortune 500 company before? Arrogant much. News flash. I work for a company that is actually in the top 5 of the fortune 500. Figure it out yourself. You think you can get on online forum and continue bragging about your success? Leave out your personal details and stick to the topic. You are trying to get self gratification online that you can't get in the real world. Common sense tells you that a company that keeps running into hard times and subsequently keeps filing chapter 11 is nothing to brag about. The fact that he used the law of the land now makes him a genius? The same people that used the law of the land created the 2008 financial crisis. Would you say the same of them? My guy, go siddon. Everything you stated has been mentioned by Trump so i take it you are one of those that just repeat whatever he says. Next thing you will say i watch "Fake News CNN" It is really sad that people like you have to wait for Trump to coin a name for things or say stuff before you make up your own mind |
abbey621:No need to sugar coat it. If a business files bankruptcy, it means it is cash flow negative. It is not running a profit. Shikena. Let's stop making someone look smart because he used bankruptcy laws to his advantage. When a business files bankruptcy, a lot of people lose money, contractors don't get paid etc. Someone did this 4 times and people make it seem like it is okay. |
abbey621:It is up to you to determine whether i live in the US or not. I don't have to prove anything to you. What i hate is when someone generalizes based on hearsay. Did any of your aunties, neighbours and colleagues get pregnant when they had no insurance and then get a new job? Stop unnecessary generalizations. They probably had insurance. By the way, i am not talking about people that were under medicaid in the past. Why are you arguing unnecessarily. I bet the aunties you referred to are married or were married. If married, it doesn't apply because your husbands policy will carry you. I specifically said, single WOMEN and you are rambling. If you were single, lost your job or had no job, were not covered by medicaid, got pregnant, got a new job this applied to you in the past. What happened was that the insurance companies would "chose" if they wanted to pay or not. With Obamacare they have no choice. YOU ARE COVERED. Your use of average surgery costs in this context is wrong. By the way, you do know, you still have to add hospital stays and physician costs to the actual surgery bill. The odds you will get into the hospital for a low cost surgery if/when you do have one are low. As an example, an out of status Nigerian student had to remove his appendix. His bill ended up being 48,000 and change because he spent more time in the hospital recovering. Of course he didn't pay and had to enter an agreement and they reduced it to less than 9,000 with a payment plan. Another guy ended up being tboned at an intersection. Spent a one week on life support and another 8weeks. Bill ran up to 1.2 mill. My point is that for you to think that you will end up in the 20,000 range is rather myopic. This is why it is called insurance. Even though you don't need it now, chances are when you do need it, it will end up saving your life due to the unexpected HIGH costs. There you go bragging again. Yeah you have a high credit score. Okay, say you get in a bad accident and your bill runs in the millions. You pull out your credit cards to pay the debt. What happens when your require further treatment and you've maxed your credit cards? You apply for another credit card or loan? OOps, you now have no job so how easy will it be to get approved? I repeat, stop bragging. Thank God you are not in this situation. There are people that were 5 times richer and on a better footing than you that went bankrupt because of a simple medical situation. This is not my opinion. It happened to several people in the past. For you to think the "change or access to credit" that you have can secure your medical freedom is a fallacy. |
abbey621:Please lets deal with facts and not hearsay. Your average surgery costs 20k? Na appendix you dey remove? Let me tell you, if you are involved in a ghastly car accident with broken bones and spend a week or more in the hospital, your bill will easily run into the 100 thousands. Please quit the bragging and remove your credit score. No one cares. A lot of us also have excellent crefit histories. With the old system, one major incident could run you bankrupt and tank your score. Again stop using hearsay. In the old system a lot of pregnancies were prexisting conditions. The only exceptions were if you got married and your spouse already had the insurance. As a single mum, if you got pregnant before your new job or insurance they had the right not to pay for the pregnancy. They did in many cases because i know quite a few. You say in the old system, you could shop around with pre existing conditions. You are a joker. Yes you could shop around but would be denied because the insurance companies only wanted to make profit. Pray you never fall ill and require major medical attention because your arrogance is disheartening. I know a couple with 890k dollar bills on their head that just decided to move back to nigeria because of constant harrassment from bill collectors. |
gypsey:All this epistle won't change a simple fact. All you have to do is ask people trying to get passports in Nigeria. The passport issue is from Nigeria. How many times do i have to explain this. The high commission has its own issues no doubt about that but the current scarcity of 32 page passports is from NIGERIA. 64 page passports are available. Your grievances should be towards the nigwrian immigration service and the nigerian government. The current scarcity is not unique to the UK. Ask around Also you say why are they charging you? Again point your grievances to the NIS and the Nigerian govt. They are the ones responsible for the passpoet fees |
justwise:The current issue has nothing to do with the high commission. Yes, they may have had their issues in the past but the current 32page scarcity is a nationwide problem even in Nigeria. 64pages are available but people don't want because they have to pay more. I wouldnt either. |
cosade:In no way do i support poor service. I am highlighting a point that at THIS TIME, it is a nationwide problem. If you want 64 page passports, you will get one ASAP. Her specific issue was about the delay in getting the passport. It is unfair to lump all the blame over an issue the high commission has no control over. Of course, i am aware of other service delivery issues the high commission has and i am not supporting them in anyway |
Billyonaire:Presidential libraries are an exception. They are of historic importance. Has nothing to do with whether people can read ebooks online |
Lexyteejay:Exactly. She is just creating unnecessary noise. 32 page booklets are scarce. If she wants to pay for the 64 page she will get one ASAP. She no wan spend money. Even in Nigeria, the 32 page is scarce so it's not the embassys fault at this time. She should take her noise to the nigerian immigrarion seevice or whoever is responsible in Abuja. |
scribble:Seriously? You realize this makes everything else you posted lack credibility? |
abbey621:I don't wish sickness on anyone but stop the arrogance. If you get cancer or require surgery, your savings will do absolutely nothing. Numerous people go bankrupt due to medical bills. Please tell me how your savings will save you from a $1.5 million dollar surgery bill? And if you say you are that rich and can pay it then $1000 a year should not bug you? Sure, the ACA, has faults but why are we ignoring the positives that far outweigh the negatives. In the past, there were lifetime maximums. If you had cancer, after a while the insurance companies would stop paying and you either die or find money to pay or go to india or mexico. Also, kids that can stay on their parents plans till 26. Did you know in the past, that pregnancy was a pre existing condition? Meaning if you got pregnant before your new job or insurance, the insurance company coyld chose to deny coverage? Finally, 20million people now have coverage that couldn't before. |
spartan117:You are very ignorant. Please tell me how you know i watch CNN. Children of nowadays who jump into conclusions thinking they know everything. I make my own decisions based on facts and I'm not swayed by the news/media |
scribble:You are a child so i won't bother schooling you. Look up the meaning of role model and see how it impacts disadvantaged ethnicities. Prior to 2008, idiots like you would have said a black man can never be POTUS. The fact that Obama became POTUS, saved the Auto industry from collapse, and pulled the US back in the right path of recovery is HISTORIC and nothing you uneducated buffons can do will change that. So many wanted him to fail and yet he came out flying. Handled the office with class and dignity. |
SalamRushdie:You are also too dull to realize that OBAMA is an American and not an African and he will only do things in the interest of the USA first. What brand of uneducated brats do we have on this forum sef? Because he is black, all of a sudden he has to favor Africa? When will you lazy bums fend for yourselves and stop expecting others to help you? |
spartan117:Speak for yourself. Obama is a hero to many of us. They tried to find baggage on him, yet not even ONE scandal. Abeggi, YOU SIR, a "nobody" is the disgrace because you have made no impact whatsover. Because of Obama, Black kids know they can aspire to be POTUS. Obama is a HERO. It is not UP for discussion, that's what the FOORK he is. |
Kemperor:If cancer no kill you, old age will. Die na die. Enjoy life while you can |
bitcoininvesto:They already do. There are numerous naija expats in France and Good Ol US of A. |
lastpage:Being broke is a function of your debt to income ratio. If he has all those and his expenditure exceeds what he makes from all those, then he is broke. If you own assets that bring in 2 billion and your recurring expenditure is 1.5 billion, yes your net-worth is high, but you are BROKE. Not saying that's OBJ's situation but i don't see why it is so unbelievable that he may be broke. |
Abeg, how long can a sitting president stay out of the country before he is removed/impeached/rendered unfit for work? Anybody knows? If you tell your employer, you are on vacation for an indefinite period, no be sack dem go sack you immediately? |
celestialAgent:For this recession....no megabyte to waste na. You can't blame anyone oo. |
DuBLINGreenb:If they do block, it will only be for phone operators. You would still be able to use skype via ISP's |
sorextee:when dem tell you say make you buy better phone, you go dey buy chinco phone. how e no go blurry.... ..........just joking... |
