In the old time, a good Christian can be easily identified in character, speech, lifestyle, holy life, dressing, association, separation from the world. Things like resisting bribery, staying pure till marriage, avoiding exam malpractice, not singing worldly music, doing evangelism, not dressing seductively, living a holy life etc were part of the features of a good Christian. Even the world may call the Holy Holy people. In the modern era, that is today's era, we still have good Christians, but many fake Christians. What you may see today is people speaking in tongues, shouting in prayers and still committing sins such as corruption, hookup, lying, malpractice, fornication, lying, lesbianism, homosexuality, adultery, sleeping with EX before wedding day etc. If you tell them to live holy, they may say "your own is too much", "Christianity is in the heart", "on that day we go see who go enter heaven". Some may dance worldly dance steps in church, dress like hookup girls, smoke sisha, drink alcohol, be side chics etc. Yet they may be the most aggressive when it comes to prayers. Even the world may hardly differentiate them with a sinner, hookup etc. |

In those days, miracles were deep. Things such as hunch back disappearing, totally blind eyes opening, deep cripples walking, short hand or legs growing out to align with the normal hand or leg, etc. But today, there are still miracles, but the dept of miracles is not totally same as before and some people may think miracles are arranged to scam people. But in the past, you may not hear this. Why did we have some raw miracles in the past? We had intensive preaching of the cross and salvation of Jesus Christ. Rapture message was preached deeply. Suffering for Jesus was more taken as part of Christianity. There was more tendency for some or many Christians not to compromise. There worldliness was not as much compared to that of today. Some ladies may say they want committed relationship. It is good to be committed in a good relationship, but as a guy be careful in being committed to a relationship for these reasons. (1) You Might Be Used as Comfort Zone: Some ladies may want serious relationship with you just to probably get stability using you, while they flirt with an unserious EX, friend etc. that is not willing to be committed to them. (2) You Might Be Wasting Time: You have to be double sure that you are with the right lady before you start commitment. It is a waste of time investing your time, love, opportunities, finances etc. on a relationship that is in deceit or that is wrong. You may end up counting lost years. (3) You May Be Loving The Wrong Person: Building and being committed to a relationship where the lady is in love with another person but holding unto you because of bad circumstances she is going through. Imagine a lady using you to build her life and career, while waiting for the guy she loves to be stable in finances and career, so that she can dump you to follow her "heart". 9 Likes 1 Share |
