Ebubu: i actually want to go to abroad.
two things are on my mind
within 7 years, make enough money and buy an NPA job in Nigeria, or buy FIRS job with at least 7 million naira.
or i live and work in abroad for very long time, set up an exporting company in Nigeria. Retire back to Nigeria in late 50s, and keep exporting my cocoa or tea from Eleme port while earning in $ and receiving forex assistance from CBN.
the second one is more proper because it is a generational business, i don’t want my kids to wake up and be looking forward to a 8am-4pm regular work, let them be born business owners.
i can only choose first option if i miss nigeria so much or the country seems to be getting better, or is on the right track. 2022frustrated what do you think? |

People are doing well...
I'd rather do security job in Canada and get paid good wage than do security job in Nigeria and be paid N40,000 with insults and an average person looking down on me not because of my pay but because they already have the mindset that security guards are nonentities.
Like ednut1 said, for many of us, it isn't only just about the money, it's the dignity in doing menial jobs without being look down upon, without your employer feeling your nature of job does not deserve a good pay, etc.
I laugh at your analysis of an Uber driver making N15,000 per day. Maybe in Lagos, but Abuja where I for drive Uber? LMAO. It only happens on exceptional days. if i get security work like this in canada i don leave nigeria oo. then once i lap, i combine am with 3 other jobs and collect 3 salaries monthly. funny thing their security work will be soo neat and employer and passers-by will be so respectful, then compare it with how security people are treated here in Nigeria |

Some people go abroad go find capital they will use for business in Nigeria, Some go seek knowledge they will come use in Nigeria- NDDC oga na from abroad, Tinubu, Saraki, Omo Agege, Adenuga and many others na from abroad they come back, Na 10k daily this one dey talk about hahahaha. Shallow troll. Many of the rich men and averagely rich guys wey dey 9ja most don send their wife and kids abroad lol. OP keep consoling yourself for living in Nigeria.
Don’t find means to japa to America or UK and work 3 jobs.
Note I said 3 jobs not 1 job.
I’ve always wondered why my friends who go to US you will see their last seen midnight. They don’t stay up to a minute online, just come online, all messages are delivered, they respond to urgent messages, log out. You better reach them on calls.
Nigga comes back late by 4am, by 8am goes to work, finishes by 2pm, goes to another work from 4-8pm. by 9pm resumes Night Uber work.
Omo in a month guyy man don convert em earnings to black market rate and send to Nigeria without going through CBN rate.
Those people in abroad hardly have time because plenty work dey to do, and you no send anybody papa even if na to be security guard at midnight because absolutely nobody knows you so nothing like “you go cast”.
omo who no wan jakpa make e remain. fact be say multiple workers in abroad are saving decent amount of money. |

ASUU should resume jare
Appeal may be fixed May 2023.
So they’ll strike from now till May 2023?
That will be 1year, 3 months of strike
By 2023, those in year 1 will still be those who entered in 2019.
ASUU should resume while this case continues in court.
The both can run simultaneously. |

anonymuz: then the vice Chancellors should go to classes. We can only appeal to ASSU. We can't force them. It's an organised labor union the next step would be for FG to enact a legal backing to “resume or be sacked policy”, ensure the law is in place, then enforce it. make i see which lecturer no go resume. |

naijaboy99: Saving $30 is close to saving $1,000 every month. Majority of migrants in Canada and I think America too cos they have similar system make between $2,500 to $3,000 monthly after tax that's if you have a annual paying job of $40,000 (which over 50% don't). So can you break down for us how you save $900 monthly from $2,500 or even $3,000? i SAID MULTIPLE JOBS |

i don’t know about canada and their yeye economy though.
but someone in USA running on multiple jobs can save more than $30 a day (after taxes, meals and et cetera).
USA economy na your mate ? $30 daily after taxes and everything is small. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Breaking News!! ASUU Sues Court To Court. by Ebubu: 7:56pm On Sep 21, 2022 |
Iliveforever: Once they sue NIC to appeal court, they’ll request for an injunction which will be binding on NIC not to carry out any act against ASUU.
Las las na the people wey support of buhari for 2015 & 2019 cause all this nonsense and as if that’s not enough, they’re back again to support tinubu. Shame on them and their pedigree the appeal will be struck out because the judgement is an interlocutory injunction which legally can NOT be appealed. Wasted effort. |

And if I was not teaching you my produce before why are you crying for me to teach you my produce now, for free? so what do you want to now be paid for if not the last 7months you’ve not been teaching ? on the second paragraph, if you decide not to teach it will attract administrative sanctions. |

And thankfully, since I have wisely stored my produce in my head where it's hard for you to steal it, you'd need my consent before you can have it and I am asking for compensation.
And after your Buhari has treated me like he treated Nnamdi Kanu, Zakzaky, Sunday Igboho, Dasuk for refusing to relinquish my produce for free, he can go ahead and hire monkeys for peanuts to educate you his children. Just you note that he does not appear to send his own actual children to the same schools the monkeys teach in. whatever. exams, graduation, promotion, are all that matters, |

Last time I checked, Ghana needs lecturers, and if they don't there's alway Congo, and that's if I don't end up somewhere much better like Armenistan or USA where ordinary secondary school teacher is paid more and on time. My own be say Osodoke and lecturers who refuse to carry on with academic activities will be in a mess if they disobey court order. All of us should know who Buhari is by now. You can ask Nnamdi Kanu, Zakzaky, Sunday Igboho, Dasuki. |

budaatum: Is your head correct at all? In fact, are you sure you are a student and not some useless agbero who did not pass jamb, has no matrik number and is just loitering around the school causing trouble?
See as I am leaving you alone and you are crying that I should come to class and not leave you alone and at the same time asking me to leave you alone! Is it not because I am leaving you alone that is making you cry here asking me to be concerned about your 7-8 months rent when 7-8 months salary me your lecturer has not been paid! Is my own landlord not going to collect 7-8 months rent from me who has not seen salary for 7-8 months and other entitlements for much longer?
I am not superhuman who is able to be fight government and be fighting your lack of learning at the same time! But it's not your fault. If I had educated you well, it's you who would be fighting government on my behalf to pay me so I don't leave you alone because you very well know that the little you school fees you paid does not cover my okada not to talk of fuel my tokunbo, and you very well know you did not pay your school fees to me your lecturer! Refusing to work while not on strike will simply attract administrative sanctions. It’s called gross misconduct in the public service and there are ways of dealing with that. |
