Jman06: They better do o
Because ordering a hungry lecturer back to class without hope of getting paid in the nearest future is not a good thing to do it’s not a good thing at all. many of them are already on debts. they may use students to sort their debts off and there might be many F in this semester results. |

engrtee: Fg that don't obey court orders because they are the government itself. you want to go and join FG in not obeying court orders ? lolz they will show you what government can do and get away it, an ordinary person can’t. form 48 will be filled for ASUU chairman by the registrar in the court. court contempt has a fine and possible jail term. just obey. |

Judolisco: so they can't appeal the judgment!? they can not until the main court case has been given a final verdict. they can appeal the final verdict of the court case, but have been prevented from appealing this resumption. the sim is to get them teaching while court case drags on, court case can prolong for several months and even up to a year. no judge will want students to wait that long. they can’t appeal this order to resume while court case continues, but they can appeal the eventual outcome of the court case. (where court may rule that FG will not pay them their 7months salary, or where court rules FG must obey 2009 agreement, that is the one they can appeal which is yet to come), this instant order to resume, is non-appealable. |

Jman06: This is the best decision at this time.
However, the court has to order FG to pay the lecturers their 6months salary eventually.
The court provided an opportunity for both sides to save face in the egoistic struggle. I hope both sides utilize the opportunity i am sure if ASUU obeys, the court will eventually order FG to pay them their salary at the next court sitting whenever it holds. |

tsephanyah: Lol. Too much of watching suits. If you think it's that easy FG would have that months ago rule for taking case to industrial court is that many overtures to court the union must have failed. i think ASUU played into FG hands. instead of accepting the little they were given. |

tsephanyah: If y'all think ASUU will call off strike because of this..... Y'all need to go back and read ASUU strike history form 48 would be signed by court registrar to commit ASUU President for contempt of court. Contempt of court involves fines and jail terms as penalty. |

Maxymilliano: The same court should have ordered the FG to pay the lecturers loss to ASUU. but the court could. the case is still on. court just asks them to resume while the case continues. at the end of the case which could take 4-6months, court could ask FG to pay them the 6 months salaries. for now, let them resume pending the outcome of the court hearing. court cases are dragged |

news coming in. Remember ASUU have been involved with Federal Government for weeks now. The national industrial court of Nigeria (NICN) has ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call off its ongoing nationwide strike. ASUU has been on strike since February 14 to press home the demand for improved funding for universities, a review of salaries for lecturers, among other issues. Several meetings between ASUU and the federal government have ended in a deadlock. Consequently, the federal government went to court to challenge the strike. The government through its counsel, James Igwe prayed the court for an interlocutory injunction restraining ASUU from taking further steps as regards the strike, pending the determination of the substantive suit. https://www.thecable.ng/breaking-court-orders-ASUU-to-call-off-strike/amp |

all thanks to improved gay laws as if gay promotes reproduction
all thanks to high cost of living as life is more expensive now so it doesn’t bode well to have many kids.
all thanks to irreligiousism as religion advices us to procreate.
last last, they will have to open their doors to immigrants and grant more “americanization” to immigrants otherwise they’ll be faced with depleted workforce. |

Tunjibalogun: I'm really trying to solve this puzzle of how Ebonyi governor is able to build his infrastructures well ahead and more than states with large debts who also earn more. Ebonyi is one of those southern States who receive little allocation just like my back yard, Ekiti state. Yet Ebonyi has one of the most visible projects in Nigeria today. After Jigawa, Ebonyi is the least indebted
How is that really happening? I'm very curious to know
https://www.nairaland.com/7343562/lagos-tops-list-highly-indebted
Cc lalasticlala Mynd44 OAM4J front page please he uses the state ministry of works and infrastructure for all projects. other states award contracts to foreign contractors with high wage, hence not much fund is left for other projects. use of foreign contractors is the difference here. in ebonyi you’ll even see local women with tray pans doing the construction, yet it turns out standard due to good supervision. thanks to engineer dave! cheap labor! |

FakeIgboJew: I did a thread on this which has since been deleted titled : Igbo women are meant for recreational purposes only".
In that thread I exposed the cultural reasons why Igbo women are discouraged to marry outside the tribe over the informal culture of their husbands carrying the financial burden of caring for their in-laws.
In that thread , I also highlighted materialism as a bedrock of Igbo matrimony and how Igbo women are fair weather wives who only stick to a marriage as long as their material needs and that of their parents are meant which I said is one reason pushing Igbo men into crime to renew their rental marriage and also reasons for late marriages among their men folk who see marriage as a financial contract that can only be possible when they make as much money as possible .
I also linked this Igbo materialistic culture to their affinity to Marxism as we van see how all their women are now flaming feminists.
So when they go abroad where feminism thrives and owing to the fact that they see no reason to have a man around after using the poor sap to get into the west , they start their rubbish.
Note that even in Nigeria tonnes of Igbo men are in a hellish marriage .
Its not unique to those abroad but since divorce is seen as a taboo here, the man will swallow every rubbish from his OSU wife . fantastic submission |
