Governors of Kaduna, Kano, Jogawa, Zamfara, and finally Ogun state ordered the closure of Banks and Business Plazas, Markets that refuse old notes for purchases or deposits.

The intention is to ensure the local use of old notes, so that when the GP tanks are released and homes hoarding notes are unlocked before election day, voters can be assured of collecting them on election days for rigging, and afterward be confident of using the old notes shared on election days to buy items in the markets, so as it not being a waste.


Old notes exchanging markets mean votes buying will be easier.
