SpaceTour: Abakaleke has always been the headquarters of ipob terrorists because of high level of illiteracy and poverty it is very easy to recruit ebonyi indigenes into ipob
why not go to Abakiliki and mouth your disagreement with their "method' of protest, I am sure you will like to hear and feel what they think about you!
OldBeer: Bringing city vibes to modernize village. Nothing new.
The governor way bring in White English man as sanitation general manager.......Go to Dubai and see how foreigners don set the city as no 1 mega city in the world.........Yorubas want to turn lagos further into mushin and isale eko.......make una continue!
cralias: Useless people.. Say no to simon ekpa and his gang..criminals
I saw the hired security operatives of ifeanyi Uba patrolling the decrepit and forlorn streets of Nnewi..............The whole nnewi looked like a badly maintained pig sty....even Bank road looked like a bombing range! Uba and Soludo should at least sweep the streets of Onitsha and Nnewi before attacking sit at home mondays...................The lack of principles and self conviction of some present day Igbo youth is a massive turn off for me! How can anybody condemn the sit at home initiative of IPOB? why not censure the near useless and ineffectual political elite we have in power today in Alaigbo!
May you succeed in this worthy goal andambition!!!!!
Ifeanyi Uba who was deported from Congo for sundry state crimes, Ifeany Uba that defrauded Coscharis of billions of Naira, ifeanyi Uba that owes banks billions and ifeanyi Uba that forfeited billions in assets and even a tank farm to Amscon for being a perpetual 'debitor'...............na this man you want to follow, no wonder Anambra state is in shambles! tufiakwa
Depriest2020: Don't worry about North, North is fine ok. Think and worry about your region, even if power don't return to the north in the next 50yrs, North would still be fine.
Petrol is 530 here not 700. Food is cheap in the North, house rent is cheap, transport fare is cheap to compare with other regions, the average northerner is contented with the little he has and let's nothing worry him. The north has more than a thousand billionaires in dollars not naira, forget Forbes listing just Dangote & Abdulsalmad Rabiu as the only dollar billionaires.
North is heavily diversifying into production. POP Cola, beverages is giving coca-cola a-run-for-their-money here in the North. Aspira company has given PZ a-run-for-their-money, PZ has anounced they would quit production of toiletries. google about POP beverages and Apira company to learn more about North diversifying to production, there's many more companies here that I can't immediately name them all.
yet children in the north are sniffing septic tank fumes and young girls pop out kids at tender ages of 12 years and get their birth canals destroyed in the process! northern Nigeris is the poverty capital of the entire known universe........una no serious!
undisputedKOC: President Tinubu is a man I highly respect and like so much. I was one among many who committed our huge resources, time and much more to ensure that Nigeria didn't miss the chance to have the kind of exceptional quality leadership Tinubu could offer to this country that would spur remarkable economic growth and unprecedented national development like we have never seen before in Nigeria.
This is desperately needed at this time, especially after Nigerians had suffered 8 years of an unbelievable calamitous regime in the administration of this country led by that incredible failure called Buhari. If there was someone with the magic hand to quickly and systematically turn things around for the better permanently, it was definitely a visionary like Tinubu, not a profiteering self-enriching politician like Atiku and most definitely not Peter Obituary, who doubles as both an IPOB terrorists candidate and leader of the social media bandits who call themselves Obidîots
While with the actions taken so far, it is getting clearer by the day that the wonderful majority of Nigerians made the best choice of electing President Tinubu. We are already witnessing a Leadership catalyst in the system trying to ignite an economic boom again, just within 2 months. This is highly commendable.
However, it must be stated and publicly declared for the world to see that it is not enough for the President to simply stop the haemorrhage of public funds for public service to the masses being siphoned through the veins of various subsidies programs by the exceptionally corrupt agents of government and their accomplices in the private sector.
President Tinubu must as a matter of national urgency, set up a dynamo system that will effectively cut down the unbelievably overbloated costs of governance by the federal government of Nigeria that has grown over the years. President Tinubu must move the FG of Nigeria from the direction of being an insatiable glutonous monster that devours all available funds it can access at the expense of national growth and development and to the consistent detriment of its citizenry. President Tinubu must tweak or remake the federal system from a system of free up/ generating more funds in the system for government executives to continue living in extreme largesse and super-luxury without accountability and/or parity with the true economic reality of the country and the politicians to embezzle.
President Tinubu must effectively immediately brainstorm and implement a sustainable system that will trim and curb Federal Government expenses to necessities only, and not frivolities. And he must begin with himself. A President doesn't need billions in feeding expenses yearly, or 10 presidential jets.
President Tinubu must set the precedence that he is different from all the spendthrift Presidents we have been having since 1999, and the worst of them all being Buhari. He must show that he is cut from a different cloth from these wasteful gluttons of our commonwealth. Failure to do this and is it more than certain that President Tinubu will be a one-term president if he chooses to operate with the same system of government wastefulness left behind by his predecessor Buhari
My brother you are not serious! Is it from his 200 car convoy that he will cut government spending! Tinubu is a "tax and spend" man! your eyes will see it and your mouth will testify!
princeemma69: Congrats to her. She and Okonji Iweala are making Nigerian women proud. Sadly, Kemi Adeosun would have been among, but she allowed supposed helpers to help her and forge NYSC exemption certificate without following due process.
wetin dat one pass? fulanis understand the west plot to finish Africa........push us into further debt, that way they can play us like yoyo! At least iweala tried to outsmart them for awhile!
kettykin: I have been thinking of this but who looses last last , the rail project is on its way to becoming the world worst white elephant project , if the rail project had covered the east , some igbos would prever to convey whole families, villages to and from east for Xmas, Easter, weddings ,traditions ceremonies etc . Nigeria lost big time on this, any time they marginalise the east they set Nigeria back by 50 years. they refused to build a steel project in the east and Ajaokuta and other rolling mills never worked, again they built only 1 Airport in Enugu and the Airports they built all over the country are now being used by rodents and Animals. They starved the east of Sea ports and the ports they funded have turned to dead spots with clogged up roads, These people never learn , they starved eastners during the war and today there are IDPs camps in all the Nigeria Geo political zones that conspired against the East. Even now Soviet Union is fighting among them selves (Russia vs Ukraine )and Britain is in big economic decline
He that blesses Isreal will be Blessed, he that curses Ireal will recieve wotowoto...! indeed they never learn!
SpaceTour: Onitsha-Owerri is a federal road , it is expected that FG should fix that portion that got bad because it links Upper Iweka interchange and Obosi interchange. If FG cannot do it, Soludo should do it and seek for refund thereafter. However there are worse roads than this in Owerri, Aba and Enugu.
Good enuff! this road is perharps the most vital road coming into onitsha proper..........the loss of manhours is uncountable....that road is an "everyday sit at home" for the businesses in that axis!
SpaceTour: You are talking nonsense. Most of you are not even from Anambra, face your backward state. Niger drive is under reconstruction, Upper Iweka to Ochanja is under construction, roads in 3-3, trans Nkisi are under construction, etc. Soludo maybe slow but denying he isn’t doing anything is false
I do not want to be unnecessarily pessimistic but Soludo needs to tinker his road policy ASAP.............this is what Onitsha /owerri has turned into. The funny thing is that the drainage channels on both sides of this particular drain from New Tarzan to metallurgical is so deep and wide ,that 2 keke tricycles can run along the drain or canals.........yet soludo in 15 months has not been able to desilt these vital canal! I tire o!
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has urged the President-elect, Bola Tinubu and incoming state governors of the Southeast to transform the region into the “Dubai” of West Africa.
Ohanaeze’s Secretary-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, made the call in response to a proposed move by Southwest states to launch a regional railway line and electricity projects.
Isiguzoro said Tinubu’s administration and those of the incoming governors should establish rail lines across Owerri, Onitsha, Awka and Abakaliki.
Speaking with DAILY POST, Isiguzoro said: “Ohanaeze is calling on the new governors from the Southeast and that of Imo and Anambra to take drastic measures to ensure that rail line passes through Owerri, Onitsha, Awka, and Abakaliki.
“Ohanaeze is taking a lead role in ensuring that there is a rail connection from the commercial nerve centre of the Southeast, Aba, to Owerri to Onitsha where there is a dry seaport.
“But there is no connection between Enugu to Abakaliki. We are challenging the new governors to ensure that by January 2024 we must have achieved 80 per cent of these regional railway lines and electricity.”
He also said further: “We want to congratulate the Abia State Governor for building a geometric power plant in Aba through Professor Nnagi which has been providing electricity for the SMEs and lighting up Aba and its environs. “We also commend the Ebonyi State governor for the International Airport that would create employment and business opportunities for the people of the state. We are looking at these industrial revolutions that, if properly managed by the incoming administration of Southeast governors, like the regional railway and electricity designed by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, will transform the Southeast into Dubai and the centre of attraction of West Africa.”
According to him, this agenda cannot be achieved without the support of the incoming Tinubu administration.
Isiguzoro added: “Ohanaeze is urging our people to stop the spirit of antagonism which has turned our region into a horrible place. Most of the marginalisation cry is done by external factors.
“We must end the marginalisation mentality and have a productive mentality. We should form alliances with the moving train.”
This Isiguzoro or whatever he calls himself is a genius, this 'one man press release machine ' must be cashing out one way or the other! This man has been in this fictitious sec gen position for over 5 years now! There is nothing one will not see in the abominable fulani republic!
helinues: More illegal buildings to be destroyed in the coming week.
Before building your house, get the approval from government
I just love the new found boldness of ndiyoruba.....maybe the clueless Igbo one Nigerianists will learn some sense..........make una come home to Biafraland.......It is peaceful Eastside, Anambra is in good hands....Abia is set to boom under Otti and Ebonyi just commissioned a very Colorful airport! Leave Eko for haters like hellisnew and his cohorts!
OneCandleAway: Career politicians. They can't survive without being in power. That's why Nigeria will not get better when we can't bring new people into the system especially technocrats who will work and leave to go back to their jobs.
Aboki and Afonjudas..........captured Nigeria at the end of the civil war........Ndigbo have no appetite to dislodge them by force so its gonna be business as usual for another 16 years! Nigerians should brace themselves for more suffering!
Aonkuuse: When i thought the North was more tribalistic, Buhari's government (Nepotism) has exposed a lot of hidden tribalistic nature of us all.
... And to think of it, hundreds of policemen (policemen mostly from other tribes) are been killed, government properties destroyed in the east, but these same people were really silent, no single word of condemnation from them. The same people suddenly found their voice and are telling me that they want a better Nigeria and i should support their heavenly ordained candidate. What i know is that God is not a man, his ways are not our ways and our thoughts are not his thoughts.
you are comparing 2 different scenarios............the struggle in the southeast is between security forces that have for years been extra-judicially executing young men said to be members of IPOB! once unarmed, IPOB armed up and the scores have since changed.......Many slimebags like yourself praised the army for shooting these IPOB members just for the sole reason that they were Igbos! It is good to tell the truth at all times!
Besides the so called Sec gen of Ohaneze that released that apology is a one man faction of Ohaneze, why people continue to pay attention to the buffoon is jus befuddling!
JoshTim: Bursted!!!! Samples have already been determined apriori, so claims that you used a random sample is a lie, you know that.
If you understand statistics so well as you claimed, you will understand that what you just generated is an estimate not the accurate figure.
It's also important to get a representative sample rather than get a sample that is skewed so that your analysis can follow a normal distribution. Else, what you just generated will have standard deviation greater than zero, skewness greater than zero, and kurtosis less than 3 or greater than 3.
I will like to ask the confidence interval for this your result?
What is the standard error?
It is an estimate and we cannot say for sure how accurate your estimate is. I believe your data is skewed to places where peter obi got majority of his votes.
Stop obscuring what is potentially the most brazen electoral heist in Nigeria's history! the 2 tribes that have seized the commonwealth of the so called One Nigeria know quite well they cannot compete in a level playing field, so they cheat, lie, manipulate their way to relevance always! The ''scoundrel that stole a precious crown is merely wearing a face cap''..........................Kudos to all Nigerians of goodwill standing for the truth, history will vindicate you as for those bearing false witness they will soon receive there due reward!
