Anambra's cities are like the former Port Harcourt of the 1990s. Unplanned, congested, and with only dual carriageway road in the city as the Aba-PH expressway. However with firm determination, wise investment of the 13% derivation under the OBJ regime and a lot of demolitions by Rotimi Amaechi for roads expansion, Port Harcourt eventually had a very nice road network!

Soludo can do the same in Anambra cities but it takes A LOT of determination and persistence to achieve.

I completely concur.........I remember the stress of crossing the junction at slaughter from trans amadi into Trans woji! That place gave me countless nightmares! The lack of vision prevalent in South east governments can be so appalling! The civil service in Anambra needs tinkering o!

What I was expecting from him by now, we supposed to have low income housing many places, that civil servant can buy with 10 million or less. But nothing has been done on this area, even our past governors did nothing on housing too.

i doubt if you can get any 3 bedroom building for that amount of money, what government needs to do is to establish a Diasporan investment fund,that all Anambrarians can invest in Dollars.......the fund can provide mortgage for potential buyers who want to buy homes that are built to standard.............3 bedroom bungalows properly built and sold for say 20-30 million can be easily financed by such a fund! I believe they are called REIT bonds or funds or something in the US........

There are many road projects ongoing in Awka and Onitsha. Niger/Creek road is being dualised down to main market, Upper Iweka to main market is equally being dualised down to main market, a lot of road projects are ongoing in Akpaka areas of Onitsha, Okpoko is being rebuilt, etc. there are many roads under construction in Awka too, Oby Okoli down to Ebenebe is being dualised. Club road also, massive unban infrastructures are ongoing. Soludo is barely one year in office. Some of these projects will start seeing completion by his second anniversary. I forgot to mention the biggest Solution fun city he just awarded in Awka. Soludo might not be moving at the pace you want but he is doing so much all over Anambra
