He said Nigeria has moved forward since after the election. Lol. This guy is high. A government that it took 2 months since inauguration (5 months since the supposed election victory) to send ministerial list, and will take another 1 month for their inauguration even after the rubber stamp Senate did caricature screening for is talking about moving forward.

How forward have we moved since May 29? Well, apart from the increasing incessant security problems and the alleged secret burial of Nigerian soldiers.

So Mr Shina, tell your sitting president to get working.

Has Buhari accounted for the missing fund or was the fund missing only under GEJ? Or they later found it and kept quiet?

One of the numerous propaganda that brought down a sane government and gave us an insensitive yet ineffective one.

All of the vague allegations against GEJ are now really happening and nobody is batting an eye.
PoliticsRe: "Nigerians Work Very Hard, Shows Nigeria Is Bound To Do Well"- Osinbajo In US by echelons(m): 6:48am On Jun 24, 2019
Hardwork doesn't always guarantee success. If the conditions on ground are not favorable, all the work will be waste, aiki banza.

Just a few years ago, Nigerians' hardwork pays, they go home knowing that they can feed themselves and their families, and hoping to work harder the following day.

These days, the policies, the inactions and vengefulness of this government have taken that away from people, and this has made some to go into crimes, immorality, and the very weak ones commiting suicide.

So. Mr VP, spare us the rhetorics.

God #DeliverUs.

guys please I seriously need suggestions on what inverter to buy.
I want advice from someone who currently uses one.. Pls comment on this thread if you have little time to spare, it would mean a lot to me. cry

https://www.nairaland.com/5236441/inverters-worth-it
I currently use Prag inverter and 2 batteries.

They're quite expensive comparatively but it's been stable for the last one year I've been using it.

Advice; don't buy inverter if you don't have electricity at least 8 hours per day. It will damage the batteries, and trust me, you don't want to be changing batteries frequently. Alternatively, go solar.

2: don't overload the inverter. I use mine strictly for home appliances, without fridge.

I actually said the government is building roads, and yes it's true for Abuja where I stay, and so many roads I ply enroute my hometown.

I'm not a fan of this administration one bit, and I believe they've practically done nothing in the Education, Health, Housing and virtually every other sector.

Weep for your stupid self. USA has the largest accrued debt in the world but it's counterbalanced by their high revenue and foreign reserve which was all looted by your lord and saviour, Jonathan.

If Jonathan was already borrowing despite oil boom, what did you expect Buhari to do during this global oil price recess? What I'm particularl with is what Buhari uses this borrowed funds to do and he's done well so far.
Very easy to compare your country with the USA when it comes to borrowing, but you'll never ask what the borrowings are for. Has the government ever given specifics of what is being borrowed for?

Buhari entered and for 6 months provided zero leadership. Failed to make political appointments, presided over the worst economic erosion the country has suffered since after the civil war.
You can accept the regular deceit, Buhari did not oversee the worst oil prices in the history of the country, Oil sold for less than $30 under Obasanjo, yet his government dragged the country out of post military despondence.
Baba is just a specialist in failure when it comes to building a nation, it's natural to him and he hasn't disappointed.

Ordinary grass cutting project by a top Buhari appointee, the monies have gone down the drain.

Continue to post phantom projects up and down.

Zik Mausoleum? And that's a project a FEDERAL government should be shouting about? A one story graveyard?

Onitsha-Enugu Express way? Lol. Have you ever been to that road before?

2nd Niger Bridge? Another phantom project..

N-power? Non pensionable peanut to keep graduates perpetually in penury. Why is his Daughter in the Board of NNPC and not an N-power beneficiary?

You're America is talking about manufacturing jobs, high paying jobs that are in high demands.

In 2016, about 300 colleagues of mine lost their jobs in my organization, for no fault of theirs rather than being employed within a regime that is regressive.
More that 5000 bank staff were sacked same year.

More than 80% of these people are still unemployed, 10% have travelled out of the country. These people, their immediate family, their dependants have all been thrown into poverty because a Boyscout president came to play.

Now you know why I am critical about this government.

If things continue to look this grim, and more and more people continue to be thrown into poverty at the current rate, sooner than later, it will get to you.

Stupid lying attention seeking shit head of a thieving pastor. In one statement you said irrespective of whom you're voting? In another statement, you're convulsing because of your stupid hatred for Buhari. Lol.

Nigeria situation could be likened to a market woman who sells 20 number of corns at a rate of 110 naira per each daily. Years later, the market leaders eventually reduced and controlled the price at 50 naira. The market woman is still expected to sell same 20 number of corns but nothing higher than this. Tell me if the woman's income would increase or decrease? However, if the woman had saved enough when the corn was still priced at 110 naira, she wouldn't be affected by the fall in sales price, pending the time sale price would increase once again.

That's the situation of Nigeria today. When crude oil which is our main source of foreign revenue was selling at $110 per barrel for more than 5 years under Jonathan, Jonathan didn't save but looted us dry instead. We're suffering from this effect today now that crude oil has been selling at a poverty rate of $50 per barrel for the past 4 years under Buhari yet Buhari administration has had so many projects undertaken by him despite earning 60% less.

If only people knew what other oil countries such as Angola and Venezuela are passing through during this global crude oil price recess, they would thank God Buhari came in rather than Jonathan who looted us dry despite oil boom when crude oil was selling at $110 per barrel for five years unlike the paltry $50 it has been selling under APC. If the looting Jonathan couldn't save during the time of plenty and was already borrowing, how would he have carried on during this crude oil price recess?

Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as

Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, Lagos-Abeokuta, kaduna-abuja etc,

The production of low cost fertilizers,

Zik maoseleum

Baro inland port,

Kaduna inland dry port,

Port Harcourt airline terminal,

Abuja airline terminal,

Rice mills,

Foreign reserve increase from $26b to $43b,

Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.

Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc

Payment of all pensions of airline staffs that were forced to retire after the shambolic privatisation by Atiku. PDP didn't pay them in the last 16 years.

And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from $110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry $50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan looted and failed to save during the time of plentiful.

Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again
Earning 60% less and doing more works? This same flawed analogy that Osinbajo has been peddling.
Where do you categorize the over 15 Trillion Naira that this administration has borrowed in the past 3 years? Which equivalent work has been done with it? Can they tell us in specifics how much have been spent on those infrastructure and how much has been paid?

In the name of politics we lost our sense of asking critical questions. The money budgeted for loan repayment in your country's budget is more than what is budgeted for for Education and Health put together, yet you are not worried. The World bank and The IMF have been shouting that we have a very high appetite for borrowing and that it's unsustainable, but the government will be quick to dismiss them, like they do dismiss every other critic.

Buhari didn't come prepared, he hasn't been aware of the doom he's been packaged to lead this country to, yet we whose future are being mortgaged are clapping. Clapping because they give a few people TraderMoni (money that have long been spent on irrelevant purchase), and N-power program, which is a sorry alternative by a government for not providing high paying, pensionable jobs for it's teeming youth population.

I weep for my country. It's time to #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain.

I sincerely weep for Nigeria as a country. Kindly see Nigerian youth without any sense of judgement.

Go and read what obasanjo said about Atiku who always want to buy his way out.

Poverty have changed an average Nigerian mentality.

Which way Nigerian?

You just ended up saying nothing meaningful.

I should go and read Obasanjo's political book before I have an opinion about two totally different Presidential candidates?

Of what use will that be to me? Have you read Obasanjo's letters about Buhari's incompetence or do you not know that those lettes are existing too?

I made informed opinions based on the achievements of Buhari's government (or lack of it) and Atiku's promises.

I rather go with the candidate that gives me hope for the better, than the one that does care, doesn't reason and obviously not even in charge.

See the new way of Vote buying. Few weeks to the election, bring up one stupid scheme, share 5K to 10K to the poor, promise them you'll give them more if you come back, they believe the free money will come again and vote, not according to their conscience but by the spirit behind the money.

This government has succeeded in pushing much more people into abject poverty so they will be able to manipulate them. From N-power scheme, to market money to TraderMoni, all schemes meant to keep people alive enough, but not living.

They even say government will build banks too. When will these guys have sense. When will they understand that government's business is not going into business?

When shall an N-power beneficiary start thinking of buying a house? Paying up for further education?
No need to waste my thoughts on TraderMoni, that one is a total scam will be eliminated after the elections.

Atiku is coming with the promises of growing this economy. Young graduates will get well paying jobs and have capacity to elevate their lives and be capable of putting the smiles on the faces of their parents.

Their will be jobs for artisans because people will have money to pay for their services.

There will be better education for the Nigerian people, so they can be able to define a proper path for their lives.

Private sector businesses will thrive as government will only be involved in making policies that will encourage their growth.

Let's Get Nigeria Working Again.

Atiku is the Answer.
PoliticsRe: 6 Reasons Why I Think it was wise for Atiku to Avoid a Debate without Buhari by echelons(m): 3:29pm On Jan 21, 2019
Atiku not debating is a no brainier. There's nothing to debate if the person you are trying to wrestle power from is nowhere to be found.

My major concern is what were the other candidates doing there really?

Did they think the event was a talk show? Were they thinking it's a pulpit where you preach the gospel?

I expected all of them to have staged a walk out immediately they noticed that Buhari had absconded.

But then, they are mere distractions anyway.

We know we have two options, Failure and Hope; Buhari and Atiku.
