CoronaVirusPro: Peter`s carbon footprint calls for serious concern.
The rate at which he wastes aviation fuel and petrol on frivolous and inconsequential jamborees calls for serious deliberation and stringent actions.
In a world of today, where dedicated and patriotic leaders are conserving energy, and opting for renewable energy, Peter is bent on polluting and degrading the environment. The presidential jet is about 9 Let's start from there |

Gerrard59: While your post is true and good, it does not mean new jobs are created. Rather, companies are simply re-filling those positions with newer folks, not creating new positions. The number of graduate trainee positions/adverts has plunged compared to 2010 - 2014. A good way of assessing the Nigerian economy is when dual citizens move en mass to Nigeria, as it happened during 2000 - 2010/2012. For dual citizens to move to Nigeria, it means the economy is doing well, and Obasanjo's years were Nigeria's golden years in terms of the economy. True |

HighTable: 🤣🤣 The country Nigeria has a lot of potential actually, a lot of politicians with Billions in swiss accounts, but they cannot help their own people, partly because most of us don't know what's going on, and also because they are following some cult like Agendas. For example some people believe a democratically elected president can change the country! The British realize that colonialism has a weak spot - the people can still see their enemies, so they replace it with "our own people" but their own friends and loyalists and they call it DemoCRAZY (demonstration for crazy people). Therefore will can no longer "see" our enemies, those that are really calling the shots and making the policies and trends that favour them through sophisticated manipulations, one of this trend is the JAPA syndrome! You are intelligent |

Alaigbo: Compare to Orient Pandora criminal Peter Obi commissioned in 2013 without a single drop of the same fuel in 2023 yet your foolish ipob tribesmen as not said a word about that. Will hypocrisy not kill you fools.
Can Nigerians believe that all the foolish people wailing about this refinery I quoted above are all igbos.
Can you also believe that Orient petroleum Peter Obi commissioned since 2013 over two decades ago is yet to produce a single litre of fuel yet all the fools above dare not say a word about it but they are quick to insult Dangote that just opened less than a month.
When we say some igbos are born devil 😈 these are the ones we talk about. Such Igbo will insult Awolowo who the world know for is progressive leaning n praise a coup supporting tribal jingoist like Azikwe even label him zuk of Africa but let them tell us a single thing Azikwe did for Africa, even Nigeria.
Shameless set of foolish baboons. You are so damn foolish The worst part is you don't even know it |

MT: Politicians are the same everywhere - wicked, greedy and selfish.
They had 23 years to fund the training of their citizens on these essential jobs but they failed.
They are taking the easiest route out by demonising the immigrants who paid lot of money to come to the UK and do jobs which UK citizens will never do.
Immigrants are like pawns in their hands, and they will deal with them recklessly through wicked policies . Pathetic. I think it's more of the willingness of the people though |

Travel › Re: UK To Close Temporary Visa Schemes As Over 143,000 Nigerian Doctors Migrates In by EconFinance: 12:49pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
MT: Very misleading title
They are taking action NOT because of Nigerian doctors who immigrated but rather because of general immigration which has spiraled out of country.
Immediately after Brexit, Conservative promised the citizens to reduce immigration but ended up doing the opposite. Next year is the election year, they know they are losing that election with a landslide.
If you are currently in the UK, holding any of these visas, you need to be extremely careful. They will stop people coming in and you can be sure Home Office will deal with those that have already immiigrated. It has really spiralled out of control But the govt should sit up and tackle the real issues |

SaintUlot: With the rate at which Nigerians are leaving Nigeria, you will think with N50k you can japa from that country. Every Tom, Dick and Harry have left, the remaining ones are just waiting to buy their flight ticket.
I doubt if we still have up to 1 million people left in Nigeria at this time. So where is that multidimensional poverty statistics coming from? If almost everybody can afford the cost of Japa that doesn't come cheap. This makes me to come to the conclusion that, Nigerians might not have money in their bank account, but majority have tangible assets that can be easily converted to cash if the need arises. You know I just thought about this subject now now And I open nairaland and voila Here it is So let me give you my 2 cents This increased jaapa is now due to the fact that people are seeing it as survival and existential threat As for the finances; you will be amazed at what people are doing to raise funds Steal Rob Borrow huge sums Prostitute Some are even fraudsters Some it's benevolent relatives abroad Etc My point is that for most people It's not that the money is there They just dey rough am ni; borrow left and right ; steal companies funds; sell family lands; etc That's just it |

Anyways, please hike interest rates to bring down inflation. It will also strengthen the Naira. and boost market confidence.
The present negative interest rates makes one think monkeys are running the CBN. The primary thing driving inflation in Nigeria is cost push not demand pull So hiking interest rates won't work much The supply side issues need to be tackled; and watch especially food inflation go down |

He contested a primary election of his party where he made dollar rained in thousands to clinch the party ticket ( the PDP and APC primaries was where the dollar supply scarcity started )
He used every means possible both financially and politically to drag himself into the most coveted seat in this country .
Stop insulting our sensibility by claiming he “inherited a bankrupt country “ . A person ruling over a bankrupt country will not be signing a supplementary budget that still preserve the luxurious lifestyle of our good for nothing political elites .
A person who “inherited a bankrupt country” will not be creating more ministries in this austerity period , appointing gazillion ministers , SSA’s and what have u .
