Lekan239: everybody have an idea of the wide earning difference for sure. What most people don't know is the more the earning, the more the expense overthere.
You built a house from the UK for your parent, oh that's great. But many people who reside in Nigeria are also doing the same..
Someone earning a million naira monthly in Nigeria will live far better socially, emotionally and financially here than someone earning equivalent of 5m naira ($5000) before tax in the UK.
The percentage of people earning 1m naira here might be very little, likewise percentage of Nigerians immigrants earning 5000$ and above monthly legally is minimal.
I have a friend that start up a business last two month in Nigeria with just 3m naira, luckily for me I have started making sales of on average 2m naira monthly. Not everybody will be lucky here in Nigeria, also not all immigrants over there will be lucky too. Paragraph 2 na lie sha |

When i said it that females are smarter sheybi people thiught i had an issue with gender. This thread has vindicated me. I cam point out two.male.handles that have begging on their profile for up to a year now. One just posted another suicidal thread this morning. I told him go and serve, go and work for people. Go and be productive. But for where, all falls on deaf ears. Women lose shame easily thats why they easily aspire for success. stuffs2002: Na lie.. Rufai Oseni is a biased jornalist with hatred for APC and Tinubu. He showed his support for Peter Obi and that is not how a journalist should behave.
Rufai Oseni will ask questions and still be preventing his guests from answering the questions. A journalist should always be neutral. "Rufai hates APC" So says am APC urchin He is stating the facts and asking them tough questions that should be answered That's how journalism supposed to be Not journalist's fawning over politicians and giving them "soft landing" then afterwards going from behind to go beg them for favours. |

emmanuelewumi: Really what is the market rate.
Na animal farm , we are not equal.
The higher the risk of the loan going bad and lack of enough collateral security, the higher the interest rates. It can be higher than 28% per annum.
For secureɗ loans you can get at 18% to 21%.
Big companies like MTN, Dangote etc can even get at lower rates
If you have a fixed deposit which you don't want to liquidate prematurely but you pledged it as a collateral ie cash backed loan you can get at 12% sef.
Again Tony can ask United Capital to package a commercial paper or corporate bond for him at 15% and below.
All these journalists wey no sabi wetin dey happen This is very true |

Athena6: Last week I created a thread talking about how my japa plans have been crushed due to the increase in dollar.
Many adviced me to invest in dollar, this was the advice they gave me months ago but I did follow through because I wasn't sure. My last thread hit front page and 90% of the comments were advising me to invest in dollars, one even quoted that in the past 10 years, the dollar haven't fallen but it increases every year.
One even called me a weak minded person and I am scared to take risks. After everything I thought to myself, since so many people felt this dollar will keep on rising, maybe I should invest afterall life is all about risks.
Well guess what, dollar have decreased, I invested 3M in buying dollars and now in today exchange rate. I have 2.6M now and I either cash out now or hope it will increase.
Right now, I am very angry. Those giving me advice should come and contribute the 400k for me o
Another thing, do you think the dollar will increase or should I just cut my loses. I am so tired 😫 You better keep your USD No need changing back to naira and crystalizing your losses |

I swear, with 15m,I must make over 1m every month here in nigeria and live Large the way I want.
15m. Gives me a 6k cartons loading capacity, which I sell each carton on a net profit margin of 100 naira the lowest and within 3days I must sell everything off.
I am sure to do atleast 3 times turn over within 30days.
There for 600k(profit)x3=1.8m.
