cheruv:really, the Jonathan you follow left the country in a mess, this same mess we are in would have remained if Jonathan had won. If you reason the matter you will realise our current economic woes is based on both our own doing as well as international factors outside our control. Mr man, Mr pdp, Jonathan isn't an igbo man. He was a southerner and dats all u have in common with him. Don't call urself a Nigerian if all ur aversion on buhari is because he is a northern Muslim and nothing else |
EternalTruths:he criticised Jonathan, and Nigerians proved their anger by voting him out. Same will be applied to buhari or apc if found wanting. Our strength lies in our choices and not our criticisms. Corruption must die. It has to. We are suffering for it. For our children sake. Corruption is colossal. If this is the pdp's turn for the purge. Let it be so . The apc will have their day with us soon. |
mysteriousman:Well said. There must be criticism, but how constructive is it. Go through threads on this forum and you will see people whose criticism are biased and jaundiced, every issue must be treated with partisan gloves with them. They refuse to face the issues. Jonathan was judged by his fruits and we voted him out, let's allow the fruits of this government judge them. While we remember and retain our rights to vote them out if found wanting. That's where the power of the electorate lies and not in unconstructive criticisms filled with bias and hate |
olyivy:listen dear you are still analysing issues from a partisan perspective. As a Nigerian who has no partisan stake, I don't care how the fight is done, except that it is done. And it goes beyond reach of what the executive can do. As far as I am concerned the corruption must be dealt with in whichever party it exists, every dog has its day, if Jonathan had done this, apc would still have won the elections and hopefully we would have a cleaner apc than the rogues present today, buhari is cleaning up the pdp, hopefully when he is through and they wrestle out power come 2019, they can do same to the apc. The fact is that as a Nigerian corruption is our worry, it's the sole reason we aren't progressing, not necessarily party affiliation or the ruling party membership |
Justiyke4u:can you show me any democracy where there is a malicious attack always by the opposition. the idiocy in the current government towards accusing the past administration of every ill forgetting they are almost a year in office is the same as always attacking the administration with statements like " why isn't the corruption battle across board" well i tell you , it is not written anywhere that it must be across board. nobody stopped the past administration from doing same and nobody will stop the next administration from doing same to the APC. its simply a check and balance. positive criticism should be the norm and not partisan criticism. it helps no one |
crixtex:simple and short. |
krendo:your love for your country should surpass your hatred or love for a government, every government shall pass but country remains, the moves being made is for the good of the country. It's not a matter of love for the police but love for the law he is upholding. Pdp must burn, be disgraced and humbled to return stolen funds, once we have done that, I start awaiting the apc to be burned, disgraced and humbled till they return stolen funds. The opposition shall always be a police. Every term will be judged by the next power player. It's for the good of our country |
I find it absolutely shameful that people are so partisan to their DNA. They could sell their mothers just to stand right with their idiosyncrasies. This country is greater than any party, the development of the country should surpass any desire by each party faithful to be supreme. Any right thinking patriotic Nigerian knows corruption is a major issue hampering our development. Even with a clueless government Nigerian will still perform averagely if corruption was stamped out. This should be the main worry of a Nigerian. Thank God we now have a government which is hell bent on chasing, humiliating corrupt elements. Yet people are grumbling. Accusing the President of selective vendetta as though common sense has become extinct. Please I apc should double more efforts to chase down every pdp member from past governments and collect our yams, such retrieved yams should make up 40% of out missing yams. Please in 2019, other opposition parties should rise and challenge at national level because the Nigerian electorate has a more genuine love to opposition than the incumbent. Please whichever opposition than wins in 2019 should chase and harass all apc member from past government to collect our stolen yams, such retrieved yams in combination of that gotten from the pdp should amount to 80% of our missing yams. Enough of this accusation that the corruption fight should be a cross board, nobody fights his family members, that job should be left for perceived enemies which in this case is the opposition in Nigerian political sphere. Why are we the populace who didn't gain a kobo from their kleptomania complain of selective blah blah blah, we keep talking of rule of law yet we forget our judicial system is poo (this doesn't imply we forgo the law). Apc is simply sowing a seed they will reap it's fruit in kind one day. Rather as good Nigerian we should support them because we see the big picture and not their crude methods. Nigeria must rise, corruption must be killed, I advocate the death penalty, I advocate death by stoning, I advocate any measure that can curb out corruption wherever it may exist. Today it's the turn of the pdp, let them burn, let them produce our yams, it shall be in similar vein that the apc shall burn one day and produce our yams. I shall support all such efforts till the tyranny of corruption and lawlessness is wiped out of my country. We have no other country, imagine if there was a refugee situation in Nigeria, with our current global image as theives, rapists and law breakers. Who will accept us or give us laxity. Just as is being offered to terrorism inclined arabs. Nigeria must better, no matter whose ox is gored. |
Whenever I castigate the black man, it appears as though I exalt the white race or suffer from a low self esteem in recognition of my race. This may appear true to the shallow minded but not to real thinkers. I have for a long time researched on the African problem to discern if he is plagued by nature or nurture. Then I decided to consider two important factors to the black man failures. Continental drift: this is a known concept that has been debated for decades, I am an ardent believer in this theory and attribute the African continent as truly the source of human existence. The relative stability of this continent and it's surrounding oceans depicts evidence of age old massive land compressions that closed fault lines, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes etc don't know an African address, it appears as though we were forgotten by the ice age. What ever phenomenon that made life extinct probably occurred in Africa, as evidenced by our rich carbon based minerals that abound all over Africa. This continent is rich, blessed and fortunate and likely never drifted much from its original stable position. Thinking direction : the African man of old existed in a stable environment, with stable problems and because life was unchanging for generations on end, the African man developed a habit of backward thinking, a thinking tending towards his past, a thinking that exalted traditions, how our forefathers did it. They attributed the success of the present to be a result of decisions made by their forefathers in the past and thus hoped to continue this norm in ensuring their future. This trend is a major reason words like tradition, customs, rites etc are common and very important to the African man. The Europeans on the other hand were in an ever changing environment, an environment of no stability, an environment where they had to constantly adapt and evolve to be able to survive in it, it is well known that problems and challenges are a catalyst for innovations. The problems faces by the Europeans and Asians prompted their advancements and evolution towards improving their existence in their environment. Thus the evolution of technology, science and the arts. The African man never had these problems and mostly based his future decisions on his past (how our fathers did it) this stunted their growth on a global perspective but didn't make them inferior. In searching for better lands and environments, the Europeans engaged on voyages, thus inventing ships that enabled them travel to other lands which the conquered. In one of such voyages they encountered religion and seeing it as a better front in conquering locals in regions they travelled to. thus embraced Christianity. This was used in conquering lands to give them a moral justification as now opposed to wars and the search for raw materials. The African man therefore isn't an inferior being, he isn't inferior as compared to the Europeans. With respect to his environment, he was a success and his methods ensured some stability. The emergence of technology and globalisation thus changed the earlier status quo the African enjoyed. There was environmental stability, but there wasn't moral, social, financial stability anymore. These were new problems our forefathers never encountered, this should not be surprising that attempting to continue the practice of traditions or customs towards solving them, kept failing and resulted in our current backwardness. The inability of the African to adapt, evolve to his changing conditions is his achilles heel. We Africans keep looking backward like our forefathers did. We at best are interested in our present, we never think or remember the future. This malaise is the African problem. The Igbos have showed and demonstrated a trait in the African which proves if pushed to the wall, he can innovate. The civil war brought out alot of innovations that marvelled the world, a people with clubs and sticks made airplanes, guns, bombs, ships, refineries etc because they had to do that or face extinction in the hands of their neighbours. This ability to innovate to affect our environmental conditions towards tilting to our favour, has eluded the black race. The Igbos proved we are capable of such innovations caused by tension and therefore it's a hidden trait an African man must endeavour to harness. The economic crisis and oil crisis is a catalyst for this change. The African man can only grow if we utilise this situation ad a catalyst for innovation, reorientation and development. We must prove to the Europeans that we have learnt beyond our ancestors and older generation by being adaptable.! Though the situation is difficult to surmount especially considering the number of years we wasted our affluence on our present satisfaction without thought for the future. WE MUST PROVE OUR METTLE, we must find ways to survive. The economic crisis can either be a catalyst to totally destroy the black man or it could act as one to uplift him from his failures. Whichever choice we make afterall will determine our future and global image. Please lalasticlala and other mods, don't dare push my thread to the front page. You people have showed me that this is a partial forum. Where I have over 75 topics and yet no front page, yet I see replications of my topics on front page. This material is written by me on copyright. It is intended to educate and stir up intelligent discourse on the way forward. So I don't care for front page else I would have mentioned tonto dike. Cheers. |

mikolo80:infiltrating political parties and having an influence is very difficult, especially if you intend to bring true change. It will be like a sheep amongst wolves |
mikolo80:I have just started a little movement, it's still in its infancy. But I have great hopes for it. Hopefully that platform will attract real Nigerians, where we will have an unbiased voice of reason and hopefully in 10 years, have a vibrant nationalistic youth as the presidential candidate of our political party arm. I will walk the talk. I must walk the talk. Lest my children remember amongst the lots of theives and corruption |
Rossikk:hahahahahaha you are really ill bro. Get help. But first Learn to read, English isn't as hard as you think. If and when you are able to understand my post, I will ignore you further. Though u gotta agree you are a clown right? ![]() |

Rossikk:a perfect example of the type of individual that makes up the black problem. Really a backward situation |
I voted for buhari, not because I love him or believe in him, but because I wanted a more competitive political terrain for my dear country, even God wanted same and thus made it possible that today we have a new party at federal level, but should we allow another pdp type impunity to brew again from the Apc? That for the next 16 years we wallow again in mediocrity and party followership. I sure would guess not. Simply put, the emergence of the Apc as the ruling party has opened doors for me to make my next declaration "I FORSEE A FUTURE WHERE THE NIGERIAN ELECTORATE WOULD NO LONGER BE PARTISAN BUT RATHER STATESMEN DRIVEN ONLY BY HUNGER FOR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COUNTRY NIGERIA" looking through many topics on this forum, I come to a conclusion that the biased and hypocritical nature of a typical Nigerian will forever be cloud him from judging rightly for himself or for this nation. The issue is that a black man is a flawed being. He blindly identifies with differences and is opposed to similarities. This is simply why the most uniting factor in Nigeria is tribe and religion. These two social platforms form a major basis of our divisions, the concepts in themselves are too deep for a typical Nigerian to realise when to stop the differentiation. That's why even in the south West, an ijebu man is regarded a leper, in the south East an abakaliki person is regarded as second class etc despite being Igbos, yorubas, hausas, fulani etc yet we are very good at picking out our differences till we self implode. Look at nairaland, see the hatred people have towards the current government, see the love people have towards the current government, all hatred and love not based on sound judgement but partisan affiliation, tribe, religion or trolling behaviour. One cannot get am objective Nigerian anymore. Well I am an objective Nigerian, I wish this government the best, I commend it's corruption fight, I condemn it's methods of corruption fight where it is slowly become tyrannical, where the President doesn't obey the laws, I condemn it's unlawful incarceration of individuals whom the courts have freed, I condemn it's shady dealings with respect to the budget, I commend it's attacks on corrupt institutions etc. As an objective Nigerian, I will commend and condemn as it comes without showing support to evil based on party affiliation, tribe or religion. Africa is bereft of objective people who would admit the truth, say the truth, learn from the truth and finally be the truth we profess. I am eddygourdo, the objective nigerian |
INTERVIEWER: Why are blacks so behind Economically? JEWISH LEADER: The only thing blacks understand is Consumption. Blacks don't understand the importance of creating and building wealth. The fundamental rule is to keep your money within your racial group. We the Jews build Jewish business, hire Jewish, buy Jewish and spend Jewish. There is nothing wrong with that but it is a basic rule blacks cannot comprehend and follow; "He kills his fellow blacks daily instead of wanting to see his fellow black to succeed" 93% of blacks killed in America are by other blacks. Their leaders steal from their people and send the money back to their colonial master from whom they borrow the same money from. Every successful black want to spend his money in the country of his colonial masters. They go on holiday abroad, buy houses abroad, school abroad, go for medical treatment abroad etc instead of spending this money in their own country to benefit their people. Statistics show that the Jew's money exchanges hands 18 times before leaving his community while for blacks it is probably a maximum of once or even zero. Only 6% of black money goes back into their community. This is why Jews are at the top and blacks are at the bottom of every ladder of society. Instead of buying Louis Vuitton, Hermes, expensive cars, shoes, houses, dresses etc, blacks could industralize Africa, build banks and get rid of colonial institutions by putting them out of business. INTERVIEWER: What is your thought on failure of blacks after 150yrs? JEWISH LEADER: Well, nothing is ever the blackman's fault. His compulsive habit of killing his own, compulsive material consumption. His inability to build businesses or preserve wealth are usually somebody else's fault. INTERVIEWER: So what can blacks do to liberate themselves JEWISH LEADER: Blacks must take responsibility. Blacks must unite. And vehemently fight corrupt leaders who run down their country and run to IMF as though IMF is Father Christmas. This message was on a WhatsApp broadcast, since I gat no much friends on my contact list, I rather share with blacks on this forum We all need to learn our lessons quick and build our Nation. |
Mjshexy:maybe cos I am not a very churchy person, dats why I don't know Wat God sounds like, well I will take what I get as what God wants me to get, just afraid that I might get to the end of my life and I never experienced true happiness, rather just opposites of things I wanted. |
cruzita:I try to do exactly that, then one morning I wake up feeling today is a good day, I go out and have the worst possible day, I come back home almost amidst tears, I wake up the next day hoping to continue my bad day from yesterday, then I have the best day of the week, am really complaining cos it seems life wants me sad, angry and non expectant, that's the only time it goes in my favour |
Creamish:I wanna believe you, I wish it all for a better purpose, else it will hurt so much that I never was truly happy, always getting things I didn't want while things I want for no reason, just never wanted me. Very very hurt right now |
Bosville:exactly, common occurrence? Maybe I need to stop wanting money maybe I will get it, most times once I throw tantrums and threaten suicide, something good happens immediately |
misspicy:deliverance ke. Well maybe |
Idydarling:seriously? It stopped just like that. I wish it does. Am tired of things I don't want while I watch things I want pass me by |
Amongst two things, I love the first one and want it, the second one I despise and don't want, do you know the one I end up getting? Your guess is as good as mine. THE SECOND ONE. This has become a worrying trend. That I now start cheating nature or which ever devil's are following me about. I tend to get the opposite of what I truly desire, when I wanted to work, very eager to get a job, none came, the moment I abandoned the idea and tried entrepreneurship, I had multiple job offers, I was journeying from one organisation to another turning down jobs and feeling like a don (beautiful 2006). Today I look at my existence and realise 80%of what I own and do are things I hated and didn't want. 80% of my female admirers are yansh less and they chase me about, while the big booty ones i personaly like, loathe me for no goddam reason I am at a job I truly loathe doing, if I attend an interview for another of this same job, I will nail it even if I perform poorly or wore my underwear to the venue, give me a million dollar suit on my good brain day and I won't cross the first stage of a job I really will love. I drive a car I truly loathe, the one I loved gave me so much problems that the day she caught fire, I fought off everybody who ran to help with their extinguishers, I warned them off and watched her burn, just as she has burnt my self esteem many times, so am left with the foolish Nissan I hate. I live in a town I hate, the towns I love seems to have rejected me, even a maiguard job there to enable me finally live there and be happy eludes me, leaving me to a messed up environment filled with ugly women and boredom with a decent income I can't spend on my happiness Etc. Too numerous to mention, I am tempted to stop fighting the direction of the wave but decieve it, I think I need to start liking flat yansh ladies with big boobs since the universe will auto reverse please me by granting me the opposite, which I secretly like. I need to do thar with my job and everything too, hopefully the universe will be decieved to grant me the opposite without knowing it's just been played. Am I just ungrateful and paranoid? |
My mummy |
Kayoski:bros I miss Sheldon Cooper, where did you stop in big bang theory, I am in season 8 and can't find others, e Don finish? |
cherrybrown:huh ? Dont get, was that a subtle jab ? |
sickstars:ok ma.incase i chase you tomorrow which i likely will do, this is a disclaimer (i disagree with the op). |

Loose girls, a great relief it is to have them in your hood, office , hostel , class or even church during the periods of konjinus or harmattan. These brave set of women are the sole reason rape isnt so rampant , they are demolishers of erection, that anything looking erect is at their mercies, carrots, cucumbers , nails and even hydraulic car jack. We love them and today we say thank you all . It should be pointed out the immense contribution these people make to our divorce rate, they sometimes increase it but most times decreases it thanks to their competent services to the husband bachelors of these days who keep decieving themselves with the married logo (wedding ring), yet chasing anything on a make up. These set of women surprisingly arent found in brothels, they dont necassarily wear skinmpy clothes and not all attend clubs and night parries. These hardworking ladies are most times your regular nairalander, your regular coursemate, your regular wife, your regular girlfriend and worse still your regular sister in the lord. They are all involved in the service to humanity of demolishing money carrying erections wherever in the land the bearers may be. Once again i congratulate them , yet i write this letter to you . Two incidents prompted this, do note that i, eddygourdo is still a loyal customer to your services so take advice at face value (i wont want to be branded a pariah to the offering of ur loins thanks to my outburst). Anyway, a young man stupidly showed his pre wedding photos online on this forum, people admired online but offline something terrible happened, apparently a stupid former colleague started doing aproko to the young man after he saw the pre wedding photos, he told the man how his soon to be wifey was the hood LovePeddler , every body ate and cleaned mouth, blah blah blah, since i kinda knew the lady previously from a job traininng together, he called me amidst tears to corroborate the story (my people , na true oh, all we trainees used the girl as dessert and snacks then, it was like she was counting census) . I tried to calm him down , unto say it was the past and he ouught not judge her with that event , but the weeping and cursing continued which brings me to my second issue. This so called wife to be gave him the "i was raped " and "i have been celibate ever since" game. She in an attempt to cover up her past (which shouldnt matter except for the fact ladies IT DOES MATTER TO WE MEN) told him the usual tales by moonlight stories women tell men. He has been distraught and though am still worrking on him cos the lady has changed which i confirmed by trying to sleep witg her again . I still am here to advise you.WHAT YOU DO IN THE PAST CAN COME AROUND TO HAUNT YOU. There is nothing like i was immatture, i didnt know any better, blah blah blah. You knew, your eyes were open when you opened your legs to every eddygourdo who said hello. But thats not my problem sef, its your life to live how you like it, by the way how many men deserve virgin ladies, with our dog behaviour. My major problem is with the delilah attitude, the spirit to decievee the man you are with , thats most unforgiving , its better to be straight with a man with whom you were formerly (if asked oh, dont say wetin dem no ask you ) and let him know you no longer that way because of your love for him, than to let him find out conflictinf reports from the public. Becausr the truth is that so far you bear or have borne that title of loose woman before, he sure must run into one of ur eddygourdos who will tell him the truth. If a man doesnt love your past and your present, then you have no business building your future with him. Thank you in anticipation of our continued relations my dear loose women............... Signed concerned customer |

Buhari doesn't warrant any support...the only thing we as patriotic Nigerians would do is prepare a life support machine Nigeria would be on once buhari finishes his term
. Seriously u need to pray more & allow God direct u always, don't just rush into decisions.
