Please at the vfs during submission, how many people were given a reference number LAGO*****/****/** or ABUJU *****/****/**?

During submission we were not given any reference number except the booking one we had initially from XYZ*************/*.

If such problem suffice, how do we correct this?

Thank you

Hello Olatemi and sorry about your rejection
there’s simply some doubt on your intentions to study. Accordingly to case study, the following can be a reason:

* Poor Motivation letter
* Repeating a degree
* Change of Course
* Financial proof (maybe the money was just deposited for the purpose of sponsoring you and don’t flow before regular)
* Missing documents
* Mistake on documents/ failure to certify the necessary documents at the recommended organization.

Further ask VFS if you can file an appeal, i think yes but not sure, if it possible then file an appeal and take corrections from the listed items above and everything will be alright.

Failure to certify the necessary documents shouldn't cause a refusal because when such is done, during the interview they might tell you to do proper certification by resenting those documents.
Lithuani embassy in Turkey is always known for that...except the rules have changed. I heard a different consular is now there who issues rejection to all applicants. I really don't know how true this is but I was told.
Travel / Re: Lithuania Student Visa by editorAA: 5:16pm On Dec 21, 2021
So what happens when sponsor letter, bank statement and id card were attested by notary public instead of foreign affairs while vfs officials accepted these documents for submission?

Did you submit a personal letter of intent or letter that explained yourself?

Hello guys, is it advisable that someone with a third class applied for an undergraduate study given the admission can tell the consular she had a third class and it's why she is doing another BSc? Do you think this idea will fly and the consular will not feel like rejecting her the visa?

She read linguistic in Nigeria and now wants to study social works in KU as undergraduate, what can she use as her defence at the embassy?

Can she submit her BSc cert and transcript to the consular thru the vfs or she should withhold it to avoid the first Bsc?

If she doesnt they will ask what she has been doing for the past 11 years.

Please I need your advice

I applied using the normal touristic application. I submitted my bank statement, letter of introduction from my employer, hotel reservation, flight booking, my employment letter, and insurance. The application took me just 4 working days and the visa was out. I submitted 3rd of July on Wednesday and came out on Tuesday 8th of July 2019. Go to MZ visa , and there you will find some information. MZ visa is an agent responsible for Turkish visa.

How did you apply
Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by editorAA: 9:44pm On Aug 03, 2019
University of tartu accepts 2.2 on paper work but have you ever thought of a permutation in mathematics?

Estonia is a country that gives tuition waiver to the best grades. Therefore, this is like a sugar trap to attract 2.1 students.

Once you have a course capacity of 40 students and you have 60 applicants with 2.1, a 2.2 candidate should know chances are so slow.

If you have 2.2, always pray lesser 2.1 candidate apply, if not...it would be so difficult to be considered.

In a nutshell, I will not encourage a 2.2 candidate to apply. If it's a must, then go for BSc.

It is unfortunate that people are not being told the rigors behind holding a National D visa to work. When you private chat some in there, they will let you know it's impossible to get a job with national D visa. Yet, they keep encouraging people to come over.

We need to help people out if we are there and know the situation of things better.

Hello, I am going through turkey for my national D visa and I also know previous students who had gone through the national D visa in Ankara.

From one, I heard it takes 10 days while I also heard it took someone 3 weeks to get his own. I heard is the best and lenient embassy as well.

Are you also
UncleTJ:
Hello house,

I have gone through this trend from the very first page up to the last post, and I still can't find an answer to my question - which is, "given all documents are complete and accurate, how long does the Lithuanian embassy in Ankara, Turkey takes to process the National D visa?"

I have called the embassy numerous times on +903124470766 but I still couldn't get a definite answer from them.

So, please I need an input from someone who has, in the past gone through the process at this exact embassy for this exact type of visa.

Thanks and I wish you all success.

Are you serious about this? I am about using turkey

For now Egypt and Turkey visa from Nigeria is almost impossible to get, this year things are totally different and difficult, getting admission is good but visa is the ultimate thing you need to be in Lithuania or Estonia, making the right decision is very important at this stage as very few will be able to leave Nigeria. Labas for now

Please I will advise all 2.2 not and should stop applying to tarts or tallinn...it is accepted though but technically, you will not be picked. Estonia is a country that attracts first class and second class upper students. So if you have 2.2 you are welcome but your chances are so slim. Don't waste your precious time. Look elsewhere

Please don't try India now. In 2015, India used to be the thing but things have changed. Is either you go for Egypt or turkey. For Egypt, it is a function of your interview date. Pick anot unrealistic interview date in June from Estonia embassy in cairo...this is what Egypt embassy in Abuja will work towards...so as to hasten it up. Once they approve your documents for visa payment, reapply for another appointment date in Estonia embassy in Cairo for your final interview.

And all those that have gotten admission and are ready for embassy application, I think we should have a group chat to organize ourselves.

Please on this forum, can anyone with experience what and how the Estonia interview look like at the embassy?

Do they ask questions about yourself and what u wanna do over there?

Or is it a workover if all your documents meets their requirements?

What are the questions being asked at the interview at the Estonia embassy?

Thank you

Have you been able to find out since then? I am looking at applying in Lagos instead of Abuja. How possible iso it?

Hello everyone.
Can anyone here help with information on getting a tourist VISA to Egypt?? I haven't had much luck searching. I know the Embassy is in Abuja, but do I just walk in or do I need to schedule an appointment??
I also can't seem to find the application form on-line. All I find is e-visa application and Nigeria is not an eligible country. I have also tried to search through dozens of post here.
Anyone who has gotten one recently or can help please!!!

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by editorAA: 8:45pm On Mar 08, 2019
Please, from TLS contact, is this how exorbitant the price is or what?

I don't understand. Is it that after the $126 of visa fee for 6 month, one will have to pay another £90 again to TLS?

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by editorAA: 9:09pm On Mar 07, 2019
I have applied for the UK visa today but the tls contact appointment availability was only opened from 18th of March on Monday, in short I booked my appointment to be on the 18th March while my date of arrival is slated for April 01.
Calculating 18th March to March 30, that is exactly 9 working days. Is this plan possible? Though if it goes beyond that date, I would not mind.
But am I eligible with the state of things here?

Again, I am planning to spend just 5 days with a statement of account showing balance of 950k and my budget is flight ticket 300k, hotel accommodation 274 pounds...but I gave a rough estimate of 700k for the whole 5 days. I work in the University as an administrative officer with payslip showing 100k monthly.

I have reasonable travelling history. I have been to the US on 4 different times with my new passport being issued in the US as well.

The biodata page shows the place of issuance as USA.

Finally, I have no landed property to present. What are my chances?

Honestly, I have updated the motivation letter several times like changing sentences or transition used. I thought because I am yet to submit my test of English, they may not have analized my document. So I can't count number of times I have changed words and add new words and so on. I have paid the application fee. Hope this won't have a detrimental effect?
Suplexx:

Have you paid your application fee? If yes, there is a big chance that your motivation letter is already being evaluated along side other documents you submitted. If you modify your application the admission committee might have to start all over again.
Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by editorAA: 10:07pm On Mar 01, 2019
After submitting one's application, is it allowed to updates or edit one's motivation letter? If yes, when will it be the last to update any information submitted?
Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by editorAA: 6:48pm On Feb 22, 2019
For all I know, Egypt embassy has not been helpful for once especially when it comes intermediate embassy as a result of school admission.
I know a friend whose passport was held for 2 months without any further process. Why didn't they try Turkey or India? India as well isn't reliable these days.
